BEFORE:
"I really wish I could have had another go at Brooklyn Decker but I understand why Hannah wants to beat her up again too! Nevermind, I'll have lots of fun with that Czech bimbo instead!", Kelly Rohrbach is no short of confidence ahead of the Co-Main Event starring two blonde bombshell models. Karolina Kurkova has retired from Victoria's Secret duty a while back but still draws ire from several of her peers including Rohrbach who seeks her own breakthrough route in wake of Hannah Ferguson's larger-than-life performances. She's almost too good to serve as a mere fall back option for any stable out there but with Hannah eyeing more JMDD glory and Anllela Sagra calling Ice Hotel her home, there's not a lot of immediate front page opportunities for Kelly available right now.

Meanwhile Karolina's happy to accept all the challenges coming her way; she knocked out an inexperienced Jasmine Tookes on the FNL card back in July but that was literally a "stay busy" bout and can't be compared to tonight's stable war test at all. The Lioness crew targets a genuine upset at the expense of Rohrbach who nurses a two-fight losing streak and might be a little too desperate for success - that usually favors the underdog instead.

ROUND 1:
Kelly cranks it up early and prevents the older blonde from settling in, Lioness head trainer Claudia Schiffer looked more nervous than usual ahead of the bell and did she fear an outright Rohrbach blast here? Karolina tries to stay out of harm's way but Kelly picks her off from both sides and threatens to knock her head off during a hectic opening minute prowl. The Czech model delivers a steady but otherwise ineffective counter-punching display yet she has to yield real estate when she gets caught with a vicious double on the nose. Kelly barks in delight and duly outworks the fellow blonde in mid-distance as well which backs Kurkova butt-in-ropes and soaking up more aerial bombs come the bell.

ROUNDS 2&3:
Lioness back-up plan takes effect immediately as Kelly threatens to run riot for stable war glory! Karolina soaks up another left hook on the nose and drags the younger blonde into extended clinching which doesn't sit well with the Sacramento audience. However the Czech still sparks a comeback when she begins to drill Rohrbach's midsection and manages to pin her along the ropes. The VIX don't enjoy much love from the ref here as Kurkova punches her rival into the groin at one stage but then moves up to clip the rack as well and bump Kelly onto the turnbuckle. Same scenario in the third, Kelly becomes too predictable upstairs and eats too many blows to the body which halts her process. One can argue Karolina shows her veteran poise now and she frustrates more VIX pride when she hauls in a gut-wrenching drive that leaves Rohrbach yelping in pain. Kelly just can't shake the Czech phone booth off and shows more bruises as Kurkova keeps it all tummy down the stretch.

ROUND 4:
It's time for a VIX back-up plan now and Kelly holds back with another gung-ho approach which meets a cheeky grin from the Czech model: "Feelin' soft, cow?" But the taunting doesn't work and one can only wonder how hard Steve Boyd had to work on Kelly keeping her powder dry here in such cases? The Kurkova "B" plan seems well-prepared for a hard-charging opponent but it suffers when the Czech is forced to make her moves first; she doesn't have the speed to match the younger woman and falls short of the mark which Rohrbach keeps dancing around and seemingly waiting to strike with that haymaker. Kurkova can be knocked the hell out with a buzz-saw single punch according to Tess Valmore's pre-fight report but the waiting game wears the Sacramento audience down and perhaps Kelly gives the Czech veteran a little too much respect now?

ROUND 5:
Both women trade headshots early in the fifth but Kelly gets caught with another of these drilling harpoons to the body and that's just bad defense from the Connecticut native. She gets glued to her heels as Karolina leans on her so much she almost head-butts her on the nose but still buries those sharp hooks into the exposed ribcage. Ugh! Rohrbach has to yield real estate next and gets picked off with a flying hook that bursts her lips into a nasty swelling that grows as time goes by. She tries to avoid getting trapped on the ropes but just can't overpower the older blonde from the back foot and gets WHACKED with another cross hooking drive that eventually reels her onto the turnbuckle come the final seconds. You know what comes next, Kurkova pounds away in furious fashion and Kelly's midriff soaks it ALL up! Bell! VIX coach Steve Boyd is LIVID and there's a sign of resignation in Kelly's eyes according to Tess Valmore!

ROUND 6:
Coach Boyd orders a full-scale attack but it's Kurkova who usually thrives on the counter-punch action, remember? The East Coast blonde has other ideas but finds it tough to breakthrough the stubborn Czech guard even though her up-tempo switch seems to be working for the time being. Most of the Rohrbach headshots bounces off the guard but at least is spares the SI model's ribcage additional beating and Kurkova remains lithe enough on her feet to affect the fellow blonde's execution down the stretch. She eventually breaks free into mid-distance whereas Kelly keeps grazing off her targets; the red mist mode runs out of gas come the final minute and Karolina channels that looping response to stagger the younger model in the center of the ring. Another big hook right at the bell squashes Kelly's lips into jelly and she has to be worked on by the cutman during the break; the VIX frustration grows by the second and coach Boyd is ***this*** close to losing his mind wholesale.

ROUND 7:
Kelly storms into another aggressive funk and Karolina's ready to set up the counter-punching trap instead... she's got the American right where she wants her UNTIL a BOOMING right hand catches the Czech veteran flush on the jaw!!! Whoa! Kurkova goes LIMP and staggers to her heels while Rohrbach pounces on her with a left/right leather buzzsaw. She LIFTS the older model off her feet and my oh my, Karolina was OUTTA here while still flyin' through the California night sky... SHE CRASHES DOWN WITH A LOUD THUMP and the ref only gives her a quick look before waving it off on the spot! KO7 Kelly Rohrbach in come-from-behind of the Year fashion!!!

Official Decision: Kelly Rohrbach defeats Karolina Kurkova via KO7!

AFTER:
That feels like a daylight robbery for the Lioness crew and poor Karolina has to be stretched off the ring showing very little awareness after soaking up that welterweight-like thunder strike! Brooklyn Decker would be proud of that finish... hell, Hannah Ferguson too! Karolina has build a WIDE lead on the cards but simply got SMOKED when she had Kelly in full desperation mode. The numbers don't lie, the VIX blonde hasn't won a round since the opener and she was destined to land that KO if she thought of avoiding an otherwise huge upset on the stable's home turf.

Kelly's too proud to acknowledge the somewhat fortunate nature of her victory when talking to BLONDE! Magazine reporter: "Robbery? What robbery? I EARNED that win! She's the one who can call herself lucky since I shoudda broken her frickin' jaw there in the end! I always have that BIG PUNCH finish in me! Just ask Hannah how often I knocked her down in the gym! You counted on this sucker going the distance? (laughs) If Hannah's the Shaq, then I'm Kobe! I'm a future Hall of Famer in my own right! And now I have to buy this Valmore woman a drink or two... or three..." (winks).
