SHAY MITCHELL VS BELLA THORNE

Bella: 20 YO, 5’8 (1.73 m), 16-2-0. 16 KO since 2016, The Dollhouse

Before: “Shay has a big rep around here,” declares Bella Thorne as she and Shay Mitchell meet with the reporters in the press tent before their bout. They are both wearing short, sexy beach wraps over their fighting attire and the photographers are kept busy getting lots of material with their cameras. “But I see her as heading into the back side of her career. I mean she’s over 30 now and she can’t expect to do all that well against hot young fighters. You know, fighters like me! I like fighting on the sand, Oh, it’s hot and you sweat a lot, but that’s why someone with my age advantage will outlast some older—you know, like Shay Mitchell. Sorry, Shay, I;m not really dissing you. You can’t help it. Time will catch up with me—a long time from now—but it will happen. I am just pointing it out so no on will be surprised when I leave stretched out on the beach—KO’d.”

Shay Mitchell regards this all coolly: “My, my, the rookies these days certainly do know how to chatter on. You would almost think they are as good as they say they are.”

“16-2—that says I’m plenty good!” Bella interjects,

“Yes, but you haven’t had a fight with me. You are talented Ms. Thorne, but you will find out that experience is what seasons and hardens talent to make a champion. I have been a champion, Ms. Thorne, you will soon learn why.” Shay continued.

“Then I hope this fight starts soon because I can’t wait to show you I may not be a Champion yet-but I will be soon!” Belle snapped, her temper clearly rising.

Shay just gave a little dismissive shrug: “We’ll see,”

Bella looks irked enough to take an early swing at Shay, but she knows their fight will be very soon. She decides to save her hitting for the ring and stalks away muttering:

“Let’s get this started!”

It is not long after this that Shay and Bella approach the ring in the sand. Shay is accompanied by Nia Peeples her trainer and stablemates Sasha Pieterse and Lucy Hale. Bella Thorne has train Carmen Electra and Kristanna Loken in her corner. Shay is helped from her beach wrap to reveal she will be fighting in a white bikini with black gloves and white laces. Her dark hair is in a simple braid down her back. Bella Thorne’s wrap is removed to reveal she has decided to go for a beach look in this fight: a purple bikini with black trim. Purple gloves with black laces. Her red hair is in a ponytail. Bella looking eager to go. Shay cool despite that hot beach sun. Rig instructions are covered and the fighters sent to their corners. The bell rings.

R1: Shay and Bella out smoothly from their corners, both showing good movement on the sand and a willingness to get in close to punch. Bella pressing Shay hard to the juggs and belly with short, hard hooks. Shay giving it right back to Bella with racking shots from right to left and left to right. They are both trying to body up and referee finally intervenes when they start pushing and shoving. Bella then drops back, lets Shay come at her and lands a smacking left uppercut to the chin that sends Shay stumbling backwards. Bella charges in, but Shay has her gloves up high to protect her head. Blocked up high, Bella works Shay’s midsection and gives her breasts a good working over to. Shay responding late with an accurate jab that cuts up Bella’s face and forces her to slowly pull back. Time runs out before Shay can build on her late surge and the judges give the round to Bella Thorne by a close margin.

R2: Shay picking up where she left off as she uses the jab to punch Bella to the face as she tries to press forward. Then she steps to the side and uploads hard into the ribs of Bella’s right and left flanks. Bella trying to counter, but she is repeatedly disrupted as a Shay catches her with hard ones to the gut and ribs. Bella looking confused and Shay happy to take advantage with opportunistic pops to the head and face. Bella’s face getting lumped up and discolored and she is obliged to concentrate on her upper guard defenses. This, of course, gives Shay plenty of targets to the stomach, ribs and cute little uppercuts to the bikini top cups to make Bella’s boobies bounce. Round ends in a wide win for Shay Mitchell.

R3: Shay continuing to press her attack as the new round opens. Bella still showing that concern with protecting her head and Shay settling for working the redhead’s body. Bella trying to get back into the fight, but can barely keep Shay back with the jab. Then Bella tries to force her punches through Shay’s gloves. Shay stung with a right to the mouth, but she instantly lashes back with a right to the jaw, Bella’s head spun around and she staggers. Shay then brings right and left uppercut crashing into Bella’s chin. DOWN ON HER BOTTOM GOES BELLA! Bella lies on her back, one arm across her eyes to block on the blazing son and trying to regain her senses. Shay in the neutral corner looking hopeful as referee counts, but Bella pulls herself together and gets back to her feet at “EIGHT!” Action resumes, but Bella now tightly defense and Shay forced to stay on the perimeter and use harassing punches. Bella not fighting back as she rides out the rest of a round she knows she’s lost. Shay Mitchell wins the round and has the knockdown to her credit.

R4: Bella seen being urgently advised by Kristanna Loken during break. Bella seems more defensive coming out this round. Shay closes in on her eager to resume the pounding, but this time she runs into a much more accurately aimed jab. Shay gets her face punched up and then her jaw is banged hard as Bella goes on the attack with her right. Shay recoiling as Bella advances firing punches at steady rate to body and head, keeping Shay uncertain of where the next blow will strike her. Shay retreating around the ring and finally is able to get her own jab going. Bella’s attack stalls and Shay now counterattacks with muscular hooks to the belly. Bella knocked back on her heels, looks shaken, but then her face hardens with determination and she strikes back with a clouting right to Shay’s cheekbone. Shay hit hard and stumbles to one side into the ropes. Bella tries to pin against the ropes and Shay struggles to get her off. Referee moves in to break it up. Bella and Shay move along the ropes in a furious exchange of punches to the head. Shay forced to cut away to middle of ring to regroup as Bella goes at her again. More fierce toe to toe action right down to the bell. Referee has to jump in as neither seems inclined to stop punching, Hot looks are exchange before Shay and Bella march to their corners. Judges give it to Bella Thorne by a close margin.

R5: Bella and Shay are out of their corners with speed at the bell, but Bella moves to the side to draw Shay off balance and staggers her with an overhand right to the jaw. Bella quickly moves to pour on the leather as Shay is trying to get her defenses in order, but can’t do it under the rapid-fire blows slamming into her. Shay tries to put distance between herself and the rampaging Bella, but it is not working. Shay blunders backwards into the ropes and Bella breaks through Shay’s defenses to smite her on the temple. Shay’s knees buckle AND DOWN GIES SHAY! Shay lies on her side along the ropes. Bella raises her arms in triumph and walks to the neutral corner. Referee moves in and starts to count. Shay regains her senses and grabs the near by ropes to help pull herself up. She makes it fully erect just as the referee reaches “NINE!” Bella scowls in disappointment as the referee allows the fight to resume. Bella hurries over to finish the job, but Shay is pumping out her jab and Bella finds herself blocked down to the bell. However the knockdown assures Bella Thorne will get this round on her side of the cards and by a wide margin.

R6: Now it is Nia Peeples encouraging her fighter after a knockdown and Shay listens intently, nodding her head as she does. Then the bell rings. Shay comes out with determination, but not recklessly. Bella is approaching, looking for that finishing punch, but then Shay strikes first, a fast lunge as she brings an uppercut between Bella’s gloves and into her chin. Bella caught clean, goes windmilling back as she struggles to keep her feet in the sand. Shay in hot pursuit manages the smack Bella across the juggs. Then Bella manages to dig in and they are back to battling it out at close range. Shay getting worked hard to belly and boobs, but she’s returning the favor to Bella with her counter-jabbing. Shay moving from side to side, blocking Bella from escaping and slowly pushing her back to the ropes. Bella trying to avoid this, but a hook to thr belly plants her bottom onto the ropes and she immediately clinches to avoid a beatdown. Shay forced to resume the attack, but repeat clinchings disrupt the effort until time runs out on the round. It’s another close one but Shay Mitchell wins this round.

R7: Bella trying to regain control of the fight takes the offensive early as she tries to break Shay down with a series of hooks to the ribs and belly. Shay firing back with counters that shoot over Bella’s extended gloves and strike her hard in the face. Bella’s attack slows and then Shay launches her own attack to Bella’s body. Bella shuddering as she is tipped forward by the impacts. Shay spots a gap between Bella’s gloves and hurls a thunderbolt right that cleaves between the gloves and into Bella’s forehead. Bella’s head jerked back and Shay sends a right to the jaw and a left to the chin. Bella seems frozen in place for a split second. Shay drops down and then springs back up bringing her right from down around her ankles to crash under Bella’s chin. Bella’s feet are lifted off the sand and she arches backwards to crash onto the sand landing in a perfect starfish! Shay wastes no time in getting to the neutral corner, but it quickly becomes evident that the count is a mere formality. Bella’s chest heaves a bit and she moans softly, but that’s it as the count reaches:

“NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!”

THE WINNER SHAY MITCHELL DEFEATS BELLA THORNE KO7!

After: Bella towed to the Dollhouse corner where she is brought around and checked out. The head of medical crew assures Kristanna: “She should be fine!”

“That’s great news! On your feet Thorne! You got a walk of shame coming!”

The Dollhouse crew turns to see a vengeful Shay Mitchell, now without her gloves, standing there looking down at the crestfallen Bella Thorne. Bella swallows and says:

“It’s all right. I can do this,” Bella says and rises to her feet.

“I can see you might need some help, Let me give you a hand,” Shay says, and promptly grabs Bella’s right wrist and pulls her arm behind her back in a hammerlock.

“Hey! I was coming!” Bella protests.

“It’ll look better this way,” Shay says with a smirk in her voice.

“And here I thought you Punchers were nice girls,” Bella grumbles.

“Only if you don’t push us too far. Now get moving!” Shay commands.

Shay takes Bella around the ring, posing as they go for the fans and press to snap pictures. Bella is not pleased about this and is seething by the time they get back to the Dollhouse corner.

“You are SO going to regret crossing me!” Bella warns.

“I doubt that very much,” Shay says and bows mockingly at Bella. “See you around.”

The Dollhouse team looks ready to jump Shay, but Sasha Pieterse and Lucy Hale have come towards them ready to back Shay up.

“Another time,” Kristanna promises as they watch Shay join her teammates and they exit the ring together.
Another exciting beach bout. Bella Thorne and Shay Mitchell seemed evenly matched, both scoring knockdowns in a back and forth contest. However Shay was able to get to Bella in the 6th after going down in the 5th and then finishing her off in the 7th. No doubt a satisfying win for the veteran Shay, but is likely no more than a temporary setback for rising star Bella. Bad feelings left from the fight indicate we likely haven’t seen the last of these two fighting each other and that is something most fans can eagerly look forward to seeing some day
