"It is with a deep regret that I announce my retirement, effective immediately.  It is now apparent that I can no longer compete with the top talent in the division.  It is equally apparent that Olivia and Camila CAN.  There is only so many spaces on cards and PPVs and that space, and the time to prepare, is better used on these two top talents.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Odds & Ends, and have no regrets from my time here or my choice to leave."

               - statement from Sarah Shahi, July 4, 2018

Olivia Holt’s blood was boiling as she stormed through the beach. Heart racing and head pounding, unable to get the sight out of her mind. How could that happen to her stablemate, her mentor, her friend? Olivia was enraged, just trying to calm herself down, but knowing that was futile as she searched for some way to vent her anger. Holt swore if she ran into Vanessa Hudgens right now, she would slap the taste out of her mouth, but better yet, she ran into the real source of her enmity as she heard Danielle Campbell and Shay Mitchell laughing as they stepped out of their changing area.

Olivia’s head was buzzing and she could barely make out what they were saying, but she could hear their annoying laughter and she just KNEW she heard the word ‘Sarah.’ Before she could stop herself and not that she really wanted to, Holt jumped around the corner as she roared out “Keep her name out of your mouth, Campbell!”

Obviously, both Danielle and Shay were headed out to celebrate as they were wearing cocktail dresses - Shay a dark blue and Danielle clad in a midnight black leather skirt with white blouse. Olivia for that matter was wearing a little black dress of her own as tonight was SUPPOSED to have been a night of celebration. Perhaps it still could be.

Olivia was face to face with Danielle Campbell, visibly shaking as she clenched her hands into fists at her side while Campbell’s face registered confusion, “What are you talking about?”

“You know d*** well what I’m talking about, Danni…” Olivia shouted, “You know what you did to Sarah and you’re going to freaking apologize right now.”

“Shahi?” Danielle responded coolly, “I beat her if that’s what you’re talking about. But, we all knew that was going to happen, right, Shay?” Mitchell grins, giving her younger stablemate a fist bump as the two of them winked at each other. This, of course, only further incensed Olivia - not that it would take much to do so right now.

“She’s RETIRING!” Olivia practically screamed, “Surely you’ve heard about it? She’s retiring - ALL - BECAUSE - OF - YOU!” Holt was getting louder with each word, but didn’t care as she waited for the inevitable apology from Campbell, but it was clear that wasn’t going to happen.

“Maybe it was her time, you know, Livy?” Danielle said with a smile, “It happens to the best of us but between you and I, Sarah wasn’t the…”

What Sarah was or wasn’t won’t be clear as Olivia determined it wasn’t likely to be complementary and charged her foe, regardless of the cocktail dresses, as she SLAMMED into her. The two of them tumbled down into the sand, cursing and clawing at one another as Shay Mitchell looked down at them, trying to step out of the way for the moment until she could figure out the best way to separate them.

Before she could, however, around the corner came Claire Holt, who was saying “Olivia - are you here - we’re almost all ready to go…?” But her words trailed off as she witnessed Holt on top of Campbell, just slapping at her furiously. Eyes travel to her stablemate to Shay, back to her stablemate and then back to Shay. History wins out between these two as Claire in a red strapless dress of her own just lunges into her rival but the two of them don’t go down in surprise quite so easily. Both Shay and Claire staying up, shouting loudly at one another as they slap and try to take each other down to the sand.

Their loud shouts attract the attention of Hayley Orrantia and Natalie Alyn Lind, both of whom were nearby searching for their stablemates, but have been familiar with one another from The Goldbergs and it appears rumors of friction between the two on set appear to be pretty well-founded as Natalie just pounces forward with an impromptu dropkick that sends Hayley hurtling down onto the sand with a thud!

The sound of the impact brings Camille Kostek and Courtney Tailor coming in hot and it’s no surprise with their respective potential JMDD ambitions that they crash forward into one another cleavage-first. Neither of them backing down, bodies attempting to bully each other backwards under the hot sun, talons tearing into blonde tresses as they cry out angrily. Bo Krsmanovic comes barreling in, but is tackled by Tahnee Atkinson as they roll around on the sand in the middle of what has quickly escalated into a stable wide brawl. Tahnee manages to get on top of Bo, straddling her back as she yanks her hair backwards and thumps her face down into the sand to daze her.

The sounds can’t escape the notice of the media and the crowd, who were leaving after an already wild event, but now get to see a bonus brawl between some of the toughest girls in the FCBA - which may well lead to another event in the future between these two proud stables. For now, it’s just a matter of seeing whether anybody will separate them and at the moment, nobody seems inclined to do so.

Right in the middle of it all is Danielle and Olivia, who are just working on pulling off their rival’s cocktail dresses - much to the encouragement of the crowd as they slap at exposed face, tummy and tit at every opportunity. The two of them can’t seem to stop attacking one another as people look around for security or the refs, but for once, they are nowhere to be found. Instead, other roster members from around the FCBA appear to have been drawn to this spot - either by some internal radar for catfights or from the loud roars of the crowd.

Kate Upton steps in to try to yank off Tahnee Atkinson from Bo, but is only partially successful as Adriana Lima jumps in to slam her palms into Upton’s cleavage to knock her backwards. It’s enough to give Krsmanovic a chance to escape as she topples her Aussie tormentress off of her, sending Tahnee rolling to the side right into Nina Agdal. Nina reaches down to yank Tahnee to her feet, but finds herself knocked to the side by a screeching Kate and Adriana, who are each punching at other’s abs with wild abandon. Tahnee staggers free of Agdal’s clutches, but is SPEARED to the sand by a freshly freed Bo who tackles her and immediately scrambles to straddle her foe. Nina looks to lunge forward to batter Bo, but trips over Adriana Lima who has been kicked away from Kate on the sand. Both Lima and Upton roll to their knees, but Nina goes to yank on Adriana’s hair from behind to get on top and Kate gets kicked from behind by a furious Sophie Turner. It’s a maelstrom as many of the contenders for the upcoming Body Saddle tournament pile on for a chance at the Queen: Rihanna, Anllella Sagra, and Chimera’s Blake Lively & Charlize Theron get involved as does…Emily Van Camp? Pure insanity as many of these girls are seeking the Queen, but don’t seem to discriminate as they just look to smother or scissor whoever gets in their way. Trust us - there is a lot of smothering & scissoring.

By now, security and referees were attempting to make their way to the brawl, but found their progress impeded by the crowd. In the meantime, they were joined by none other than Vanessa Hudgens, who zeroed in on Olivia Holt, who had made her way to her feet along with Danielle Campbell. Danielle and Olivia both had shed their cocktail dresses and were now in their bra & panties (purple for Olivia and black for Danielle). Their taut bodies were also covered in sand, sweat, scratch marks and varying shades of bruising.

Vanessa went forward to hopefully humiliate Holt more, but was clotheslined by none other than Lily Collins. Bullied down to the sand by the hated Brit as Collins sneered down for a moment before launching kicks into Hudgens’ proud midriff. Jessica Lowndes comes charging in, but is intercepted by Megan Fox and Emma Watson has her legs tugged out from underneath her by Cheryl Cole. As Cheryl tries to scramble on top of Emma, she is tackled to the side by Jenna Coleman. Emma Watson tries to get up, but finds herself shoved back down by Miley Cyrus.

Rachel McAdams wades in to try to restore order, but finds herself in a shouting match with Troian Bellisario. Given the hatred between the two, it doesn’t take long for those two to start kicking at each other with their proud legs. Yvonne Strahovski and Mary Elizabeth Winstead come in, but they fare no better as they immediately start screaming at each other to apologize, but neither of them are in a forgiving mood.

The refs and security staff have finally made their way into the midst of what can only be described as madness, as they look around to witness a number of the brawls that have already been witnessed and more forming by the minute. Margot Robbie wanders by, stepping into the fray and is immediately tackled down to the sand to the jubilation of the audience by Demi Lovato. Nina Dobrev versus Kira Kosarin, Demi Rose versus Hayden Panettiere, Sarah Carter versus Selena Gomez, Minka Kelly versus Emily Ratajkowski and as the refs saw Hayley Atwell and Georgia Mae Gibbs lunging into the craziness, they knew things were spiraling out of control. One ref swore that they could see Michelle Williams, arms folded, on the outside, apparently nodding approvingly as the spark started by Olivia and Danielle had spread into a wildfire.

One that it would take a small army of referees and security staff to douse as they swarmed over the brawl, repeatedly calling for backup as more and more staff were needed to separate the stables already involved and prevent other stablemates from joining in to “help.” None of the other stablemates were inclined to try to calm things down, but only served to rile things up from the outside as they called out encouragement and insults.

Each time they managed to separate two combatants, such as Vanessa and Lily, the two charged at one another immediately at once and it took several more staff to restrain them forcibly so that they had to be led completely away from the brawl. This process had to be frequently repeated, with the owners of respective stables being called to control their roster. Even worse, sometimes, as they shoved fighters out of the circle, they were placed next to another rival - for example, when they managed to get Demi Lovato out, but placed her next to Nina Dobrev, who blamed her for her ouster from Lookout! Boxing. Just like that - another brawl was born, which led to other brawls like Lily Aldrige tripping Anlella Sagra to the sand or an impromptu flyweight feud between Lily Collins and Lucy Hale, who had arrived late. Renewed efforts had to be spent, but finally the second wave of brawls were finally separated, even with the “help” of latecomers like Sasha Pieterse, Ashley Greene or Alice Goodwin.

Then, they were able to focus on the last remaining brawls, such as Adriana Lima trying to do her best to smother out Kate Upton, Shay Mitchell engaged in a scissoring brawl against Claire Holt or Yvonne Strahovski and Mary Elizabeth Winstead just brawling away. Tahnee and Bo are battling to the finish, Hayley and Natalie are taking turns on top, with Courtney and Camille trying to introduce the other to their cleavage. One by one, some of these intense brawls are separated, with significant risk to life and limb by the referees and security staff, but it really comes down now to Olivia and Danielle.

The entire brawl has not abated their fury as well as they are both now clad in bra and panties, chests heaving and snarling as they both screamed at one another. Both were taunting, making demands of one another that neither of them were inclined or able to meet at this time as things grew increasingly intense between them. Both of them were rolling around repeatedly, doing their best to scissor, smother, slap and just hurt each other any way they could. It was all the referees could do to keep up, but in the end, they managed to take advantage of a brief momentary of breathlessness after a near smother attempt by Olivia on Danielle. Wrenching the two of them apart, kicking and screaming, security forces deposited the two of them with their respective stables.

Still, there were a few more attempts to initiate brawls again, which were met by a wall of referees, numerous threats of fines, suspensions and other such punishments, which did not have the desired effect on the various stables until finally, Sarah Shahi came by. A meaningful hug was exchanged between Sarah and Olivia, with the two whispering for a few minutes before finally, Olivia and the rest of the Odds & Ends staff finally left for the evening. It didn’t take long for the rest of the stables to leave after that, then the crowd was able to dissipate and then the media was able to depart - with clearly plenty to report on. A hugely successful 4th of July event, a massive brawl, a potential retirement and certainly NO shortage of upcoming matches to report on as the month of July, already shaping up to be a big one, is off to a good start with plenty of fireworks.

As if on cue or perhaps signaled by some FCBA staff member that it was finally time, the sky did light up with literal fireworks to follow the figurative ones that had just occurred. Although the various stables witnessed the show, they did keep their distance from one another as the refs and security got a well-deserved break too. At this point, the FCBA was halfway through the year and it’s clear that not only was the second half of the year off to a stellar start, but that it would be just as wild as the first - if not more so!

Happy Independence Day to everybody in the league - the managers, the media, the fighters and fans alike!!!
