Alessandra Ambrosio versus Doutzen Kroes

Intro:
The battle of two top supermodels is up next, the current BBU
lightweight champion Alessandra Ambrosio meets a former BBU
lightweight champion in Doutzen Kroes on this years Independence Day
PPV.
Alessandra is 37 years old; stands 5'9 ½ and holds a record of 26
wins, all by knockout and 6 defeats, she is the current BBU
lightweight champion.
Doutzen is 33 years old; stands 5'10 and holds a record of 12 wins, 11
by knockout and 6 defeats, she is a former BBU lightweight champion.
The fighters were interviewed at their gym, with Alessandra speaking
first; sitting in the stable office with the BBU title on her right
shoulder as she talks to the press.
"If you have seen me and Doutzen then you know we are friends, but
even as friends; we both want to be the best and if that means beating
each other up, well so be it" says a serious looking Alessandra.
She adds "the funny thing is that I hold what Doutzen would love back,
*pointing at the BBU title* this is what made her career in the BBU,
now I hold it and I know if she beats me here, she will be straight
back over to the BBU offices to demand a shot, so this has added
meaning for me to show Doutzen no mercy in our match"
Alessandra finishes her statement with "one last thing; I want to make
it clear that whatever happens between me and Doutzen, I don't want it
to end our friendship, I respect her and have been lucky to get to
know her through our modeling, but this is business"
Doutzen meanwhile finishes working the speed bag, wiping herself down
with a towel as she tells the press "you guys should try that
sometime, it isn't as easy as it looks" winking as she looks in a
great mood.
"I'll be honest; I never expected me and Alessandra to ever come to
real blows, but the more I have thought about it the past month, the
more it has made sense it would happen, we are two big strong women
who want to be the best, so it we had to fight someday to prove we are
the best" continues Doutzen.
Before she finishes with "so Alessandra babe, you better bring your
best because I am here to prove I am the best in the world and that
means beating you" banging her gloves together, she smiles as she gets
back to working out.
Fight night; out comes Alessandra with Taryn Terrell and Eva Carneiro
by her side, she gives the crowd a little samba action at the top of
the ramp, before jogging down to the ring with a big smile to her
face.
Her Attire tonight is a black sports bra with gold trim and "AA" in
gold letters on her left cup, black trunks with a gold waistband, gold
coloured gloves and black shoes, her brunette hair is braided.
Stepping into the ring; Alessandra waves to the fans as she jogs
around the inside of the ring, settling into her corner and starting
her warm up.
Now out comes Doutzen, she has her coach Nicole Ritchie by her side,
she looks excited as she heads to the ring, punching on her way to
limber up.
Her attire is an orange sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, she has
white gloves on, her blonde hair is also braided.
Climbing into the ring; Doutzen quickly bows to each side of the ring,
before settling into her own corner, warming up with help from Nicole.
The fighters come to the ring centre, their eyes are locked in an
intense stare, right now all they can do is think of the other as an
enemy instead of friend.
Asked to touch gloves; respectfully they do as told, wishing each
other a good fight before they jog to their corners, ready to begin 10
rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters; both trading single punches as they circle,
measuring each other up as Doutzen has the slight reach advantage,
allowing her to land the cleaner punches.
It isn't long till both come on the inside to trade, going toe to toe
as any doubts that these two wouldn't go all out has been thrown out.
Both grunting and groaning as they go back and forth, feeling the
power that each has as neither is a light puncher to say the least.
Alessandra surprises Doutzen by leaning out the way of a right hook
and lands two punches squarely on the face of the Dutch fighter.
The Brazilian fighter starting to push the pace as Doutzen covers up,
Alessandra smacking her punches off the gloves or forearms of Kroes.
Doutzen tries to fire back with a right cross, it finds more air as
Alessandra dances back and counters with a straight off the nose of
her opponent.
Late in the round as Alessandra has Doutzen herded around the ring,
she misses with a left cross as Doutzen dips under and comes up with
an uppercut that knocks Alessandra onto her heels.
The bell rings to end the round with both girls bumping a glove
together to show respect, Alessandra though has to be the happier
after taking control of the round through the middle part.
Round 2:
Both fighters start off with their jabs, measuring each other up as
they circle, till Alessandra tries to step in with a straight that
gets parried away and gets caught with a right across her nose.
Alessandra cries out and finds herself being shoved back towards the
ropes; Doutzen using her left to keep the guard of her opponent up to
the top, with her right banging away at the body of Ambrosio.
Who shoves Doutzen back and tries to get back at the Dutch fighter,
but Doutzen shows off her flexibility to duck and dodge the punches
from Alessandra.
Doutzen catches Alessandra with an uppercut that knocks her onto her
heels, Doutzen drives Alessandra towards a corner.
Where she busts the bottom lip of Alessandra with a right across them,
Doutzen gets clinched up by Alessandra as the fighters grapple.
The referee separates them and the reminder of the round sees
Alessandra boxing off her back foot, Doutzen continues to be
aggressive as she hunts down her opponent.
The bell rings with Alessandra shouting "f***!" As she heads to her
corner, with Doutzen not looking too pleased by that reaction, though
she allows herself a smile as she sits down and Nicole praises her for
a great round.
Round 3:
Doutzen looks to keep the pressure on Alessandra, drilling her jab
into the face of the Brazilian, with a right hook just missing
Alessandra's cheek.
As Doutzen pushes forwards; Alessandra dips under a straight and lands
an overhand left, followed by an uppercut that shoves Doutzen onto the
back foot.
The tables turning as Doutzen is the one forced to fight near the
ropes, Alessandra following her around the ring with her punches
smacking off the gloves of Kroes.
Who swings a wild right to try and catch Alessandra out; it misses as
Alessandra steps back in time, Ambrosio landing a straight and a quick
left/right cross combo off the face of her opponent.
That leads to Alessandra forcing Doutzen onto the ropes, she works
with her head down and her punches working the body of Doutzen.
Who now clinches up with Alessandra, the friends rub heads as they try
and wrestle the other onto the ropes, the referee breaking them apart.
With seconds ticking away; they go toe to toe in a grandstand finish
to the round, when the bell rings, they stare at each other hard
before heading past each other to their corners.
Both corners know now that both women are very similar, the fighters
getting washed down as they chat away with their coaches.
Round 4:
Both women are keen to get inside early on, trading body punches as
they rub heads, the referee keeps warning them to their heads up.
As they separate; Doutzen starts to use her reach more, maybe
realising that staying on the inside is going to lead to another
stalemate.
Alessandra getting caught too cleanly on her bloody lips for her
coaches liking, Alessandra missing with a left cross as she tries to
close the distance, paying for it with two punches snapping her head
back.
Doutzen starting to control the action as she lands the cleaner
punches on the face of Alessandra, landing a right across the lips of
her opponent to make her cry out and hide behind her guard.
But as Doutzen tries to drive Alessandra towards the ropes, Alessandra
slips under a right and drills in two stiff body shots to make the
blonde move back.
Now Alessandra comes fighting back, landing a left hook that turns
Doutzen's face, allowing her to drive Kroes back towards the ropes.
Late in the round; Doutzen parries a right and moves into space, both
landing single punches as they circle in the final few seconds.
The round ends with the Lookout corner looking happy, Nicole wiping
down Doutzen as tells her "keep out boxing her babe, she is there for
the taking as she can't box with you"
Alessandra meanwhile winces as her mouth is getting cleaned up, Taryn
giving her a pep talk as Alessandra looks up at her, stealing glances
at Doutzen with an angry stare.
Round 5:
Doutzen again relies on her movement, controlling the pace early as
she keeps Alessandra to the outside with her punches landing to the
face of the Brazilian.
The lips of Alessandra keeps getting caught by Doutzen, who looks to
drive Alessandra back towards the ropes, two punches land around the
guard of her opponent.
But as she looks to push Alessandra the rest of the way, Doutzen gets
hit by a jab and an uppercut that knocks her head back.
Alessandra shoves Doutzen to unbalance her and cracks her across the
face with two hooks as she is knocking her opponent across the ring.
Doutzen covers up as her back touches the ropes, cameras catch that
she has blood running from her lips now as Alessandra works the body.
The blonde now clinches with Alessandra, both fighters take a moment
to lean on each other and take a breath, till the referee breaks them
up.
Once they resume fighting; Alessandra parries a left cross to step in
with a jab and a right cross to knock Doutzen onto her heels.
The older fighter begins to bully Doutzen onto the ropes; with Doutzen
covering up as her coach shouts at her to fight back.
The round ends with Alessandra taking a deep breath and smiling as she
jogs back to her corner, Eva cleaning her lips up as she sits and
listens to Taryn telling her to smash Doutzen.
Who sits on her stool looking annoyed, Doutzen winces as her lips are
being worked on, Nicole tells her "fight smarter!"
Round 6:
Both women starting off circling early on; Doutzen again looks the
happier in these exchanges, keeping Alessandra aimed towards the ropes
with her head hunting punches.
Till Alessandra slips under a straight and lands an overhand right
across the temple of Doutzen, whose legs do visible shake as she steps
back.
Alessandra comes on strong; bashing Doutzen through her mitts to her
face with a flurry of punches that knock her towards the ropes.
When Doutzen tries to fight back; SHE MISSES WITH A WILD RIGHT AND
ALESSANDRA SMACKS HER WITH AN UPPERCUT THAT SENDS HER TO HER BACK ON
THE CANVAS!
Alessandra jogs over to a neutral corner with her eyes firmly locked
onto Doutzen, 1...2...3...4 who holds her chin and stares up at the
lights 5...6 before turning to her front and crawling towards the
ropes, 7...8...9 pulling herself up with the ropes, Doutzen beats the
count with a little stumble.
The referee let's the action continue; Doutzen looks to box off the
back foot as she flicks her jab out and moves back.
But Alessandra parries the jab and lands a right hook that turns
Doutzen's head; THE GUARD OF KROES OPENS UP AND AMBROSIO BEATS HER
BACK ONTO THE ROPES, POUNDING THE FACE OF HER OPPONENT TILL THE
REFEREE STEPS IN TO STOP THE FIGHT!

Winner Alessandra Ambrosio TKO Round 6

After:
Alessandra straight away nudges the referee aside so she can hug
Doutzen, who hugs Alessandra back; even as it looks like the ropes and
Alessandra are the only things keeping her up.
Nicole comes over and with Alessandra's help, they get Doutzen back to
her corner to clean her up and patch her lips up.
The crowd applauds the sportswomanship in the ring, as Alessandra
heads back to her corner to get cleaned up herself.
The Girls Friday crew looking ecstatic, especially as Taryn tells
Alessandra "that's one less worry for you, now nobody can claim
Doutzen deserves a shot at you"
Alessandra doesn't look pleased by that comment from her coach,
replying "Doutzen will always be good enough to have a shot at a
title, I need to keep being good enough to beat her because she is
that damn good" with Taryn saying sorry as she sees it wasn't a smart
thing to say.
Soon the fighters come to the ring centre, Alessandra gets her hand
raised by the referee as Doutzen applauds her, before the fighters
embrace, giving their all in the fight but glad to still be friends.
Even as they both joke they won't be kissing their other halves when
they get home tonight, laughing as they chat away.
Till Doutzen tells Alessandra "I might want a rematch someday you
know" with Alessandra smiling and saying "whenever you want" shaking
hands on that promise.
Before Doutzen leaves the ring so Alessandra can have a moment with
the crowd, who give her a quick "Kroes!" Chant, with Doutzen blowing
them a kiss on her way to the back.
In the ring; Alessandra does a lap, waving to the fans and showing a
heart symbol with her hands when she reaches each corner.
Soon enough she leaves the ring, a big smile on her face as this month
couldn't have went better, beating Yvonne Strahovski in the BBU only a
few weeks ago and now beating Doutzen, so what's next for her?
