BEFORE:

"You know," says Gaga with a smile, "Front Street and I go way back. And, I've taken a toll on this stable. So, give Wiz credit for bringing me back. Of course, Jennette isn't going to be giving him any credit when we're done..."

"Gaga beat some girls who USED to be here," says Jennette with a shrug, "Well. There are reasons why those girls aren't here and I am, you know?"

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Edge of Glory', and, being carried down to ringside on a lounge by six well-built gentlemen is the singer of that song, Lady Gaga!"

McCarthy: "And, I'll say it again. This is RIDICULOUS! Being CARRIED to the ring! I've never HEARD of such a thing..."

Tess: "I can remember some fights with Neve Campbell where YOU had to be carried OUT of the ring..."

McCarthy: "WHAT...I NEVER...YOU...SHUT UP, JAILBIRD!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as Gaga is helped off with the robe to reveal a leopard print number that's got the crowd's attention in a big way...and, that's 'Lust For Life' by Iggy Pop you hear behind us, and here comes 'The Answer', Jennette McCurdy!"

McCarthy: "And, the way this girl is going, the question is, 'who's the next flyweight failure to get kicked to the curb by Weirdo'..."

Cassie: "Jennette's in no danger of that, but, you might have noticed that, in the latest BWO rankins, Jennette was the lowest-ranking Front Street flyweight...not somewhere she wants to be in a crowded division."

Tess: "Which means she needs a win tonight."

O'Dell: "McCurdy into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that black and white striped number we've seen before. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Jennette. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Gaga's nothing special, but she can beat THIS Dancing Hooker. Gaga!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway...and, Gaga getting physical early, stepping right to Jennette and letting the hands go. No surprise, as this is Lady G's style. And, it's worked against Front Street fighters before. Jennette standing in, banging back, and we've got an early firefight here, Mac!"

McCarthy: "U used to LOVE being in fights like these, just getting right down to it early. Used to get the blood pumping!"

O'Dell: "Nobody taking a backward step and they are HAVING AT IT! Crowd popping as big punches are exchanged. GOOD right hand from Gaga, and McCurdy follows with one of her own! Lady G digging some body now and Jennette responds to THAT in kind, too. A little 'anything you can do I can do better' in there..."

Tess: "And, we'll find out who actually CAN do it better presently."

O'Dell: "At the moment, not a lot in it. Gaga lathering those flanks. Ladies with head on shoulder, just ripping body. Clinching now. Referee in to break them up, but they are right back to work. Ten seconds to go in the round. GOOD right by Gaga and there's the bell. Close, but Lady G gets the first."

Cassie: "And the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with more phone booth work. McCurdy lands a solid left hook that backs up Gaga and FOLLOWS WITH A RIGHT HAND AND LADY G IS HURT! Gaga stumbling backward and HERE COMES JENNETTE! McCurdy letting the hands go in a big way, battering Gaga back into the ropes!"

Cassie: "She's thinking 'finish' right now, and that's not a bad idea with the terms they're fighting on."

O'Dell: "Gaga with the guard high, putting the body on sale. Jennette buying select cuts, but not investing too heavily. Instead, it's more about looking for the 'off' button upstairs. McCurdy getting off lusty, but Gaga rolling with, blocking punches, jabbing back in spots, keeping the referee at bay."

Tess: "And, he's looking in there closely."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch. McCurdy going body in a big way now. Seems like she's figuring she's not going to get Gaga out of there, so she might as well put some dings in the chassis. Final seconds ticking off the clock and there's the bell. McCurdy evens things up, taking the second wide."

McCarthy: "19-19 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "McCurdy after Gaga early in the third. Lady G giving some ground. Keeping the hands up, playing defense. Jennette looking to clean up after that last round and SHE GETS CAUGHT WITH A RIGHT HAND COUNTER! Gaga with that sneaky power and McCurdy is GOBSMACKED in there!"

McCarthy: "ANOTHER Front Street flyweight about to be prone at Gaga's feet!"

O'Dell: "That's Lady G's plan, anyway. She's winging away, driving Jennette back into the ropes and then hammering away. McCurdy now in the position Gaga was in the previous round, guard high, trying to block and roll with punches, all while looking to keep the referee from stepping in."

Cassie: "And, Gaga looking to get him in there. She's doing a little body work, but, like Jennette last round, concentrating upstairs."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Gaga a SOLID right hook that McCurdy felt. Jennette tying up. Gaga shoves her off, stacks her up, goes body. McCurdy ties up again. Forces the ref to come in and break the ladies apart.Younger girl circles off the ropes. seems to have some leg back. Five seconds to go. Jennette jabbing the round away and there's the bell. Gaga. Wide."

Tess: "And, it's 29-28 in Gaga's favor."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Gaga right back in Jennette's grill to start the fourth. Older woman wants to bring the physical and that's exactly what she's doing. Meanwhile, McCurdy firing back in kind, digging body, landing short hooks and uppies to the head. Lots of heavy leather being landed in there, Mac..."

McCarthy: "No doubt about it. Everybody committing on punches right now."

O'Dell: "Gaga working the ribs. McCurdy digs a left hook to the belly and WOBBLES GAGA WITH A RIGHT UPPERCUT! Lady G wobbled and McCurdy going all in. Jennette letting the hands go, thumping away, driving the singer back into the ropes. Front Streeter thinking 'finish' here, ladies..."

Tess: "Sure is, Jenny. Really letting the hands go..."

McCarthy: "When she says 'ladies', she doesn't mean criminals, Jailbird!"

Cassie: "SHUT UP, MAC!"

McCarthy: "What...you little..."

O'Dell: "Let's concentrate on the ring, where McCurdy is working to find the 'off' switch and Gaga is keeping the hands high, running clock, and doing a good job of it. Lady G jabbing back in spots, keeping the referee away. Ten seconds to go in the round. McCurdy back to the body and there's the bell. Jennette wide. But, Gaga still standing."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Into the fifth with McCurdy pressing the issue now. Younger woman wants to clean up, despite the fact that the last effort to do that didn't turn out all that well. She's stepping to Gaga, backing her up. Lady G trying to hold canvas, firing back, but doesn't appear to have the legs to make that happen right now."

Cassie: "And, until she does, Jennette's got to keep pushing."

O'Dell: "That appears to be her feeling. Front Streeter sitting down on everything, really giving it to Gaga with both hands. NICE right hand counter from Lady G and MCCURDY BLASTS HER WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT! Gaga staggered and Jennette drops her with a BLISTERING combination!"

Tess: "And, that just might do it!"

O'Dell: "Gaga down on her right side. McCurdy to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Not a lot of movement from Gaga right now. Six. Seven. Lady G rolls to her belly. Eight. Nine. She's going to get no further. TEN! And, it's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is 'The Answer', Jennette McCurdy!"

McCarthy: "And, lucky punches abound like criminal charges against Walmart!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Jennette McCurdy, and, Jennette, big win for you, considering the competition you have in the division here at Front Street."

Jennette: "I don't worry about that, Tess. I worry about stuff I can control...like what happens in the ring. And, I took care of that business tonight."

Tess: "It wasn't easy."

Jennette: "And, I knew it wouldn't be. She's caused a lot of problems for this stable. But. For every problem someone has caused a Front Street flyweight, there's an ANSWER. And, you're looking at her."
