BEFORE: "Since Michelle Williams decided to offer that title shot to Jessica Lowndes, I might as well focus on some former flyweight champion instead!", Cheryl Cole is no short of confidence ahead of tonight's clash versus three-time 110 lbs champion Kristen Bell who's fallen out of the elite spectre over the last couple of years. The Michigan native hasn't had a winning season in four years and is only 2-5 since then but her scalp looks good on anyone's resume and Cheryl's always up for a proper blonde beatdown when given the opportunity!

On the other hand Kristen seems a little relieved she's going up against an opponent only three years her junior since she got roughed up by relative youngsters Sammi Hanratty and Jennette McCurdy in her last two outings almost twelve months ago. Cole might be ranked #1 by the Boxing World Magazine but Bell thinks she's got a better chance of upsetting the Geordie stunner than most based on some of her most bitter feuds over the years: "I'd like to think she's a clone version of Mila Kunis or Lacey Chabert whom I always loved to beat up! Won't be any different with this British cow! She's going DOWN!!!"

Cheryl Cole wears a black bikini top, leopard-print panties and blue red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytai. Kristen Bel wears a light blue bikini set and black gloves. Long blonde hair wrapped in a thick bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Kristen is no spring chicken anymore but she can still dish out some heat in the early going and she blitzes the Geordie brunette with some high-octane head-hunting efforts that force Cole into quick cover. Of course Cheryl usually comes out of the gate very fast herself but she gets jumped by a very spirited opponent this time and fails to embrace the her attacks which split her mitts repeatedly during the opening minute. Kristen scowls in her efforts to pin the singer against the ropes but Cole relies on her footwork to avoid more trouble even though she properly bullied around the ring in the process. Bell keeps firing from both flanks and connects with single strikes down the stretch as Cole's response remains in the freezer until late when she lands a double combo on the mouth to halt the former champion's walk in the park.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second as Bell storms out of her stool to connect with some head-hunting punches but Cole eventually ducks low and hauls in a couple of body shots to stuff the blonde in close range. Both women bump off each other in jug-to-jug contact before Cheryl whacks the blonde across the mouth and outworks her in a phone booth slugfest. Here comes your #1 ranked performer, folks! She hands Bell a mouthful of leather but more importantly digs deep into the tummy as well to leave Kristen wincing in discomfort. The former champ struggles to stretch her elbows and gets backed into the ropes as Chezza almost head-butts her in the process but it's those crisp shots to the ribcage that drop the blonde into a desperate cover late and Cole quickly establishes full control come the final stretch. She fails to dissect Bell's guard though and barks in frustration when the clock expires.

Round 3:
Mindless flyweight bashing early in the third and it's almost too dangerous for Bell to accept according to ESPN's Erin Andrews. She snaps Cole's ponytail a few times but wobbles onto her heels when the Geordie singer WHACKS her on both temples before going downstairs to pierce more tummy. Ugh! Kristen just can't live with those body shots and gets backed into the ropes again where she hangs on with the in-your-face slugging until Cheryl eventually bends her sideways and keeps punishing the exposed midriff. Ugh! Blonde enforces a clinching break but she's lost all her momentum now and still eats a couple of hooks on the chin when Cole stays on top of her in the corner. A late hit finds the groin literally right at the bell but the referee fails to acknowledge that which draws ire from the audience. You think the Geordie stunner cares about that? That cheeky smile on her face probably indicates otherwise.

Round 4:
Kristen tries to find her mojo back but she only succeeds in stopping the midsection barrage as she reverts into some blatant clinching to frustrate the heck out of the brunette foe. Cheryl complains to the referee about the blonde's tactics but then gets whacked on the groin herself as Bell imposes some former glory and clips the singer's jugs with a flurry of uppercuts to wobble Cole on her heels. The otherwise arrogant Brit just won't back off though and as she tries to jump back into the blonde's face, she gets NAILED with a right cross on the nose that is quickly followed with another vicious hook on the ear. Uh-oh!!! COLE IS HURT!!! The top-ranked brunette stumbles back to the ropes with a loud whimper and Bell rallies back with more head shots that tear a bloody patch under the singer's right eye come the two minute mark! "Eat this, cow!!", Kristen gets vocal as she traps the subdued rival on the ropes but she'd be better off punishing that exposed tummy now... she commits to knocking the brunette's head off instead and fails to destroy the high guard beyond repair which allows Cole to escape with a desperate clinch in the dying seconds. Big round for Bell though and the FCBA crowd really enjoyed that!

Round 5:
It takes a lot to drop Cole into safety-first defensive tactics but that's exactly what happens here in the fifth following that wild offensive stretch from Bell in the previous round. The only problem for the three-time champ? Cheryl still owns the footwork department and leaves the actress in a fruitless mid-distance pursuit that lacks proper power assault. Those grazing licks won't throw the Geordie singer off the cliff but Kristen just doesn't have the legs to track her foe down even though she probably secures the scoring cards by default. That's not the point and the Fighting Academy veteran knows that. The time to beat the stuffing out of Cheryl is NOW and it's wasted thanks to a superior display of mobility from the otherwise struggling singer. No wonder coach Kelly Hu is upset during the break: "Hell, even Buffy would have finished her off!", "Like really?", Sarah Michelle Gellar only rolls her eyes while at cutwoman duty but Kristen claims Cheryl is still nowhere near her comfort zone and she won't make it past the sixth next!

Round 6:
Kristen realizes she can't let the Geordie off the hook so hurries into a head-hunting offense and for once Chezza just doesn't seem ready absorb the hits as she gets tackled back to the ropes where the blonde snaps her head back & forth repeatedly! Maybe that swelling around the eye affects the singer's behaviour but it only gets worse as Bell is fully sold on knocking her head off as she wraps the aching brunette into a neck crank of sorts - so many easy punches carve fresh bruises in the brunette's face she simply can't take it anymore AND SLIDES ONTO HER BACKSIDE!!! The crowd goes wild and Kristen twerks some booty while Kelly Hu and Sarah Michelle Gellar applaud her efforts! Uh-oh!! Bad news for Cole as the cut under the right eye requires medical help once she battles back to her feet at eight. Ugh! Kristen wants the fight to be called OFF but nope, they will let Chezza back in here! The Geordie stunner earns valuable recovery time while Bell is LIVID!!! She storms back at the seemingly vulnerable brunette once the fight is resumed but commits a rookie mistake as she misfires with a left hook and gets STUFFED with a piercing shot on the solar plexus instead! "Arghhhh...", Cheryl screams out as she delivers the next punch and BLASTS the former champion on the jaw that sinks the American's hopes on the spot. Oh, boy... Kristen shrieks out in pain and goes all limp when Cole hammers in another hook on the nose TO SEND THE BLONDE CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE!!! Boom, shake the room!!! Kelly Hu throws the wet towel at the smiling Geordie but hits the referee instead... nope, that was NOT intended to raise the whte flag and Kristen remains alive in this one... well, sort of... she wants to beat the count almost too fast for her own good and allthough she gets up at seven, there's a bloody river leaking from her nostrils and after another medical delay, the fight is STOPPED!!! So, now they wave it off? Like, NOW??? TKO6 Cheryl Cole in "you broke my nose, bytch" fashion"!!!

AFTER: Uh-oh!! Kristen Bell exits stage left with a bloody nose and she might have suffered a structural damage here after all. Kelly Hu shoves Sarah Michelle Gellar to take care of the wounded blonde and jumps in the ring to have a word or two with the referee as Cheryl Cole mocks her antics from the LCA corner. Kelly's ready to tackle her to cut the taunting off but that Chimera brawl still lingers on everyone's mind and the Asian cougar settles for a shouting match instead as LCA trainer Eva Mendes joins the fun and forces Hu to back off. What an epic disaster for the Academy entourage!

Cheryl's post-fight portrait is spoiled by a massive swelling over the right eye but these former champions don't go down easily. There's still too much confidence in the Geordie stunner to admit she got very lucky in this one but winning ugly should never be underestimated especially when you've mauled Kristen Bell into a bloody mess! Howay! What's not to like about that one?
