Mia Kang #130 (Fighting Academy) vs Margot Robbie #11 (Chimera) Result:Lookout/Words:simgrrl
Mia: (29yo, 5'10", 128#, 1-2-0) vs Margot: (28yo, 5'6", 118#, 18-12-0)
(#) June Bantam Rankings by "Boxing World Online"

Mia Kang, if you don't know, is a Chinese/Korean/British SI swimsuit model born in Hong Kong who lives in New York. She's new to FCBA (3 fights so far) and this is her first ring appearance since December 2017 - eight months ago. Despite the few fights, Kang is the #130 ranked bantam while Robbie most recent ranking is at #11.

Ultimate's Fighting Academy trainers, Kelly Hu and Sarah Michelle Gellar, told the media, "Don't underestimate Mia because of her record. She's trained in Muay Thai and is still getting used to the Western style. Ask any of the models who bullied her when she was a skinny 13 y/o kid if they want to try it again and I bet they suddenly remember they're late for an 'important appointment.' So don't sleep on Mia or you'll 'be sleepin' for certain."

Mia Kang has unusual prefight rituals she claims give her an edge over her opponents. In addition to juice-cleansing and increasing her cardio, she offered advice to other women fighters. "When females have sex, testosterone levels increase, so my recommendation is have as much sex as possible before a fight." Did we mention she's outspoken?! When asked for an opinion on blonde Aussie Margot Robbie, Mia gave her dark hair a flip and said, "The way to beat demons is with a full-frontal assault. Looking at that little blond girl, I just see another demon to beat."

Mia assured her fans, "My trainers and I pay special attention to my opponents weaknesses." Note the plural weaknesses, not weakness; making it clear Mia has found several ways to deal with the shorter blonde Australian. “Hopefully there won’t be any need for training as I’ll have knocked the b*tch out,” she laughs.

"You don't like Australians?" she was asked.

"I see very few Asian faces on mainstream TV in Australia. Watching it, you could be forgiven for thinking they're still bound by their 'White Australia' policy which, after all, wasn't disbanded until 1973."

Mia's certainly popular with the women in her own stable - either thanks to advising them to get a lot of sex before bouts, or her combative personality - and a lot of them are ringside showing their support, but Mia reminds them all, "In the ring, you're 100% alone."

Taylor Cole, Torrie Wilson, Gigi Hadid, Rachel Barnes and others are here for what is in effect, a mini- 3 fight stable war against Chimera with Amber Heard and Karlie Kloss each facing a Chimera opponent tonight. (We hope Tess Valmore will ask Amber and Karlie if THEY took Mia's sex advice when she interviews them at their post-fight press conferences!)

Margot Robbie, who's had as many stables as Kang's had fights (3) tried hard not to get sucked into responding to inflammatory quotes attributed to Mia by the media, and at first she took the high road. "I'm taking this one for the team," she replied, when asked about facing a bigger, heavier, fighter as part of Chimera's impromptu 'stable war'. "Blake was committed to Heard; Lawrence is too heavy; Ryan's too old..." she giggled, "...and Theron, well, she's just too good."

"Mia's a tall gal; this's different than sparring with Blake or Charlize. This is real, that will make it a lot harder. This is my chance to show Stephanie, Jeri and that blond troll at Tractorpull I'm better than they think. I know I can compete at light and... well, Charlize isn't getting any younger. There'll be an opening sooner or later and I want to be positioned to make the move when the time comes."

But one interview took a serious swerve when Robbie was, sadly, unable to deflect some pointed questions sent her way. She tripped over her tongue after she was told Kang called her a "white demon" and predicted she'd "knock the b*tch out." Margot's face got red and she snapped angrily, "I'll break that stick woman in two and piss on the pieces!" She was quickly - and belatedly - pulled away from the microphones by Jeri Ryan, who was overheard telling her, "Way to go, kiddo. You just sold another thousand tickets!"

Kelly Hu and Sarah Michelle Gellar flank the towering figure of Mia Kang as she swaggers confidently toward the ring in a black one-piece (above) with black shoes and gloves; her dark hair in a French braid. As they reach the ring, Mia high-fives members of her stable sitting ringside, then climbs the stairs to the ring, slipping gracefully between the middle and top ropes.

Margot Robbie, wearing her Australian flag bikini (above), her blonde hair in a messy pony tail, walks alone in bare feet down to the ring where she's to join Chimera Trainer Jeri Ryan, asst. trainer Jennifer Connelly and corner woman Liz Hurley who are standing in the Chimera corner awaiting her.

Tonight's referee is an old fan favorite, Tylene Buck - former Paramount Middleweight Champ in 2000 who's taking a break from refereeing wrestling matches in Ohio to pick up some quick cash working prelims for the FCBA during the summer. Tylene gets the girls together mid-ring and is quickly aware there's a problem! Kang and Robbie each press forward, getting in the others face. Some unfortunate racial taunts are heard, followed by pushing and shoving but the former WWE star soon has things under her firm control. Good work by the ring veteran!
* * *
During Rd 1: Kang, a long, lean, Asian model, glides smoothly out of her corner, sets up center ring where she works behind a long, rangy left jab. Kang making the most of her almost 6" reach advantage over the much shorter Australian blonde, peppering Margot's face right from the opening bell, keeping the Aussie off balance, making Robbie pay a heavy price for her attempts to get close enough to land power shots to Mia's long body. Margot's face lumping up early, but she stubbornly continues trying to force her way inside where her shorter arms aren't at so much disadvantage. ROBBIE'S HURT! Mia banging a right off Margot's jaw, buckling her legs!
Kang swarming the hurting Aussie; turning her body into breath-taking rights to Robbie's body; banging the blondes head back with left hooks. It's all Kang the first round; Mia spearing Margot with either hand almost at will; the smaller blonde driven backward across the ring where she's stacked up in Kang's corner and taken to the "woodshed" by the tall Asian who gets to pick any place on Robbie's body to land punches - and land them she does!
At the end of the round, Margot Robbie slumping against the turnbuckles in Kang's corner, blocking Mia's handlers from inserting the stool. Mia takes matters in her own hands; grabbing Robbie by the shoulders and THROWING her to the middle of the ring to open a path to her stool. Robbie reeling drunkenly in shock to the safety of her corner as Mia cruises; taking the first round on points (wide!)

Rd 2: Ryan and Connelly working to resurrect their fighter. Fortunately, it's early and Robbie's a sturdy young woman with good recovery powers. Still, at the start of the second round, Margot's only back to about 80% of her usual self, so when the bell rings, she starts cautiously, hoping to keep away from Kang and stall long enough to recover all her faculties. But Mia has other ideas and her long legs quickly close the distance between them and she's easily able to corner Robbie, then begins to pound her from long range as Margot cowers against the turnbuckles; hands up protecting her face, her arms tucked in tight to her torso; blocks when she can and is hit when she can't!
MIA'S HURT! Kang stunned by a short uppercut by Robbie who looks as surprised as Kang by her unexpected success. Margot slow to take advantage but once she gets going, Robbie's fists land on Mia's lengthy expanse of unprotected body with regularity. Robbie pounds Kang back with left hooks, straight rights and uppercuts. KANG RAG-DOLLED BY A ROBBIE RIGHT! Mia almost swept onto her butt by an overhand right from the Aussie blonde bomber! Kang clinching; long, limber, arms wrapped tight about Margot's shoulders while Robbie bashes Mia's taut torso with both hands.
Final seconds difficult to watch for Kang's fans ringside, the thump of Robbie's gloves slamming into her Mia's shuddering body echo in the hushed arena as fans of both women sit biting their lips nervously - Mia's hoping she can weather the storm; Margot's praying she can end the fight right here and now! Mia wobbly, desperately hanging on with all her failing strength. Bell! Referee Buck jumps in, hugs Robbie and pulls her off of Kang who slumps back against the ropes as her handlers scramble thru the ropes to her rescue. Margot Robbie takes the points (wide) - but she didn't put Mia down!

Rd 3: Just like Robbie did after the first round, Kang shows her own outstanding recuperative abilities, standing and looking chipper before the bell. Each woman has felt the sting of the others power and they show admirable restraint in the opening minutes of the third stanza. Where earlier they each seemed eager to take the fight to her opponent, now they're wary of leaving themselves open to counter-punching so the pace slows dramatically. Fans, eager to see one or both being pummeled, voice their displeasure and by the midway point of the round, the raucous shouts and a few catcalls have the intended effect on the two fighters. Robbie is the first to open things up, dipping her shoulder and stepping in to a body combination that seems to wake Mia up. Kang quickly replies with a booming right hand that rocks Robbie back on her heels. The next thirty seconds or so delight the jaded fans who are finally getting the show they expected after the first two rounds; both women throwing huge right hands and doing damage!
The shorter blond, unable to trade with Mia at long range, forces her way in close to bang Kang's long torso with either hand, bringing her left hook in under Mia's right to bludgeon her flanks. Kang spearing Margot with her snapping jab as she approaches, often stopping Robbie's advance in her tracks, other times using it to set up her right which - when it lands - snaps Margot's head backward into a cloud of moisture that comes flying off her blond hair from the impact.
Margot's body attack putting miles on Mia's torso while Kang's long range bombs are rattling Margot's cage and keeping the blond from setting up inside and taking permanent residence in Mia's kitchen. All in all, an entertaining conclusion to what had begun as a boring round of boxing - one that finished with a flourish from Kang who high-stepped away with the points (close)

Rd 4: Margot's corner busy during the break, Ryan and Connelly breaking down Kang's style while Liz Hurley's busily icing Margot's eyebrows which are starting to swell. Kelly Hu reminding Mia Kang of her 'promise' to "knock the b*tch out" as Gellar has to be satisfied with holding cold packs to Mia's aching ribs and abs. Both women standing before the bell, stepping out quickly as if they're eager to get their hands on the other.
But looks can be deceiving and neither shows any real aggression in the opening minute of the round, they're back at long range - which favors the longer armed Kang, although Robbie's effectively maintaining her distance, only darting in for quick strafing runs at Kang's body, then backing out before Mia can land more than a quick, pawing, slap! Good stuff by both women, but not exactly what the fans at ringside paid top dollar to sit thru, and it's not long before many - especially those sitting far back in the "cheap seats" begin to voice their displeasure once more.
And, again, it's Margot Robbie who is the first to respond to the fans by going on the attack! She again has to wade thru Kang's rangy reach, taking a hard left to the face, but once she's in tight, Margot goes to Mia's body with both fists, driving several hard blows into the Asian's body below her belly button which is visible thru the thin material of her one-piece. Mia landing uppercuts, but they're not 'clean' and often just glancing blows. The cumulative effect can be devastating, but Robbie's willing to take the risk rather than step back and give away the advantage of being close enough to work Mia's body over at close range.
At one point, referee Buck reminds Margot "keep 'em up" but low blows aren't Kang's problem; her problem is that it's hard to hit Robbie when she has her forehead in the middle of Mia's chest as she pounds her belly with a tattoo of lefts and rights. And even when Kang backs up, Robbie presses forward, doggedly applying unrelenting pressure to the taller brunette. Kang fights out of an upright stance, making it harder for Margot - from her low crouch - to reach her head; but Mia's giving up her body and that's a big, long, target for the Aussie blond. And Margot doesn't miss much of it!
Mia rocks Margot with an inside left hook, and Robbie has to grab Kang's hips, but Margot doesn't back off and continues to punish Mia's middle with hard punches. Robbie's landing three or four times for every one of Kang's - and Mia isn't getting good looks at Margot. At the end of the round, Kang is leaning on the back of Margot's shoulders, pushing her head down - drawing a warning from Buck who slaps at her hands to get her to stop pushing Robbie's head down. At the bell, Robbie keeps punching and Tylene has to grab her and pull her away just as Kang brings a right uppercut from her thigh! The punch glances off Margot's forehead and as the bell rings, and rings, and rings, Buck has her hands on both women's chests holding them apart as she yells at them to stop swinging. Peace finally restored, they women head back to their corners with Margot Robbie winning this one (close) keeping the fight as close as can be after four evenly divided rounds!

Rd 5: Animated conversations in both corners during the break, each fighter feels like she's been fouled, abused, disrespected and the referee has been favoring her opponent. The trainers of each feed her girls paranoia; reminding her of every wicked, evil, thing the other said about her in prefight interviews. By the warning buzzer, both trainers had stoked the flames of hatred - for better or worse - ensuring there wouldn't be a repeat of the "dull and boring" start of the previous two rounds!
Mia came out behind her left, but instead of jabbing as she had the first four rounds, she feinted the jab and instead opened hostilities with a surprise RIGHT! The punch caught Robbie by surprise, knocking her back into the Chimera corner! Kang slammed a left into Margot's belly, then a right cross slashed across Margot's bikini top, pounding the star on her left breast flat! Robbie groaned and before she could fight back, Mia's left smashed into the Union Jack on Margot's right breast, the flag disappearing beneath Kang's fist momentarily as she twisted her wrist, grinding the cloth onto Margot's nipple!
Then Mia brought another right up from her knees into Margot's belly just inches above the low-slung waistline of Robbie's bikini bottom. This was exactly the kind of action fans had paid their money to see and they were on their feet cheering Kang, regardless of which fighter they were rooting for, to show they appreciated a women who knew how to keep her promise of "a full frontal assault."
Tylene Buck, a woman who appreciated the value of a good body attack herself, was slow to order Kang to break, but once she had delivered her 'message' to Robbie, Tylene moved in and pushed Mia back, then gave Robbie a standing eight. Some fans booed, but others appreciated the effort - which gave Margot a chance to catch her breath - and, they hoped, could prolong the action.
Others were disappointed, because it gave Connelly time to lean over the ropes to pull Margot's top back over her left breast which had been briefly exposed by Mia's right fist. Margot seemed unaware, or at least more aware of the pain in her breasts, to care if one was exposed.
Mia grinning at Margot as Robbie gathers herself, then springs from the corner throwing a big right of her own, but Kang had anticipated some kind of angry white woman response and easily slipped the sucker punch attempt and drilled Robbie with another left hook! Margot reeling back into her corner again as Mia steps in preparing to shoeshine Robbie's bouncing boobs a second time. But Robbie's not as hurt as Kang thought and when Mia swings, Margot blocks her hand, then drills Mia with a hard uppercut! KANG'S HURT! Mia's knees buckling from the blow, her body - already committed to her own punch - tilting forward off balance. Mia can't protect herself as Margot loads up for a second uppercut and with Kang's hands fumbling for the rope to hold herself up, she has no defense!
DOWN GOES KANG! Mia's legs fold like a puppet with the strings cut, dropping straight down on her butt, then she slowly topples backward, feet tucked underneath her ass as her upper body flops to the canvas, arms flung out to the sides. Mia's not moving as Margot Robbie stands over her glaring down at the unconscious Asian Assassin. Robbie turns around, then 'kicks dirt' on Kang before she struts off to a neutral corner with her arms raised. Tylene Buck moves in and counts to five, then waves off the rest as unnecessary with Ultimate's Fighting Academy handlers already scrambling thru the ropes to rush to their fighters side. Margot Robbie's KO in minute two ends the fight as a KO5!
* * *
After: Margot hustles to her corner, stepping over Mia's stretched out body on the way and tells Ryan, "hurry up and get these gloves off." Then Margot struts proudly back across the ring to Kang's corner where Hu and Gellar have just managed to bring the tall Asian around, although Mia's still dazed and unsure of where she is or what happened.

Remembering how Mia "threw her out" of Ultimate's corner after the first round, Margot returns the favor! She grabbed Kang by the shoulder straps of her one-piece suit, jerked her to her feet and hip-tossed the big woman to the middle of the ring, then went over to her, straddled her chest, then sat down hard on her bosom, flattening Mia's perky breasts under her tight butt, her legs spread with her knees pinning Mia's shoulders to the mat!

Mia blinked as she tried to figure out what had happened, but all she could see was Margot's leering face floating above her crotch which was framed by Robbie's thighs. Margot reached down, grabbed a handful of Mia's hair and was pulling her head up off the mat when....

WHAM! Kelly Hu dove headfirst over Mia's body and tackled Margot around the shoulders, pulling her off of Kang and slamming her to the mat with Kelly on top of Margot! Hu drew back her fist to punch and...

CRASH! Jeri Ryan came out of the Chimera corner, leaped on Hu and the two of them rolled over and over on the mat, pulling hair, slapping, kicking and punching one another with mindless fury!

Tylene Buck's first inclination was to just stand back, lean on the ropes and enjoy the catfight, but her responsibility as referee overcame her reluctance to spoil the show and she moved to pull Hu off of Ryan who Kelly had managed to mount and was busy trying to get Jeri's Chimera logo polo shirt off. She had it halfway - it was wrapped around Ryan's head, blinding her and exposing Ryan's magnificent bosom in a light green lace brassiere. Just as Tylene was about to grab Hu...

"WUUFF!" Torrie Wilson ran up behind Tylene and gave her a WWE-style "low-blow" forearm up between the legs. Before Tylene had time to react, Torrie had her airborne and body slammed her one-time rival to the mat.

Gellar and AnnaLynne McCord were on their way from Ultimate's corner to help Hu and Kang, while Connelly and Liz Hurley were getting in each others way trying to both climb into the ring from the Chimera corner. Fortunately for Tess Valmore sitting ringside - who's head was about to explode - several burly security types, both male and female, appeared from both sides of the ring and each grabbed the two women from each corner and shoved them back out of the ring, then went about restoring order inside the ring. One guy - the one who had Buck and Wilson around the chest with each arm, holding the kicking screaming blondes with their feet off the mat - couldn't stop grinning!

The others quickly got Ryan and Robbie, and Hu and Kang under control and back where they belonged, then stood guard until Buck was released to finish the job of raising Robbie's hand. Then Buck jabbed her index finger in Robbie's face and kicked her ass out of the ring (verbally) warning her she'd better not see her face again the rest of the night.

Order - if not dignity - returned to the FCBA ring as both fighters and handlers were escorted to their dressing rooms... Jeri Ryan without her shirt... which had (mysteriously) ended up in the hands of a lucky fan. Lucky, because a couple of weeks later he was able to talk Ryan into autographing it for him, then he sold it on E-Bay for several hundred dollars.

In their postfight press conferences, both women expressed regret for their statements before the fight.
Kang saying her calling Robbie a "demon" was fake news, that her word had been deliberately taken out of context. Yes, she admitted she'd called Margot a "b*tch" but it was merely prefight hype and "trash talk" that she really didn't mean it, although in light of Robbie's behavior after the fight she "may want to reconsider her apology."

Margot tried to laugh off her threat to "piss on" Kang, saying she's never "done that" in public and she doubted she ever would... "certainly not in a boxing ring on television." She regretted even saying that "in jest" and hoped she and "my friend Mia" could get past it before it became a problem.
