Chloe: 21 YO 5’4 (1.63 m), 5-6-0, 5 KO since 2016, FCBA Unmanaged

Before: Rumor has it that Foxfire Boxing has quietly arranged the support for this bout as part of their search for a new Flyweight prospect. Sofia Carson probably the least known of the two. She is came out of the Disney program (“THE DESCENDENTS 1 & 2”), but is slowly building up her resume. She is due to appear as a regular in the 2019 PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: THE PERFECTIONISTS) . Chloe Grace Moretz is the better known actress with a long list of movie roles from LET ME IN, KICK-ASS, THE 5TH WAVE and NEIGHBORS 2. She has also had a lot more fights than Sofia, something Ms. Carson is quite aware of at the pre-fight:

“Sure, all I have in my FCBA record is that one losing fight to Jane Levy. Who was a lot older and a lot more experienced than me; I would like to see would well Chloe does against me. Besides, Chloe’s lost her last four fights. Bet she doesn’t mention that to you. Abigail Breslin. A.J Lee beat her, Geez Stella Hudgens and Sammi Hanratty from The Wannabees both beat her! You really want someone like that on your stable? I think I would be a such better prospect and if certain people are watching this fight, they will realize that and sign me up instead!”

Chloe Moretz gives Sofia is pitying smile and shake of the head: “Sofia only wishes she had the experience I’ve gained. Sure my last few fights didn’t go right and she better look out those Wannabee girls are nasty. They treated me rough and don’t think I’ve forgotten it. I’ll get them back one of these days and I would love to have management behind me so I can do it. I would be a dedicated pupil, more than willing to learn and prove myself. Don’t waste your time on someone like Sofia—she’ll be forgotten in two years. I will just be reaching my peak if I have the right support.”

“More likely you’ll be in the ditch by then,” Sofia snipes, “and I’ll be the one at the peak.”

“You better hope you fight as well as you diss because otherwise you are in for a long and painful experience against me!:” Chloe snaps.

“I fight even better than I talk trash!” Sofia blurts out, then catches herself and adds: “Good enough to beat an arrogant ‘Future Jobber of the FCBA’ like you.”

The two young women look about ready to start the fight right there, but C-BAD officials want to ensure all that youthful energy gets saved for their ring. So minders glide in from the wings and escort that seething young beauties the stage.

Come Fight Night, Sofia is in blue one piece swimsuit with shoulder straps. Dark blue gloves and boots. Dark hair pulled back into a ponytail with a blue bow. Chloe is in a cream faux lingerie body suit with black boots and gloves. Her blonde hair is in a battle braid down her back. Much bodying up and hip bumping during the pre-fight. Referee speaks sternly to keep Chloe and Sofia in line during ring instructions, but they make only a token attempt at a glove tap before turning away from each another with noses high. The fighters reach their corners and wait with obvious impatience for the bell. The bell rings.

R1: Chloe and Sofia come charging out of their corners and start swinging. Both strike at the head and land punches. They spin away, but come right back at each other. This time they trade punches to the chin and both fall back in shock. Once again, though, they quickly shake off the punches and start firing away. Battle now swirling in circles at mid ring as punches continue to land thick and fast, though attention to be shifting to the body. Chloe pounding Sofia’s gut while Sofia is banging away at Chloe’s breasts and ribcage. Then Chloe gets two quick ones into Sofia’s chin to send her stumbling back. Chloe jumping after trying to keep Sofia in retreat, but Sofia busts up Chloe’s face with some desperation jabs. Chloe drops back, but comes back and again hooks Sofia to the belly, Sofia doubled up but covering her face protectively. Then the bell sounds as time runs out. Chloe Moretz emerges the narrow winner of a hard-fought round.

R2: More quick movement from the respective corners brings Chloe and Sofia into another furious initial punchfest. However this time, Sofia gets to Chloe’s jaw with pounding rights and then a left to the chin. Chloe falls back in confusion. Sofia has to scramble to keep up with her and this gives Chloe time to cover her head. Sofia doesn’t waste her punches high and instead drops down to pound the young blonde to the body. Chloe doubled up, still trying to protect her head as Sofia knocks her head from side to side. Sofia then works on trying to drive Sofia into the ropes, but Chloe manages to get her jab going enough to stall this effort. The bell rings and Chloe is breathing hard. Sofia looking understandably pleased as she walks back to her corner leaving a woozy Chloe to stumble back to her own stool.

R3: Chloe slow coming out of her corner. Sofia moves quickly to the attack going Chloe’s belly and driving her backwards. Sofia seems to be working Chloe towards the ropes and Chloe tries to counterattack to avoid this, Chloe swings for Sofia’s head, but the brunette dodges the incoming and fires right uppercut to the chin. Chloe freezes AND TOPPLES ONTO HER FACE! CHLOE IS DOWN! Sofia can’t help jumping up and down from the excitement until the referee orders her to the neutral corner. Sofia hastily obeys. Chloe has groggily pushed herself up onto all fours as hears the referee starting to count. She lets it go to “EIGHT! Then she pushes herself erect at “NINE!” Sofia slaps the turnbuckle in the neutral corner in frustration, but then heads back at Chloe. Chloe clearly not interested in any more risky exchanges and maintains a tight defense that allows Sofia no further inroads. Round ends with Chloe actually managing a smile and the frustrated Sofia doesn’t appreciate it. She gives Chloe a push. Chloe pushes right back and referee has to jump in to restore order by finger-waving admonitions. Chloe and Sofia go sullenly to their corners.

R4: Hard work in Chloe’s corner gets the young blonde back out with a surprising spring to her step. Sofia seems intent on blasting Chloe into a knockout she won’t be able to recover from in time. Sofia launches a blockbuster right as Chloe lets her come in and launch. Chloe then neatly ducks under the telegraphed right and fires back a lightning right of her own that spins Sofia’s head around so fast that the blue ribbon in her hair goes flying. Sofia blasted by the punch goes spinning wildly into the ropes. She steadies only to have Chloe charge on her with gloves swinging. Sofia banged up to the head, covers her noggin and finds herself hammered into the ropes. Sofia tries to slide along the ropes, trying to find an escape route, but Chloe hanging with her, pounding away. It takes Sofia a long minute to think of what to do to stop the bombardment. She lunges and wraps Chloe in a bear hug, pinning her arms to her sides as they waltz out to mid ring. Referee rushes and pulls them apart. Chloe furious and referee has to calm her down a moment before letting her go after Sofia. Chloe vengefully on Sofia to the body, trying to back her into the ropes, but going face in gloves and not budging very much despite the hammering. Rounds ends and judges declare it a shutout for Chloe Moretz. Sofia just looks glad to survived, while Chloe is the one looking frustrated.

R5: Sofia Carson corner crew does their best, but Sofia is sluggish getting off her stool and coming out of her corner, Chloe Moretz not rushing in, sizes Sofia up with some probing shots to the body that makes the brunette shudder, then goes hard to the belly and breasts. Sofia writhing, dropping her gloves to protect her ravaged middle and then Chloe goes Sofia’s jaw. She bangs in rights and lefts that knock Sofia’s head from side to side. Then left/right uppercuts to the chin. DOWN GOES SOFIA, Sofia crashes onto her face and lies there shuddering and groaning. Chloe marches to the neutral corner. Referee moves in. Sofia rolls over onto her side and then into a sitting position. She hears the count rising and tries to stand, but falls back with a groan of misery and frustration. She pulls her knees up and wraps her arms around them as she looks up at the referee with tears streaming down her cheeks.

“NINE!...TEN!...YOU ARE OUTTTTT!!!”

THE WINNER: CHLOE MORETZ DEFEATS SOFIA CARSON KO5

Sofia presses her face against her knees and sobs. Chloe Mortez leaps up on the turnbuckle and raises her arms like she has just won the Flyweight Title. Then she walks around the ring like a pageant queen saluting her fans. Then she comes over to where the referee has helped Sofia to her feet.

“Poor ‘Loser Sofia’ is crying! You should cry! I took away the best chance you’ll ever have! You cry and cry about that!” Chloe taunts. “That will teach you to talk trash to me you jobber!”

“I hate you! I hate you!” Sofia cries in misery and anger.

“You know, Sofia, you almost had me in the R3. Thanks for the ‘long count.’ Don’t feel too bad, a guy named Jack Dempsey made that mistake it cost him a fight too.” Chloe said chattily.

“Spare me the history lesson, you bully, I swear I will get you for this!” Sofia snapped. She was no longer crying, though the tears tracks could be seen on her face.

“Well, good, now you have motivation. Maybe you won’t be a jobber after all.” Chloe says and pats Sofia on the head.

Sofia tries to lunge at Chloe, but Chloe steps aside and the weakened Sofia sags into the referees arms. Chloe nods and then strolls back to own corner and the distraught Sofia is led away.

Exciting battle of young flyweights didn’t last very long, but there was plenty of action for the fans. Chloe Mortez showed her toughness by coming back from a knockdown to win the fight. Sofia Carson’s early knockout can be chalked up to her being an over-eager rookie who neglected her defense in trying to finish off an opponent. No word on what Foxfire thought of the contest, but they certainly had much to consider as their “undercover” talent search continues.
