BEFORE:

"Well, I'm not surprised to get a call to come to Philly," says Rebecca with a smile. "But, I figured it would be against a welter, not a lightweight. Wouldn't matter, though. Either way, Big Becky is coming out on top."

"She's big, strong, and can hit," says Anna with a nod. "She's a serious challenge. And, I'm ready for it."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Darling Nikki' you hear behind us, but, obviously, that's not The Purple One singing, but, instead, the lady coming down to the ring right now, the lovely Rebecca Romijn of 'X-Men'!"

Tess: "And, as Rebecca points out, she's, indeed, a welterweight. But, Torv's fought welters before, and our former Commissioner actually advocated her making a run up there, because she DOES have welter power."

O'Dell: "Romijn climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe. She's wearing a silver bikini and showing off a body that looks ANYTHING but 45 years old..."

McCarthy: "And, I have to KEEP saying it EVERY month. Nothing. But. A. Number."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'The Pain and the Passion' by Midnight Oil you hear, and here comes 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv!"

McCarthy: "Who is the ONE real fighter in Weirdo's entire stable!"

O'Dell: "Anna tapping glove to fist with Mac on the way by the table as usual, then climbing into the ring to be helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that black bikini we've seen before. And, the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Anna. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Romijn can beat all of Weirdo's Dancing Hookers, but, Torv's the real deal. Anna!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Another unanimous panel as we get going in the first. Ladies right to range, and that's no surprise. Both of these blondes are long and both like to extend on their punches. Romijn the more aggressive of the pair in the early going, looking to drop in some right hands, get some power punches on..."

McCarthy: "No surprise. She's the pure welter here and has to think she has the advantage in the power department, though I'm not sure if I agree.."

O'Dell: "Not sure that's the case with Anna, either. Torv definitely has welter power. Ladies doing a lot of moving right now, both making with the feet, angling, looking to get the geometry right. Torv taking a single step to here and there. She's giving up a little reach, but knows how to deal with that..."

Tess: "No doubt about it. Anna's as skilled as it gets at lightweight."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch in what's, pretty much, been a recon round, with the ladies definitely doing a little feeling out here. Again, Romijn a little more aggressive, and that's been the difference in the round so far. Five seconds to go. Sharp exchange and there's the bell. Close. Rebecca."

Cassie: "And, Romijn is up 10-9."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins like the first ended, with the ladies at range getting their box on. Again, Torv angling, stepping up here and there, offsetting Romijn's reach and NAILING Rebecca with a solid combination! That got the welter's attention and TORV DOES IT AGAIN! Big right hand in there!"

McCarthy: "Like I've TOLD you again and again, Torv's the only real deal in Weirdo's stable and she's got enough power to fight up here."

O'Dell: "And, she's getting off with it right now. Romijn not hurt, but she's getting touched up. Torv putting punches together, getting hard, accurate leather on target, sending sweat flying, piling up points and tossing the taller woman completely over to the defensive right now."

Cassie: "Some lightweights, they get a little too cautious if they step up to welter, because of the power. Not Torv."

O'Dell: "Definitely not. Coming down the stretch in the second and Anna in control. She's putting together flurry after flurry that have Rebecca on her back foot. Romijn firing back here and there, trying to slow this down, but not getting it done. Five seconds to go. ANOTHER good right from Anna and there's the bell."

Tess: "Definitely a wide one for Torv, and she evens it at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Torv back to work in the third. She's gotten rolling here, and she's keeping that roll going, putting together flurry after flurry, forcing the taller woman to back and cover. Romijn unable to get off right now, ladies, and that's made things very one-sided at the moment, as it's the Aussie getting all the work done..."

Tess: "Not sure if quickness is the issue here or not, but Anna's getting off first and forcing Rebecca onto the counter."

O'Dell: "When Romijn can even manage that much, because she's mostly not getting her offense off at all. Again, taller woman not hurt, but she's just getting out-boxed and out-hit right now. And, this is the kind of thing we've seen Torv do before. When she gets it going, she's just about as good as it gets."

Cassie: "And, she's definitely got it going right now."

O'Dell: "Definitely has and there's ANOTHER nice flurry from Torv. Again, Rebecca forced to cover up and give some ground. Torv stepping to, lands a nice one-two. Ten seconds to go in the round. Another good combination by Anna and there's the bell. Second straight great round for Torv, who takes it wide."

McCarthy: "And takes the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins with Anna again fighting lead. Romijn trying to get off in counter, but not having a...RIGHT HAND, REBECCA AND TORV IS ROCKED! A BOOMING right-hand counter from the taller woman and the Aussie's legs gave a shimmy and now Romijn is going all in!"

Cassie: "This is what I talked about earlier, the dangers of fighting at this weight. Ton of power and it only takes one punch."

O'Dell: "And, Rebecca landed it. And, the model now walking Torv down, backing her up with heavy fire. Anna now taking on that defensive role, keeping the gloves high, giving ground, playing for some time. Romijn sitting down on everything right now, looking for the finisher..."

McCarthy: "And, this is a girl with plenty of power. But, Anna's a smart fighter and she's playing this smart."

O'Dell: "Definitely doing some managing. Aussie jabbing here and there, staying off the ropes, looking to stay off square. She's picking off some punches, rolling with others, running clock. Rebecca, though, landing some hard shot and scoring a ton of points right to the bell. There it is, and, while Anna's still standing, it's Romijn who's claimed the round wide."

Tess: "And evened the fight at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Romijn right back after Anna as we start the fifth Torv again willing to play defense and give ground here, as Big Becky walks her down, tosses heavy leather. Romijn looking to at least clean up if she can't finish up, and she's definitely tossing some hard shot around in there."

Tess: "Torv countering here and there, landing some good punches herself."

O'Dell: "Yes, she is, but Rebecca took control with that big right hand in the last stanza, and she's keeping it with effective aggression in this one. Romijn a good one-two there. Torv fires back, stops the model's forward advance. GOOD right from Romijn in response and DOWN GOES REBECCA!"

McCarthy: "THAT'S what I'm TALKING ABOUT! What a punch!"

O'Dell: "A THUNDEROUS right hand from Torv and Romijn blown to her back. Anna to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. No movement AT ALL from Rebecca as the count continues. Six. Seven. Eight. This is academic. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO5 in one-punch fashion is 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv!"

Cassie: "I hate to agree with Mac, but...what a punch."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Anna Torv, and, Anna, where did that right hand COME from?"

Anna (smiling): "Well, she was getting pretty aggressive with me after she wobbled me with that right of hers, and that was SOME punch, by the way. Opened herself up a little bit, and I took advantage."

Tess: "Answered any questions about whether you've got the power to fight up here."

Anna: "I didn't know there WERE any questions. I've done it before and knocked girls out."

Tess (smiling): "I know the answer to this, but I'm going to ask it. What's next for you?"

Anna: "Whatever gets me closer to another shot at the belts."
