KAYLA ITSINES VS. CAITY LOTZ(Words: Holloway / Results: Lookout!)

Both of these fighters have had two fights this year, these being Kayla's only fights as well. They've both won and lost one. Itsines to Santoro and Smith, Lotz to Acker and Cassidy. Both girls are trying to impress their new stables and are athletic enough to put up quite a fight tonight. Lotz is an inch taller than Itsines and a few pounds heavier, but Itsines is the more toned of the two. Which girl will come out victorious?

"My stablemate, Allison Holker, had her first victory against Caity Lotz. I'm just as athletic as Allison and Caity has been gaining some weight recently, slacking up a little if you know what I mean. This should be a piece of cake" says Kayla.

"Sure, Holker beat me. That was my only fight of that year. Management was tough and I wasn't getting many fights arranged. But I am now, I'm back and I'm taking the bantamweight division by storm" replies Caity.

ROUND 1

Out come both fighters with their guards high tonight. They're testing each other, feeling their oponent's strength, finding mostly gloves after any punches. Caity tries to land the first big punch of the match but misses her australian opponent, who steps forward and lands a two punch combo the abs of the blonde. Lotz steps back to try and counter, but is surprised yet again by a jab to the chin. They move away from each other and after a quick stare, go at it again. It's an easy, quiet round and not much action takes place. It is Kayla, nonetheless, who ultimately takes the round.

ROUND 2

Itsines looks confident, she recently had her first win against one of the most athletic women in the league and feels on top of the world. Caity's no joke, however, and is just as muscular as the dancer the brunette faced before. Caity launches a couple of jabs, but Kayla waves away from harm and lands a quick but strong uppercut that stuns the blonde. She follows it up with a couple of hooks to the ribs and then another one to the toned abs of the actress. Lotz has to put up her arms in defense and the round follows this same structure. Itsines is slowly building up points against the american.

ROUND 3

Caity and Kayla get right back into battle as the bell rings. Lotz needs a win, but so does Kayla. Both fighters circle at a distance, they examine each other. Shots are fired, some touch leather, some touch skin. Their toned bodies get bruised, their pretty faces soon follow. Caity scores a quick right and shakes the australian girl, she follows it up with a hook to the abs and sends her into the ropes with a blow to the head. Itsines moves away. Lotz follows. The blonde launches a few jabs, trying to take her first round, but Itsines surprises her with a punch of her own and the round is over before she can do much more. It is a tie.

ROUND 4

Lotz hasn't won a round, she looks desperate. She's quicker, basically jumps to the centre of the ring and blows surround the brunette. But Kayla's defense is no joke. It's sloppy, sure, but the girl is fast, she has a great amount of stamina. Caity follows the smaller girl around, trying to bully her with body blows, but Itsines takes them and counters with punches of her own. Both girls find themselves yet again at a standstill, neither being able to dominate the other. One last uppercut to the chin that almost takes the australian out ultimately secures the blonde her first round.

ROUND 5

This round sees both fighters meet midring, both look in pretty good shape and start battling it out as soon as the bell indicates them to do so. The brunette launches her right hook onto Caity's left cheek and opens her up with a left to the ribs. Lotz takes a step back, but immediatley takes one forward. She's not falling down to Itsines. The blonde puts up her defense. She lets the australian get tired, hit the leather of her gloves. After a minute of it, it's time to strike. Caity jumps forward and hits the ribs of the brunett with a good left. Kayla clinches. Caity lands a right, then a left again, then an uppercut to the chin. The actress has some of the strongest punches in the division, she knows how to throw a punch. And Itsines is not yet very good at taking them. Lotz punches her straight in the eye and watches with pride as her opponent falls to the ground, defeated, just two minutes into the match. It's over.
