Intro:
This fight has some history behind it, Hilary Rhoda fights her former stablemate Michelle Ryan tonight on Muscle Beach in L.A.
Hilary is 31 years old, she stands 5'11 and holds a record of 17 wins, all by knockout and 6 defeats, she is a former FCBA welterweight champion.
Michelle is 34 years old, she stands 5'7 and holds a record of 20 wins, 17 by knockout and 19 defeats.
The fighters were interviewed on the FCBA network by Lucy Liu, Hilary sat on the sofa in the studio wearing a black dress, her smile lighting up the room as she is asked about her history with Michelle.
"Michelle certainly gave me a hard time when I first entered the gym, you know how things normally get better, well I learned that Michelle loves being the number 1, even over stablemates" replies Hilary as Lucy nods.
"So this is my chance to prove to her once and for all why I got kept and she found herself fighting back on the indies, the welterweight title is all I care about and it's been a year since I won my first title, way too long" says Hilary as she gets serious.
While when Michelle gets interviewed, she is wearing a silk silver dress, she doesn't look impressed by the situation as she tells Lucy "so you are the new Tess Valmore... *rolls eyes* goody"
As Lucy asks Michelle about her history with Hilary, Michelle interrupts her by saying "look I gave them everything and look what it got me"
She continues "I had enough of Hilary when we were in the same room together, I am going to love beating her bloody till she begs me to stop" then heads off the stage with a serious look on her face.
Fighting time; the ring posts are dug into the sand, bleachers surround the ring for the crowd to watch the fight.
Out comes Hilary first, she has Melanie Sykes and Eva Carneiro by her side, Hilary is wearing a black sports bra with gold trim, matching bikini bottoms with "HR" in gold letters on the left front side, black gloves with gold thumbs and her hair is braided.
Climbing into the ring; Hilary waves to the fans as she smiles at them on her way to her corner, but settles into her warm up routine as she looks serious.
Now Michelle heads onto the beach with her coach, she is wearing a red bikini with matching gloves, her hair is also braided as she marches to the ring.
Getting into the ring; Michelle glares at Hilary as she jogs to her corner, warming up by limbering up and throwing punches as she keeps staring at her opponent across the ring.
The fighters are waved to the ring centre by the referee, squaring right up to each other as they stare right into the others eyes with looks that show there is no love lost here.
When asked to touch gloves; they quickly swipe them together, more interested in getting to their corners so they can begin 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Both fighters circle in close, looking to let their hands go early as their tempers seem to get the better of them, the crowd isn't complaining as they watch both women slam punches into the others face.
Till Hilary nudges Michelle back; using her reach to move and jabs away at the head of Michelle, keeping her on the outside as she takes the center of the ring.
Michelle tries to find a way inside; but she keeps getting clipped across the top of her head to push her back, with Hilary controlling the action.
The American rifles a straight into the top of Michelle's head; forcing her near the ropes, with Hilary landing two cross punches that turned the head of Michelle.
Who dips down and clinches up with Hilary, forcing the referee to step in to break them apart, with both trading stiff jabs.
With late in the round; Michelle dips under a straight and goes to work on the body, forcing Rhoda to retreat back and Michelle keeps in close, forcing a fiery exchange to finish off the round.
The bell rings to finish the round; Michelle looking pissed off as she barges past Hilary, sitting stewing on her stool after a bad start to the fight.
Round 2:
Hilary looks to keep the fight at distance early; but Michelle has other plans, dipping under the jab and landing a right to the body.
The Brit is looking to be more aggressive; slipping under her opponent's punches and landing several to the body of Hilary to drive her back.
When Hilary misses with a left cross; Michelle comes up with an overhand right that turns the Americans head, Michelle then thuds away to the body to drive her onto the ropes.
Hilary clinches up with Michelle to stop her, the referee stepping in to break the insult trading pair, Hilary using the chance to get off the ropes and into space.
Michelle looks to keep the pressure on her opponent, she eats a double jab to the top of her head though as Hilary dances out the way.
With the late part of the round seeing Hilary start to get some rhythm back to her punches, the fighters move around and trade punches as Michelle continues to look aggressive but getting picked off by the longer ranged punches of her rival.
The bell rings to end the round with Michelle grinning as she heads back to her corner, getting her face washed down and to keep the pressure on her opponent.
Who sits across the ring and glares at her, obliviously not happy with herself as Melanie tells her to use her movement and range to control the pace.
Round 3:
Michelle looks to do as told and keep at Hilary, parrying a few of her punches and getting inside to work the body, making Hilary groan out as she drills away at it.
However Hilary uses her left to nudge Michelle back, then lands a right cross and follows with two more straight strikes to knock the head of Ryan to drive her back.
Back and forth goes the action as Michelle keeps getting inside to work, before she is pushed back like a pest and Hilary lands through her gloves to her face.
Michelle manages to land an overhand left that knocks Hilary back a step, the bigger girl needing to cover up as her opponent tries to smash her face in.
Soon settling for the body as she shoves Hilary onto the ropes and with her head down, she pistols her punches into the abs of Hilary to make her groan.
Till Hilary puts her into a front headlock; landing two kidneys shots to Michelle, the referee breaks them up and tells Hilary to keep things clean.
Michelle looks to keep on top but is met with a staunch defensive display, Hilary moving around the ring with her long legs and jabbing away at the head of her opponent.
The bell rings with Michelle pumping her fist in the air, knowing she has the lead now and chatting away to her coach how she has forgotten more about fighting then Hilary ever knew.
The Girls Friday corner not looking too happy as they wash down Hilary and ice her body, wanting to keep the pain down as they know Michelle will keep going to the body till she wins.
Round 4:
Again Michelle looks to push the pace of the action early and drive Hilary onto her heels, bobbing and weaving out the way of the jabs from Hilary, then getting inside to work the body.
Hilary though nudges Michelle back with her left and slams a right across the top of her head to knock Michelle back.
The English fighter tries to dip down to come inside; Hilary sidesteps and rifles her left into the top of her head to ward her back.
It looks like Hilary is starting to measure up Michelle, keeping on the move and frustrating the smaller fighter by landing to her face with jabs and straights.
But Michelle feints with her left and sidesteps an attempted straight to open up her opponent to a left across her cheek, knocking Hilary back behind her guard.
Allowing Michelle late in the round to come on the attack; slamming her punches into the sides of Hilary's body to force her back towards the ropes.
Hilary fights back; which leads to a hard exchange between the two to finish the round, the bell rings and both girls scowl at each other before the referee steps in and orders them to their corners.
Michelle not so pleased by that round, but still chats away to her coach that she can feel Hilary giving ground to her when she gets to the inside of her reach.
Hilary stares down at the turnbuckles as she gets to her corner; Mel needing to get her to sit down and tells Hilary to keep her head up, she showed she can force Michelle around the ring, which has her corner team happy enough.
Round 5:
The action starts with both meeting near the ring centre; Michelle looking to stalk Hilary as the taller fighter boxes off the back foot.
Michelle manages to land a jab to the body of Hilary as she looks to step inside, this time though she gets caught with a left across the top of her head that allows Hilary to step to the side.
The American is starting to get control of the fight as she keeps catching Michelle to the top of her head, knocking it back and moving as Michelle tries to get in close.
Michelle does manage to get inside to bang in a right and left to the sides of her opponent's body, she gets shoved back though by a left into her face and Hilary lands a right hook across the top of her head.
When Michelle tries to land a right hook; Hilary lands a jab straight to the top of her head, followed by a right near the temple that knocks Michelle back and she is clearly spooked as she covers up.
But Hilary sees it and comes on the attack with a double jab landing through her mitts to her face and a follow up uppercut knocks Michelle onto the ropes.
Both women go toe to toe as they look to take control of the action, Hilary looks to be landing the heavier shots as she smacks Michelle across the face with a left and right cross.
The round finishes with Michelle covering up and looking a little stunned as Hilary shouts "come on!" To a loud cheer by her fans.
Both sit on their stools to get cleaned up, with Michelle looking irate that she got hurt by Hilary, her coach telling her to keep focused as Michelle sits stamping her right foot in frustration.
Round 6:
As the round begins; Hilary looks to be the more aggressive, poking the bear with stiff jabs and straights to knock Michelle's head back.
Then when Michelle comes on the attack; Hilary steps back and dodges the wide punches from the English stunner, countering with straight punches up the middle to her face.
As Michelle misses with a left hook; Hilary opens her up with a double jab, then slams a right hook that looks to land on that temple again.
Michelle can be seen blinking as she steps back; HILARY STEPS IN WITH ANOTHER STRAIGHT LANDING OFF THE NOSE OF MICHELLE AND AN UPPERCUT LANDS FLUSH AND SENDS MICHELLE IN A HEAP TO THE SAND!
Hilary tells Michelle to stay down before she heads to a neutral corner, 1...2...3 Michelle can be seen staring up into the sky, blinking to clear her head 4...5....6 Michelle turns to her side and tries to push up, 7....8 but she slips and ends up on her back again, 9....10 and is counted out!

After:
Hilary gets the win and bragging rights over Michelle; something that has her grinning like a Cheshire cat as she struts with her fists raised back to her corner.
The Girls Friday crew hug her tightly, with Melanie telling her "that's why we kept you over her, you are truly amazing" as she embraces with her fighter.
While Michelle can only be helped to sit up; staring across the ring at her former stablemates just makes things worse for her as she punches the sand with her right fist.
The referee with her coach helps Michelle stand, though she wobbles to show she hasn't recovered from the knockout yet, as she is helped to her corner so she can be worked on.
When both fighters are supposed to be at the center of the ring for the result to be announced, Michelle signals that she won't go, instead getting helped out the ring as she wants no part of Hilary being shown as the winner.
Hilary doesn't care as she mockingly waves Michelle bye and shouts "don't send a Christmas card!" As Melanie and Eva chuckle.
The referee raising her hand to a loud cheer from her fans as she flexes her arms and smiles to them afterwards, then she leaves the ring with her crew to head to the back.
Hilary will be hoping this will be the start of a run to get back into the title hunt, the welterweight division is packed so it won't be easy to get back into hunt.
