Intro:
The next fight sees Hilary Rhoda and Brooklyn Decker meet after their heated exchange on last months PPV, now they head to Monaco's Casino de Monte-Carlo.

Hilary is 31 years old; she stands 5'11 and holds a record of 19 wins, all by knockout and 6 defeats, she is a former FCBA welterweight champion.

Brooklyn is also 31 years old; she stands 5'9 and holds a record of 38 wins, 27 by knockout and 14 defeats, she is a former FCBA lightweight champion.

The fighters were interviewed at their gyms, with Hilary finishing running on the treadmill in the gym, heading over to the press, she waves at them as she looks happy to see them.

When she is asked about being put on her arse by Brooklyn after she beat Sophie Howard, Hilary's face turns red as clearly remembers her embarrassing moment.

"Listen! Brooklyn is a big bytch, who the f*** thinks that was funny what she did... She is a f***ing coward!" Yells Hilary as her temper flares.

After taking a breath; Hilary menacingly says "you keep watch what I do to her, I am going to show her what embarrassment is" before storming off to go spar with a possibly unlucky Joan Smalls.

The Lioness gym is a much more happier place, Brooklyn is being interviewed as she sits on the ring apron.

When she is asked about Hilary, she laughs and says "that stick figure? I hear all the talk of how she is a great welterweight, let's be frank, she is someone who got to the top in a weak division, now it is strong! She is just another name"

Pointing over at her manager, she adds "I want to make this clear; without him I wouldn't be where I am, I feel so much more rounded as a fighter because I can nice and down in weights, I feel the strongest I ever have, I have better all round skills and I know I can become the welterweight champion, so I give him all the thanks in the world for that"

Brooklyn nods at her manager with a big smile, before she goes to back to training with Claudia Schiffer shouting her over.

Fight night; out comes Hilary with Melanie Sykes and Eva Carneiro by her sides, she looks focused as she marches to the ring, banging her gloves together as she goes.

She is wearing a black sports bra, matching trunks with a gold Queen slayer badge on her left pant leg, black gloves and shoes, her brunette hair is up in a ponytail.

Stepping into the ring; Hilary heads over to her corner and nods at Melanie as she shadow boxes, going through her tactics as she waits for her opponent.

Who comes out with Claudia behind her, Brooklyn is grinning as she heads down the aisle, her eyes locked onto the ring.

She is wearing a baby blue sports bra, blue trunks with white strips down the sides, blue gloves and shoes, her blonde hair is up in a ponytail too.

Getting into the ring; Brooklyn waves to the fans and mockingly winks at Hilary, seeing the anger on her opponent's face seems to give her delight as she heads over to her corner.

Once they are warmed up; they are waved to come to the ring center by the referee, where they square up to each other, silently burning a hole with their eyes through the other.

After the instructions are finished, they are told to touch gloves, with Hilary shaking her head and instead telling Brooklyn "you're mine bytch" with both turning and jogging to their corners.

The referee signals for the timekeeper to ring the bell, starting 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Out come fighters with their eyes locked behind their gloves, they trade stiff punches anywhere they see gaps as they dance around on their toes.
Hilary throws a left up top that lands off the gloves of her opponent, then lands a right into the ribs, followed by a left around the guard.
As she looks to step back; Brooklyn catches Hilary with a right across her cheek as she shows off her hand speed.
Both women have success as they step in and trade, getting into a stalemate as they each land hard shots through the others gloves.
Till Brooklyn slips under an attempted right hook from her opponent, coming up with an overhand right across her cheek and landing a left across the lips of the brunette.
That allows Brooklyn to drive Hilary back towards a corner with her punches bashing off the gloves of the bigger fighter.
Hilary surprises Brooklyn by pulling her around in a grapple and forces Brooklyn into the corner with a shocked look, especially when she gets caught across her face with a right.
The dying seconds of the round sees both women let their hands go, slugging it out as Brooklyn tries to get out the corner.
The round ends with both Hilary and Brooklyn staring hard, before Brooklyn barges past her opponent, the referee is quick to step in front of Hilary to stop her going for Decker.
Neither woman looks happy as they chat to their coaches over how to change things up to get an advantage over their opponent.
Round 2:
As the round begins, it's clear that Hilary seems to have a gameplan now, she keeps on the outside as Brooklyn comes forwards.
When Brooklyn tries to get in closer; Hilary lands a double jab to the top of her head, with Hilary starting to use her reach advantage to keep Brooklyn to the outside.
Brooklyn looking annoyed as her attempts to come forwards keep getting cancelled out by the footwork and jab of her opponent.
The blonde smartly feints with her left, watching for the movement of Hilary, this time she slips under the jab and bangs away to the body of Rhoda.
Driving the brunette towards the ropes, when Hilary tries to wrestle Brooklyn onto the ropes, it instead leads to a wrestling match with the powerful women snarling as they shove each other.
The referee breaks them up and warns them to keep things clean, the fighters begrudgingly touch gloves, commentators stating that's for show only, no respect between these two.
The reminding seconds of the round sees both women go toe to toe, slamming punches into the others cheeks as they roar at each other.
The bell rings with the referee nudging the fighters apart as they continue, both women jogging to their corners looking angry on their marked up faces.
Round 3:
The fighters come out and circle each other, Hilary landing cleaner punches of the two early as she controls the pace.
Hilary keeping the blonde back with punches digging into the face, marking up Brooklyn's face as she dances around her opponent.
Till Brooklyn parries a straight and comes inside to land a right to the body and follows up with two overhand punches that knocks Hilary onto her heels.
Brooklyn dips under an attempted left cross, countering with an uppercut that knocks Rhoda's head back and allows Decker to begin bullying her opponent on the ropes.
As Hilary's back touches the ropes; she looks to fight her way off them, Brooklyn though has room to bob and weave her way out of trouble, while countering with punches landing to the body and face of her opponent.
The round ends with Brooklyn smirking as she jogs to her corner, Claudia is all smiles as she returns, getting her face washed down as she gets told to keep this up.
Across the ring; Hilary looks up at the ceiling and looks ready to scream, Melanie kneels in front of her and gets her to look at her as she tells Hilary to just relax, use her skills to batter Brooklyn.
Round 4:
Brooklyn looks to keep on top of her opponent, keep moving her head out the way of the jabs from Hilary, then moving in close to work.
She is starting to stick and move to keep Hilary guessing where the next attack is coming, landing two or three punches at a time and taking minimal hits in return.
But as she comes in close this time; Hilary moving back and sidestepping her, then a right comes across the top of Brooklyn's head.
Hilary gets her rhythm going; moving forwards with her left shoving the head of Brooklyn back, then landing a right hook to begin knocking Brooklyn back.
Decker moves around the outside of the ring, now that she is near the ropes though, she is struggling to dodge punches, allowing Rhoda to land her punches to land to the face of the blonde.
When Brooklyn looks to step in, Hilary cracks her across the cheek with a right and a double jab to force Brooklyn onto the ropes.
Where Hilary hammers away at the guard of Brooklyn in the late part of the round, keeping Brooklyn stuck on the ropes till the bell rings to end the round.
Hilary looking desperate to continue, holding back her temper enough to jog back to her corner, Melanie tells her "that's what I want to see from you, you are the best at this weight, prove it!"
While Brooklyn bangs her gloves together and asks Claudia "god how stupid am I?" Getting the reply to keep her head up and get on the move"
Round 5:
Both fighters dance around each other early, slamming jabs through the others mitts as Brooklyn looks to keep off the ropes this time.
It leads to both women scoring with straights and jabs, dodging the bigger punches from their opponents with head movement.
Hilary lands a jab to the top of Brooklyn's head and moves out the way of an attempted overhand right, countering with two punches straight onto the face of her opponent.
The brunette begins to take control of the action, slamming her punches between the mitts of Brooklyn to force her back towards the ropes.
With a right hook catching Brooklyn in the side of her head to make her stumble into the ropes, when Hilary tries to land more power shots, Brooklyn pulls her into a clinch.
The referee needed to pry them apart as Hilary spits insults at Brooklyn, telling her she ain't good enough to be in her ring.
Hilary looks to keep the pressure on Brooklyn when they are told to continue, with her punches slamming into the gloves and forearms of the defending Decker.
The round ends with Brooklyn getting a shove from Hilary, who as the referee rushes between them, tells Brooklyn that she is going to put her on her ass soon.
Once back in their corners; Hilary gets washed down and told to keep this going, Melanie looking all smiles as she tells her fighter what to do next.
While in the Lioness corner, Brooklyn takes a deep breath to keep herself calm, Claudia is yelling at her to pick up the pace or face Hilary being right, which neither wants.
Round 6:
Hilary starts off strong with her punches landing off the gloves of her opponent, with a double jab landing to the top of Brooklyn's head to knock it back.
As Hilary takes the ring centre; she keeps Brooklyn around the outside of the ring, finding holes in her opponent's guard to keep her back.
But as she looks to step in with a left cross; Brooklyn dipping underneath and landing two short sharp punches to the body.
When Hilary steps back; Brooklyn comes up with an overhand left and an uppercut combo that knocks Hilary onto her heels.
Hilary covering up as she finds herself being driven onto the ropes, where when she tries to fight back it's Brooklyn landing the better punches.
Hooks to the ribs of Hilary makes her groan out, with Hilary able to land a left hook up top and a straight to knock Decker back.
The brunette tries to step into space; with Brooklyn parrying a straight, then she lands an overhand right to knock Hilary back.
Brooklyn forcing Hilary to slug it out with her in close, the crowd stand and roar for their favourite as they land stiff shots across the others face.
The round ends with the girls squaring up to each other, eyes locked as the fighters spit insults, the referee needing to push both apart with coaches out to pull their fighters back to their corners.
Both fighters needing to be washed down, their cheeks are swelling up and red marks on their bodies, eyes locked across the ring as they hate each other.
Round 7:
Both women get in close early; Hilary looks to be winning the early exchange as she lands two cross punches to force Brooklyn to retreat back.
Hilary uses the momentum to drive forwards with her punches slamming off the guard of Brooklyn, whose keeping towards the ropes as she moves side to side.
Stepping forwards with a straight that sails over the head of Brooklyn, she leaves herself open to a hard right under her ribs as Brooklyn moves past her.
With Brooklyn next nudging Hilary back with a left shoulder bump, then lands an overhand right across the chin of Hilary that opens up the bigger girls guard.
Brooklyn powers forwards with an uppercut drive that has Hilary reeling onto the ropes, WHERE TWO HOOKS CRASH ACROSS HER CHIN TO SEND HILARY CRUMBLING TO THE CAVAS!
The referee nudges Brooklyn back as she yells at Hilary to stay down, 1...2...3...4 Hilary rolls from her front to her back, her left arm hanging under the rope on the apron, 5...6...7 Hilary only can groan as the count continues 8...9...10 getting counted out in the end!

Winner Brooklyn Decker KO Round 7

After:
It was said before this fight by pundits that this fight would be the litmus test for Brooklyn's title hopes, well she has passed the test with a resounding knockout of a former welterweight champion.

Brooklyn pounding her chest with her right fist, marching around the ring as she celebrates with a lap, the crowd chanting her name as the glassy eyed Hilary can only stare at her.

The ringside doctor is out to check on Hilary, using smelling salts to help her out her stupor, before helping her to sit-up so they can run more tests.

Brooklyn smirks as she heads past Hilary on her lap, heading to her corner to get a hug from Claudia as the Lioness coach looks mightily proud of her fighter.

While across the ring, Hilary is on her stool after being helped there, with tears streaming down her face, she was supposed to get her revenge on Brooklyn, instead she is crying her eyes out over defeat to her.

Brooklyn gets her gloves taken off as she marches over to the Girls Friday corner, Melanie stepping between her and Hilary as Brooklyn taunts her beaten foe.

Insulting Hilary on not being good enough to be in the ring with her, with Melanie telling her that's enough and to go back to her corner.

Brooklyn smirks as she tells Melanie "be careful you don't trip again old woman" which leads to Mel shoving Brooklyn and if not for Claudia, we might have a fight between the coach and Decker.

Who gets told off Claudia not to push her luck, laughing but listening to her coach as she heads back to her corner to get a drink.

Hilary meanwhile thanks Melanie for defending her as they leave the ring, Eva consoling Hilary as they head back to their locker room.

In the ring; Brooklyn gets her hand raised to a loud chant from her fans, she shouts "I'll win the title for all of you guys!" Smiling as she signs with her hands the belt around her waist.

It'll be interesting to see whether Brooklyn will be in line now for an FCBA welterweight title shot, she definitely showed tonight she can beat the elite.

For now though she leaves the ring with her corner crew, Brooklyn high fiving several people as she heads up the aisle to her locker room.
