Elizabeth Henstridge versus Kat Graham

(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Two flyweights in a bit of a slump do battle now; Elizabeth Henstridge takes on the "Liberian Lynx" Kat Graham on PPV.

Elizabeth is 31 years old; she stands 5'4 and holds a record of 19 wins, all by knockout and 8 defeats.

Kat is 29 years old; she also stands 5'4 and holds a record of 17 wins, 15 by knockout and 13 defeats.

Both women were interviewed at their gyms, with Elizabeth finishing sparring with Maisie Williams, heading out the ring with a towel and bottle of water, Elizabeth is full of smiles as she jogs over to the press.

"Hey guys, it feels great to have a win behind me for what feels like too long, beat Lindsay (Lohan) has definitely got my smile back" says the cheerful Elizabeth.

Taking a drink, she continues after "I'll have to be fully focused against Kat though, she is a great fighter or why else would Front Street have her, but I need to be confident and believe in myself to do the job"

She finishes her speech with "I have to say thank you to all these guys" waving to her stablemates and coaches "without these guys I'd probably be a wreck and wouldn't be in the ring, they kept faith with me and have given me the strength to fight through the bad patch"

While Kat finishes her weight training; showing off her abs and flexing her arms as she grins at the cameras, before wiping herself down with a towel.

"It's great that Wiz is helping me out with training, feels like the old days when I fought for him regularly, so I feel in perfect shape" says Kat as she stands with her hands on her hips.

"I know that Elizabeth and her stable expect me to be part of her rebuilding process, she picked the wrong woman for that, I am going to enjoy crushing her dreams of ever being an elite fighter" adds Kat as she grins cockily.

Fight night; Elizabeth comes out with Lauren Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro behind her, she looks in good spirits as she walks down the aisle, waving to her young fans as she goes.

She is wearing a grey sports bra, shorts and shoes, she had black gloves with silver coloured thumbs, her hair is in a ponytail.

Climbing into the ring, she jogs over to her corner and mounts the bottom ropes, arms in the air as her fans cheer her, hopping down soon enough so she can go through her warm up routine.

Out comes Kat to a loud cheer, she has her coach behind her as she marches to the ring, she looks confident as she stares at the ring and her opponent.

She is wearing a yellow sports bra with matching coloured boxer shorts and gloves, her hair is also up in a fighting ponytail.

Climbing into the ring; Kat nods to her fans but is more focused on warming up as she chats to her coach on what they are planning on doing in the fight.

The fighters come to the ring center, eyes locked together as the referee goes through the instructions, neither fighter blinks as they stay face to face.

When they are asked to touch gloves; the fighters do as told, with Elizabeth smiling and wishing Kat good luck, only getting a stone faced look in reply.

The fighters return to their corners to get their gumshields in and finally words of advice, then the bell is rung to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Out comes the fighters towards the ring centre, each testing the other out as they circle early on, jabs finding the others guard.
Kat surprises Elizabeth by throwing a jab up top, it's a feint though as the Brit lifts her guard up and leaves her body open to the real right landing to the abs.
The Liberian stepping in to work her opponents body, forcing Elizabeth to step back and land a double jab off the top of Kat's head to knock Kat back.
It's Kat that is pushing the tempo, forcing Elizabeth to keep on the move outside the ring as the fighters trade, with Graham keeping Henstridge stuck behind her guard with her piston like jab pounding the gloves.
Till Elizabeth moves her head out the way of a left; landing a counter left cross to the side of Kat's head as she steps around the younger fighter.
Elizabeth starting to get some momentum as steps side to side to keep Kat guessing, finding gaps in her opponent's guard to strike her face.
But late in the round; Kat slips under a straight to land an overhand right across the cheek of Liz, opening her up to more pounding punches that drive Henstridge towards the ropes.
The bell rings to end the round; Kat all smiles as she heads to her corner, bumping fists with her coach as she sits on her stool after a strong opening round.
Round 2:
Kat looks to keep the pressure on her opponent, getting in close to work as both women trade in tight, heads touching as they smack away to the others body.
Elizabeth uses her left to nudge Kat back; landing two uppercuts to knock her opponent's head back and allowing her to drive Graham onto the ropes.
Both women let their hands go as Kat looks to fight her way off the ropes, Elizabeth leans out the way of a left hook, landing a counter straight onto the nose of Kat to make her cry out.
Elizabeth getting a head of steam as she starts pounding Kat through her gloves to her face, Kat needing to grab Elizabeth into a clinch to stop the assault.
The referee breaks the fighters apart; with Kat looking pissed as she stares at Liz, she comes back hard at the Agents start as she looks to get into her face.
Elizabeth showing her smarts to move back and look to counter, both landing stiff single punches as Kat hunts down Liz.
In the dying seconds of the round; Kat manages to get in close with two body shots and just misses with an overhand right as Elizabeth leans out the way.
Elizabeth stepping back and covering up as Kat throws a flurry aimed at her head, the rounds end with Kat looking frustrated as she heads to her corner.
While in the opposite corner; Elizabeth gets praise from Lauren as Eva washes her down, with Elizabeth staring across the ring at Kat as she looks all business.
Round 3:
Both women come out looking to take control of the round, Kat aiming to get in close with Elizabeth dancing around the outside of the ring.
When Kat gets in close; Elizabeth lands a right hook across the temple of Kat, MAKING HER LEGS WOBBLE AND AN UPPERCUT SNAPS KAT'S HEAD BACK AS SHE FALLS ON HER BACK!
Elizabeth looks surprised herself as she heads to a neutral corner, 1...2..3 Kat can be seen blinking hard as she lays spread eagle on the canvas, 4...5...6 Kat turns to her front, pulling herself to the ropes, 7....8...9 Kat tries to pull herself up, but tumbled back to her face and 10 is counted out!

Winner Elizabeth Henstridge KO Round 3

After:
A stunning knockout for Elizabeth; so much so that Elizabeth can be seen mouthing "wow" before she raises her arms in the air.

Kat's coach rushes in to help Kat up; she still looks badly dazed as she is helped to her corner, shaking her head to try and clear her head.

Elizabeth after getting her gloves taken off by Lauren heads over to check on Kat, who doesn't look pleased but does nod that she'll be OK.

Understandably Kat looks disappointed as she chats to her coach, who is telling her that she needed to keep her focus, she left herself wide open and she can now learn from her mistake.

While Elizabeth gets a hug from her coaching team, Eva telling her "I am so happy to see you smiling again" with Elizabeth thanking her for her help.

Both fighters come to the ring centre, where Elizabeth soon enough gets her hand raised to a loud cheer by her fans as she smiles warmly to them.

Kat just looks at the canvas; before she heads out the ring with help from her coach to the locker rooms, hoping that tonight will be a reminder of why she got cut and to work on herself to improve her fortunes.

In the ring; Elizabeth bows to each side of the ring, excited that her future is looking brighter as Lauren pats her shoulder and praises her for the efficient finish.

Elizabeth heading out the ring to the back; blowing kisses to her fans as she goes, having Lauren and Eva both behind her and looking proud of their friend.
