BEFORE: It doesn't get any easier for LCA veteran Cassidy Freeman who doubles up on the recent Tahnee Atkinson divisional title experience with another swimsuit model test courtesy of Karlie Kloss. The Danish-American stole the headlines back in 2016 when she stopped then pound-for-pound leader Amanda Righetti but enjoyed a mixed 2017 crowned by a gut-wrenching loss to lightweight Miranda Kerr in the Victoria's Secret War In Heaven tournament final. She hasn't fought at all so far this season which makes Erin Andrews wonder if there's some mental damage involved as Kloss was the betting favorite against Kerr all things considered.

Meanwhile Freeman simply can't avoid this wave of new lingerie talent sponsored by Victoria's Secret or Sports Illustrated anymore. The days of Righetti, Regan or Moore dominating the 130+ lbs landscape are long gone and the Lioness entourage realizes their redhead power-hitter comes in as the underdog these days but that only make all the potential victories taste even better than before.

This is also an unofficial "Battle of the Windy City" as Kloss was indeed born in Chicago despite European heritage. Freeman won't give away her home turf without a fight so there's additional prestige at stake in tonight's contest.

Cassidy Freeman wears a grey sports bra with black trim, black hotpants and red gloves. Medium lenght red hair tied in a curled ponytail. Karlie Kloss wears a white bikini set with red trim and golden gloves. Long dark blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Cassidy gives away three inches in height but plucks several punches to the blonde's body during the opening round as Karlie's not exactly known for her agility and struggles to adjust her footing too often to avoid the initial rush. She swings her efforts over the top but Cassidy - who's not a speed demon herself - ducks away from them and maintains the close range control. It's very hard to inflict outright pain on the blonde girl and she keeps the redhead in check when she delivers a couple of good hooks on the nose alas Freeman's harpoons make enough noise around the arena to prevent Kloss from a proper response for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
Karlie shows more mean intentions after landing several crisp shots through the middle and works the jab well enough to keep the older woman in mid-range discomfort. Cassidy can't follow through with the body shots anymore and skims off the low guard before soaking up a steady aerial assault that threatens to derail her plans very quickly indeed. Kloss isn't bothered with the lack of versatility as she head-hunts the redhead across the face and Erin Andrews begins to wonder if the Tahnee Atkinson defeat plays on Freeman's mind here as she allows the blonde to bully her back to the ropes down the stretch where only a desperate clinch can save her from outright punishment.

Round 3:
Kloss takes over the mid-distance control again but Freeman shows more lithe footwork compared to the blonde's sluggish efforts and avoids the aerial artillery before a plucky harpoon finds the target and glues the model to the spot. Cassidy tries her luck with a quick one-two combo but Karlie only barks in disapproval and steadies the ship with an overhand blast that catches the actress on the jaw and wobbles her for the first time tonight. Karlie's unable to follow through as she meets a stubborn guard but she reels the older woman back to the ropes as the head-hunting galore makes the Lioness look a bit too respectful according to Erin Andrews. The Bradenton-based stable talked about Freeman being an underdog against these towering lingerie babes but this is way too cautious to force Kloss into changing her tactics.

Round 4:
BIG PUNCH KLOSS!!! The Lioness plans take a big hit early in the fourth as Karlie lands one of her piledrivers on the redhead's nose and almost bends her sideways on the spot. The footing goes all south too and the blonde whacks the veteran with additional juice to bulldoze her back to the ropes. Cassidy fails to deke away from more Danish extravaganza and bellows out behind a tight earmuff while Karlie simply lets it rip!!! She catches the older woman on top of her shoulder a couple of times but then dissects the high guard and squashes the nostrils into a bloody nightmare! Uh-oh! Freeman soaks up three big strikes on the bounce and leaks red fluid while Kloss carries along amid loud cheers from the audience. However Freeman somehow SURVIVES the onslaught and clinches the model when she finally runs out of steam!! Erin Andrews doesn't understand how Kloss failed to put her rival away here but maybe she's lost some of that mighty oomph while sitting on the sidelines for the past six months?

Round 5:
The Lioness entourage is very much up against it now so Claudia Schiffer orders a trial by fire approach and it catches the blonde off her stance; Freeman literally runs across the canvas to stick her mitts into the model's ribcage and while Karlie tries to inflict more damage on the patched-up nose, she gets chopped to her heels when the midsection attack breaks her resilience. Cassidy almost head-butts her in the proccess but eventually forces the model into reeling mode before blasting her on the jugs for a good measure. Karlie yelps in pain but fails to respond from the back foot and gets clobbered into the turnbuckle where the redhead lifts her jugs into more misery and punches her to the body which completely neutralizes any possible comeback. Kloss slumps deeper on her knees and looks set to survive this tough ordeal UNTIL Freeman pulls the oxygen plug out and pierces the solar plexus to DROP THE BLONDE ONTO HER KNEES inside the final few seconds! United Center roars in delight while Kloss takes a standard eight count and ultimately gets saved by the bell moments later. Erin Andrews can hardly believe it but the Lioness veteran is very much alive here at half-distance stage!

Round 6:
Cassidy jumps into another aggressive rally and makes Karlie look even more sluggish than before; the towering model responds with a meaningless single-hand assault and sticks to her jab that barely grazes the redhead's flesh. She refuses to completely yield the real estate though and fends off the initial rush with Freeman still lacking precision in the mid-range combat zone despite superior mobility. She bullies the blonde around but struggles to make her presence count and it's Kloss who gets more aggressive down the stretch especially when she sticks a couple of hooks on the previously wounded nose. Cassidy remains on the front foot though and ducks low to channel more success against the model's midriff but eats a thumping hook on the right eye before the follow up skims off the top of her forehead... if only Karlie landed it on target! However she gets another opportunity moments later as Freeman only clips her chin with an uppercut attempt and wobbles ever so-slightly forward right where Kloss WHACKS her on the jaw with a proper response. Ugh! The Lioness veteran slides onto her heels and fails to react when the model TEARS into her lips with a right cross THAT SENDS THE REDHEAD CRASHING DOWN moments later! Booyah! Cassidy hits the deck HARD but just like her rival in the fifth, she receives help from the expiring clock and there's not enough time for Karlie to finish her off when she beats the count at eight. The crowd is on their feet now and the slugging war of attrition is set to continue very soon!

Round 7:
Karlie charges through the redhead's high guard and snaps her head back repeatedly in the opening seconds as that knockdown seems to have done more physical damage than Erin Andrews anticipated. Freeman's unable to stay out of the blonde's striking range and gets thumped back to the ropes with the age difference perhaps coming to the fore and allowing Kloss to dominate the older woman. She scythes Cassidy against the nose and there's blood coming out of the damaged nostrils again which only fuels the model's intensity as she outworks the former champion and connects with a couple of big uppercuts that leave Freeman sagging on the ropes... add another powerful cross hook on the nose and uh-oh... Cassidy goes all tank-slapper mode and succumbs to a left hook that slams her on the breasts as she was running low on oxygen already... FREEMAN CRASHES ONTO HER BACKSIDE in the corner and Karlie shakes her glove in delight over her head before retreating back to the neutral corner. She winks back at the partisan audience but Cassidy won't give up the home town pride just like that! She somehow gets up at eight and a change even though there's blood coming from her nose and she looks damaged beyond repair according to Erin Andrews (biased?) commentary. Whatever the case, the ref allows the fight to continue but Karlie cranks it up with another uppercut double and sends the former champion behind a desperate earmuff in the LCA corner. She switches low to punish the exposed ribcage and quite frankly Cass has nothing left to give as the younger woman simply cleans out shop and batters her into a standstill just past the one minute mark... even though most of the fans gathered inside United Center would love to see this battle continue, the REF HAS SEEN ENOUGH and spares Freeman a brutal knockout which was ineviteable given the circumstances. TKO7 Karlie Kloss!!!

AFTER: The gruesome battle for Chicago dominance is over and just like the LCA entourage had feared several months ago, these lingerie/swimsuit models are going to punch themselves to ultimate welterweight glory sooner rather than later. However the old lioness still has some claws about her, Cassidy decked the new Illinois champion and was matching her punch for punch before superior physical reserves allowed Kloss to pull away into victory. However the blonde seems genuinely gracious in victory as she helps to escort the banged up redhead back to her corner and exchanges few words with LCA head coach Claudia Schiffer. Well, these models always find something in common to talk about and it's quite strange to see Karlie share a laugh with Schiffer before she heads back to center of the ring to thrive on the standing ovation from the United Center audience.

She later tells Erin Andrews: "Look, we're bitter enemies when the bell sounds but outside of the ring Cassidy is a really nice girl! I've met her several times when nobody even thought about offering me a FCBA contract and then there was this Girls Friday sparring camp when I knocked out some names you wouldn't believe if I told you! It's not exactly the Al Capone days, the LCA knows Cassidy is up against it and tonight's result only confirmed I'm the new Queen in town (laughs). It might hurt their pride but that was simply unavoidable!"
