Jenna Coleman vs. Jessica Lowndes(Words: Front Street / Results: Lookout!)

BEFORE:

Not much mystery about this one, two hard-hitting, busty brunettes who aren't exactly likely to spend the evening doing the jab and circle routine. And, with the success both women have had, the pre-fight confidence is to be expected. "I'm the Alpha Lioness," says Jessica with a smile. "Now, some people might not think that means much outside of LCA, but it DOES. It means I'm EXPECTED to come out here and clean up girls like Jenna. And, that's exactly what I'm going to do."

"She's only Alpha ANYTHING because she's at LCA," says Jenna with a sneer. "At Lookout! she'd be carrying water buckets."

ROUND ONE:

No. Mystery. Ladies get to it right away, meeting in the center and making with the leather. Both very aggressive to both head and body...BOOM! Short right hook from Coleman and Lowndes is HURT! Jessica stumbling, nearly going down as the English beauty lets the hands go, hammers her back into the ropes and the begins purchasing on-sale body in bulk club quantities. Lowndes taking a pounding to flanks and midsection, but keeping the guard up, trying to ride out the early storm. Coleman GOES RACK, thumping away at the Canadian's bust line. Jessica tightening the elbows, trying to protect the contents of her bra cups. UPPERCUT, Jenna! Lowndes' legs shimmy and the Canadian clinches for dear life. Referee looking in. Final seconds ticking down. Coleman tenderizing meat right to the bell, pushes up off punished Lioness and sashays to the corner while a chastened Lowndes stares daggers at her back. Jenna wide in the first.

ROUND TWO:

Coleman after Lowndes immediately, but the Canadian grimly stands ground and fires back. Jenna fine with it, banging away with both hands, certain she'll eventually get the better of things. But. She doesn't. Jessica's able to solidify her front and fight on even terms. Result is a two-way slugfest that sees both women work hard to head and body, landing plenty of hard shot. Nothing sloppy, though. These are good, veteran fighters and there's plenty of nice, subtle defense on display. Punches are slipped and rolled with, caught on shoulders and gloves. But, there's lots of leather being thrown, so there's still plenty getting through and not much in it into the last thirty seconds of the round. Over that final half minute, though, Jessica manages to separate with a series of nice combinations. Not by much. But by enough. At the bell, it's Lowndes close and we're even at 19.

ROUND THREE:

Brunettes right back to work. They've been after one another since the opening seconds, and nothing's changed. Both fighters confident of being able to wear down the other with barrage after barrage of heavy leather. And, someone's probably right. The question is...BOOM! There's that right hand from Coleman again and Lowndes is HURT! Jessica's legs do a shimmy again and RIGHT UPPERCUT, JENNA! DOWN goes Lowndes! Canadian dropped to her back. British beauty fairly BOUNCES to a neutral corner to watch and wait. Lowndes shaking her head back and forth, trying to clear it. Rolls to her belly at six. Manages to push to her feet at nine. Ref gives her the mandatory...thinks about it...waives Jenna forward. CARNAGE! Coleman all in, absolutely abusing a nearly helpless Jessica. Lowndes covering. Clinching. Trying anything to run clock. Ref looking in, ready to pounce, but the bell beats him to it. Lowndes hangs on. But, it's 10-8 Coleman, and Jenna's on the lead 29-27.

ROUND FOUR:

Coleman going to town early. Lowndes still wobbly, and the Brit determined to end this thing right now. Jessica backing and covering, countering in spots, working hard to stay off the ropes. Coleman concentrating upstairs, but going both body and rack enough to keep the Canadian honest. It's grim stuff for Lowndes, who's just trying to limit damage until she's got the legs back under her. For Coleman, it's MAJESTIC stuff. She's got everything rolling and she's getting a LOAD of hard shot on target, and each piece of leather that lands further diminishes her game but hurting opponent. BOOM! DOWN GOES COLEMAN! It's so out of the blue that many watching think it's a slip. It's not. It's a perfectly-timed right hand counter from Lowndes and Coleman's dropped to her back! Crowd going nuts as Jessica goes slowly to a neutral corner. Jenna, stunned, looking up at the ref as the numbers get larger. Like the Canadian in the last round, she recovers just in time, gets to her feet at nine, takes the mandatory, then covers up as Lowndes lets the hands go for the final twenty seconds of the round. When the bell rings, Jenna's on the ropes getting thumped, and Lowndes has not only stolen the round but won it 10-8 to even the fight at 37.

ROUND FIVE:

Lowndes cleaning up. She's all over Jenna right from the start of the round. Coleman still clearly buzzed with iffy legs, and Jessica taking full advantage. She's working head and body, then SLAMMING shot into rack, bringing groans from the lovely Brit. Lowndes brutal, hammering away, driving her rival back into the ropes and then having at her. It's all about the body now, as Jessica tenderizes every piece of meat she can find. Coleman keeping the gloves up, elbows tight to try to protect the bust line, firing back in spots, doing just enough to keep the referee from stopping it. And, the fact that he DOESN'T stop it simply allows Lowndes more time to punish Jenna to the body. By the final minute, Jessica's barely doing anything to the head. Instead, she's slamming leather into the flanks, midsection and rack again and again until, mercifully, the bell ends things. Shutout, Lowndes. Jessica up 47-46 at the half.

ROUND SIX:

Jessica looking a little spent as the sixth begins. Lots of energy used in the last two rounds, and it's catching up to the Alpha Lioness. Coleman, though, in no better shape. Jenna still wobbly and still giving ground and staying on the defensive early. As the round goes on, Brit firms up and begins fighting on even terms. She's getting back in rhythm, doing a little boxing, taking advantage of a slowed Lowndes. Jessica goes to the defensive, willing to let Jenna fight lead so that she can get that second wind. Coleman willing to do that. She makes up the early stagger by the final minute, and, boxing well and carefully, begins to pull ahead. Lowndes knows what's happening, but either can't or won't do anything about it. Instead, she remains on the counter right to the bell. It's close, but it's Jenna, who's evened things up at 56.

ROUND SEVEN:

Coleman determined to stay on the lead, but Lowndes' little foray into counter-punching is over. Canadian has the wind back and is firing back in kind...BOOM! There's that right hand from Coleman again! Brit's found something there and Lowndes' future opponents are going to be looking closely at this video! Canadian all a-wobble as Jenna shoves all her chips into the center of the table. Coleman just REEFING punches as a gobsmacked Jessica. Lowndes bundled quickly to the ropes, where her rival gets to work. Body. Head. RACK. Jessica taking a hammering to all three spots as the referee watches closely. Ref's been pretty lenient in these situations so far, and continues to be. Coleman getting a TON of leather home, and Lowndes not doing a lot, but doing enough. Final seconds see a VICIOUS right to the belly that doubles up the Canadian, but, before Coleman can follow up, the bell rings. Shutout, Jenna. Coleman 66-65.

ROUND EIGHT:

Things getting grim for the Alpha Lioness. Jenna on the march, walking her wobbly rival down, beating her up. Lowndes showing plenty of grit, plenty of want-to, but she's in reverse and Coleman's keeping her there. Jenna digging body at every opportunity, knowing she's reduced the Canadian and brought her to the edge of collapse. Minute and a half in. BOOM! Right hook, LOWNDES! Jessica gets the feet set and lands a short hook to the chin that sends Coleman's hands dropping and her legs shaking. Ref moving, but too late. RIGHT-HAND, JESSICA and DOWN GOES JENNA! A defenseless Coleman blown to her back by the Canadian. Lowndes rumblin', stumblin', fumblin' to a neutral corner. Referee counting over Jenna, who's not moving at all. At eight, he decides it's all academic and waives it OFF! It's OVER! And your winner by KO8 is the Alpha Lioness, Jessica Lowndes!

AFTER:

Lowndes barely coherent after the fight. Clearly still buzzed, lips swelling, mumbling, "I'm better than her. I told you. I'm better than her." Over and over until she's gently led away from the microphones and back to the locker room.
