Adriana Lima vs Kelly Rohrbach

Before: Kelly indignant: “There was no reason for her to treat me like she did. We fought, I lost. But smothering me out in a snowbank like that was too far! When I lay her out, I’m going to show her just what it feels like to be at somebody’s mercy!”

Adriana unrepentant. “If didn’t want to be smothered, perhaps she should have won! I have nothing to worry about from her.”

Rinposts-in-sand ring. Gunmetal bandeau bikini for Kelly, white gloves, hair up in battle bun. Adriana in white triangle-cut bikini, black gloves, hair wet and slicked down.

R1: Adriana bending at the waist, head low and trying to rotate up out of the crouch with hooks., Kelly loose-limbed, right hand at her chest, left across her stomach, twisting into clouting side to side power shots, disdaining a jab in an effort to get Lima in trouble early. Thick two-way punching, but Adriana getting the better of it, riding back with Kelly’s right hand, taking the edge off it, then jamming back a stubby right to the chest, and that whipsaw left hook off the jaw. Rohrbach butt in the ropes late, not answering back as Lima plugs gut with shoving leather to the bell.

R2: Adriana cutting inside again, setting up her hook with rolling upper body movement, getting firm clouts on Kelly's jaw. Rohrbach stepping in lefts and rights wide, finishing up close on Lima in slinging trade, Even till late--girls turn into simultaneous walloping hooks and Adriana knees buckle. Lima wide totters back on her heels, minces forward a few steps--she's hurt and Rohrbach wades in. Kelly with her slinging, walking barrage, clouting lefts and rights clobbers Adriana to the ropes, brunette shipping groggy at the bell.

R3: Adriana knows she can’t box with Kelly, so she’s not trying, forward behind aggressive walking barrage of rights and lefts—temporarily disorganizing the blonde. Rohrbach jogging away to open up the sand, then starts piecing out her jab, slide-stepping to walk Lima onto the poke, regains control in a tense middle minute as brunette deploys a high blocking guard to defend against Kelly’s stick. Final minute—Rohrbach focusing on Lima’s tummy—cramming home right/left loud and raunchy, then pushing off to disengage.

R4: Adriana's not having it. Kelly trying to bully older vixen, Lima standing her ground, just lowering her head and going at her blonde. Rohrbach stepping out, circling, showing cranky expression: Adriana back over to offence, gets that frisky jab back on Kelly, hounding her in retreat. Rohrbach able to step away from trouble and manage Lima's exuberance for the most part - but the brunette IS extending on long, spearing right hands sloped down into Kelly’s sternum, punching a grimace onto the blonde's pretty face at times.

R5: Kelly hurts Adriana with a sneaky, screened right hand off a clever feint, brunette sent clattering to ropes. THICK body work on clean up, Rohrbach popping hips, really strapping at Lima's waist, then pushing her into ropes to reset for the next stroke. Final minute, Adriana gasping, but refusing to bend the knee: slugging-with, she slams a left to Kelly's waist; claps the right upside the head and BLONDE goes wobbly butt! Rohrbach stumbling in fence post holes, Lima mops her brows, staggers forward. Bashing, crude lefts and rights beats Kelly’s head and shoulders, clobbering her to ropes. Rohrbach howling, covering up face in gloves: there's Lima gnawing on blonde ribs, lashing away robusto to gut out a draw.

R6: Adriana bobbing her head, ripping left hooks as she straightens up. Kelly disrupted: the more disorganized she gets, the more the fight opens up: brawling ensues. Middle minute: looping exchanges - girls dippin' and twistin', hauling wide, strapping licks onto the foe. Lima sweeps a right hand - misses: Rohrbach answers a looping sidearm right, kissing the right temple and ADDY'S ROCKED! Lima stumbles forward, Rohrbach steps out, starts to reorganize her legs, roaming to her right, pricking swift jabs to face, blonde girl touching her brunette with pep. LOOPING RIGHT HAND, KELLY ROHRBACH! Adriana clapped upside the noggin...she blunders to her left, stricken, turns to her right, trips over her own feet and BOUNCES TO HER BUNS! Kelly crying out "YES!" Lima gingerly pulling herself up for ragged 8. ON COMES ROHRBACH! Sharp, straight, left/rights up the middle, bouncing Adriana's guard off her face! Lima’s turning her left side into ropes in swooning earmuff! Rohrbach leaning in close, left hand braced atop the ledge of Adriana's sand-whitened buttocks while CHOPPING in short, hacking right hands. Savage KO-lust; right hand pitchin' from the shoulder in little hammer drops, buns shuddering side to side - Kelly's right foot well back, anchoring the barrage. LIMA'S TAKING! Ref leaning in, about to stop it: BELL! Adriana rolling back-to-ropes in wonder, Kelly SEETHING, glaring at her foe, and DRAWING RIGHT THUMB ACROSS THROAT! Vicious gesture draws shocked gasps from crowd - Rohrbach snarling, body trembling from adrenaline rush, SO CLOSE to finishing Lima!

R7: Kelly still willing to close and work, but she's not pushing in - preferring to get off, slide-step out and walk Adriana into extra punishment. Rohrbach showcasing that limber, cuffing hook wide to Lima's ears - then jolting the chopping right hand off the pate/shrugging left uppercut to chin in close. Adriana trudging into hurt, ignoring it: she's taking 2 or 3 for the chance to lash one thick body shot into Kelly's ribs.

R8: Adriana still punch-groggy, but executing, pushes her jab into Kelly's guard, positioning her, then lashing a slanting right hand down into bronzed blonde midsection. Lima forward - pushy left jab enough to keep Rohrbach covered up. Adriana able to place hard right hands - leaning into 'em, shoulder behind 'em - straight down into the breadbasket to get Kelly ropeside. Pushing her left shoulder into Rohrbach's chest, going at her big-girl: Lima with the left hand at her waist, right at her shoulder, executing brilliant bump-and-slug as blonde mopes on the ropes, face-in-gloves. Adriana really cleaning up on paunch and flank, Kelly groaning, has to take a knee to relieve the suffocating pressure. Lima prowling the neutral corner - face badly lumped up, legs trembling, but she's smelling blood in the water. Achy 8 Rohrbach, she lolls in the ropes, obviously distressed, covering up face-in-gloves as Adriana wades back in. Sumptuous, thumping beat down: Lima in wide stance, pivoting in her hips to pull the hardest rights and lefts she possibly can into the firm meat of Rohrbach’s flanks and tummy. Rude, bumping shoulder-work props a slumping Kelly up, Adriana edging back to give herself room to punch, easing the blonde into extra hurt. Body blows, uppercuts, walloping shots on the ears – Rohrbach slouching forward, eating it all - Lima stepping back in good order and KELLY GOES DOWN! Rohrbach collapsing face-first to the sand, hands underneath her at her chest and tummy and IT'S OVER! Good lord - Adriana pounds out a sweltering come-from-behind KO8 to jump back into the lightweight title picture!

After: With the final piece of the Body Saddle Tournament about to be announced, A victorious Lima was inevitably going to be bodysaddling Kelly. And so she does. It’s absolutely what we’ve come to expect from her, Adriana leaning back in the saddle, ankles on Kelly’s shoulders, driving her blonde into the surf. Yet more salt-stains added to the most marked up saddle in the FCBA. And yet again, Adriana has the body saddle removed as she holds Kelly in place with a long leg atop her bum, than shoves the exhausted Rohrbach onto her back, leaving her sprawled in the surf, to spent to get out of the waves as they splash over her again and again, Lima not even looking back as she makes her way to the showers, waving to the crowd of onlookers.
