BEFORE:

"Here's the thing," says Carly with a smile. "Back when we worked together on 'Suburgatory', we ALL knew who the boss was. And, it wasn't JANE."

"Everybody asks me about that fight scene," says a hard-eyed Jane. "What would have happened if we'd really fought. Thing is, that never happened, because she KNEW better."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'It's All Over Now, Baby Blue', and here comes a lady who has a lyric from that song tattooed on her side, the lovely Carly Chaikin!"

Cassie: "And, Carly's back to her 'Suburgatory' blonde locks for tonight's theme. She's a girl who could have fought on the redhead card, too, because of her work on 'The Last Song', and, if Uncle Wiz does a brunette card, well, there's the brunette Carly from 'Mr. Robot'..."

McCarthy: "And, if you put all three of those Carlys together, they have ZERO FCBA wins!"

O'Dell: "Chaikin, of course, is making her FCBA DEBUT tonight. She's into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a black bikini and a toned body and that's 'Pleasant Nightmare' by Alih Jey you hear behind us, and here comes 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

Tess: "Levy a girl who's had a TON of success here at Front Street, but the flyweight division has become very crowded around here, and, if Jane wants to keep up, she needs to take care of business tonight."

O'Dell: "Levy into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that peach two-piece we've seen before. And, we're about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess favors Jane. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins. Levy!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous panel to open the proceedings. And Chaiki opens them at range. No surprise there, as Carly has some reach on Levy and she'll want to use it. Levy looking to move the feet, angle in, but the blonde doing a good job of holding her at bay early, as Chaikin's getting that jab on target."

McCarthy: "This kid needs to follow those jabs with some right hands, because she's stopping Levy cold with them."

O'Dell: "And, it's like she HEARD you, Mac, because Chaikin lands a HARD right that backs up Levy, then steps forward and lands a SHARP combination that forces the redhead to cover up. Carly getting rolling big here now, letting the hands go, throwing Jane completely to the defensive..."

Cassie: "And, as we heard, this is personal in there. And, that always makes things different."

O'Dell: "Chaikin just hammering away at Levy now. Jane in full retreat. Redhead not hurt, but she's unable to get off the back foot. Instead, the blonde's calling the tune as we head into the final seconds. ANOTHER good combination from Chaikin and there's the bell. Carly wide to start this thing."

Tess: "And, the confidence that had to give her is more important than the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Levy looking to work past the Chaikin jab but having no success doing it. Carly finding with that long left hand, and everything else rolling off of that. She's keeping Jane at bay, setting her up for hard right hands. Again, Levy not hurt, but she's definitely taking punishment..."

Tess: "And, that adds up over time, obviously."

O'Dell: "Chaikin trying to add it up very, very quickly. Blonde extremely busy. Holding nothing back as she takes it to a hated rival. And, Mac, you've got to not only understand why the blonde would want to do this, but also figure that this isn't exactly a bad strategy...she's got something going...press the advantage."

McCarthy: "No doubt about it. Get every point you can and land every punch you can."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch in what's been a DOMINANT second round for Carly Chaikin. Blonde may be turning some heads right now, because she is giving it to Levy in a big, big way. Final five seconds. One more solid combination from Carly and there's the bell. Emphatically to Chaikin via shutout."

Cassie: "20-18 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Levy showing more movement of both feet, hands, and head now. Looking to avoid Chaikin's accurate jab. She's picking some off, slipping others, getting inside, working body. This looks more like the Front Street fight plan, as Jane mugs the midsection and rips into the ribs."

Cassie: "Levy's become one of the best flys in the FCBA at body work, as Chaikin is finding out."

O'Dell: "Carly definitely feeling it in there. She's tying up, trying to force breaks, but, that's not working. Jane punching free, banging more body, going upstairs to land a hard right hook. Carly backing up, covering up now, but that just opens up the body for more work from Levy."

Tess: "Jane absolutely DIGGING right now."

O'Dell: "No question about it, and that's changed the complexion of the fight. Chaikin no longer calling the tune. Instead, she's being made to fight Jane's fight, and that's not going well for her, as you might expect. Final seconds ticking off in the third and there's the bell. Wide for Levy."

McCarthy: "Chaikin still up 29-28, though."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins with Chaikin giving a little ground. Blonde creating space with the feet now, space and time to get that jab on target and set up those hard right hands. Levy still moving the feet, still angling, but now Carly stopping her with that left jab like she did in the first two rounds."

Cassie: "What a weapon that left hand of hers is. Reminds me of Stewart's."

O'Dell: "Chaikin definitely making good use of it. She's turned the fight right back around. After a great round for Levy in the third, we're back to where we were in the first two, with the blonde having the better of things at range. And, still getting those hard right-hand follows on target."

McCarthy: "And, that's the key. Keep punishing this girl and she'll fold up."

O'Dell: "Thirty seconds left in the fourth round. Chaikin in firm control. Blonde has definitely shown everybody something in this, her FCBA debut. Another HARD combination from the blonde, forces the redhead to cover up. Five seconds to go, and there's the bell. For the third time in four rounds, Chaikin wide."

Tess: "And, Carly's back in top by two, 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Chaikin again looking to establish the jab early as we start the fifth. Levy going into a half crouch now, bobbing the head, keeping the hands up, giving the blonde less to hit. Jane inside, works the body. Chaikin tying up effectively now. Going to force a break and get back to the jab."

Tess: "Much better job inside by Chaikin there."

O'Dell: "Levy again angling in close, working body. Carly tying up. Jane shoving free briefly to land a hard right to the head, but Chaikin wrapping around the head and the ref steps in to break once again. Levy not worried by it, right back in close, thumping that midsection before the blonde wraps her up again."

McCarthy: "Smart stuff for Chaikin. Not going to let Weirdo's girl dictate."

O'Dell: "That, she is not, but Carly unable to dictate with the jab, either, and, as a result, we've had a close round for the first time in the bout. Levy again slips inside the jab, works some body, lands a HARD right to the head. Chaikin ties up, hangs on, forces a break and there's the bell. Close, but the points go to Jane."

Cassie: "And, Chaikin's lead again down to a single point, 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Same again to start the second half, with Chaikin trying to give ground and maintain space while Levy presses forward, working past the glove, getting inside, and banging away. Blonde keeping those exchanges short by tying up and forcing breaks. Nice right hook from Jane, but, again, Carly ties her up and the referee breaks the fighters."

Tess: "Chaikin showing a lot of smarts for a girl in her FCBA debut."

O'Dell: "And, she's a cool customer in there, too. Not getting flustered, staying sound, sticking with the fight plan. Again, Levy inside. Chaikin ties up and JANE LANDS A SHORT UPPIE AND DOWN GOES CARLY! Chaikin dropped by a right uppercut that sits her in the middle of the ring!"

Cassie: "Heck of a punch, Jenny!"

O'Dell: "Sure was. Levy to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Carly getting to her feet at six. Ref gives her the mandatory and will waive on Jane. And Levy a BUZZ SAW in there, winging away at the blonde, battering her back into the ropes, WOBBLING THE KNEES with a left hook! Chaikin in deep trouble. SHORT RIGHT HAND! Carly wobbled again and it's OVER! Ref leaping in to stop it and your winner by TKO6 is 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Jane Levy, and, Jane, she got off to a pretty good start, and didn't go away even when you got going..."

Jane: "My fault. Too aggressive early. I wanted to get after her, because I don't LIKE her. But, I let that get in the way of fighting my fight and I put myself in a hole."

Tess: "You dug out of it, though..."

Jane: "No doubt I was going to do that. SHE is not beating ME, EVER. Mark that down. Never. EVER."
