Mia Kang vs Courtney Tailor(Words: VIXENS / Results: Lookout!)

Mia:
(29, 5’9, 1:3 FCBA, The Fighting Academy)

Courtney:
(22, 5’8, 6:5 FCBA, Odds & Ends Fight Studio)

BEFORE:
These two beauties coming off a bitter loss recently, both falling to alpha blondes in respective weight classes: Mia to Margot Robbie, and Courtney to none other than Ms Brooklyn Decker herself. They face off on this month’s PPV with something other to prove than their good looks and charm.

“Mia’s record speaks for itself,” Courtney laughing to reporters ringside amidst the chanting of her name from the rafters. “The only win she’s had was against Paige, and that’s saying something!”

Mia of course responding with a scoff of her own, blowing back her long brown hair with a whiff. “Courtney’s lost her past three fights. Let *that* sink in for a moment. She’s been beaten and beaten and then beaten again. And tonight, that inevitable history’s only going to repeat itself.”

Girls chesting into one another, and for all intents and purposes, this face-off reminds us of a JMDD fight in the making. Mia in that signature red bikini that’s fit for a sexy SI spread and not for fighting, whereas Courtney not much better: white bikini bottoms and a black top, ready to throw down as well.

HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Blonde and brunette have a slow first round when the bell rings, circling and jabbing at the head on and off. Not surprising, given that both girls have the built made for brawling, being heavier set and capable of throwing a significant punch if they managed to land. It’s for this reason that both Mia and Courtney seen as biding their time, a little hesitant to get in close to brawl, but it’s Courtney who initiates first, trying her hand at a jab-jab-hook combo that mostly lands on the forearms. The pounding barely stuns her, before Mia fires back with: two fast, straight hands that almost catch Courtney on the face, but at least that third hook swung low strikes gold as it lands on the blonde’s ribcage. There’s a low gurgle as Tailor did NOT anticipate that, bending over and hugging her body before being forced to defend against further rapid strikes at her head. The rest of the round sees the blonde on the defensive, Mia showing more confidence at being able to hit and hurt her opponent. A wide round for Kang, by our estimate, as she manages to dictate the movement in this opening contest.

ROUND 2:
Caution is the name of the game, with both girls circling left, then right, and moving forward and backward in tandem. Mia showing some early aggression, jabbing at Courtney’s head, with Tailor moving back fast each time, showing herself a little squeamish at the idea of going down for the count four times in a row. Odds and Ends management obviously can’t have that possibility, shouting at their girl to get in there and fire away. Courtney however too busy dealing with Mia’s constant punches and advances on her, but the blonde manages to parry a right hand in the middle half of the round, before a right hand of her own is buried into the brunette’s side, and another left slams into the middle of her guard, sending Mia hurtling backwards. Blonde’s turn to shine in there, coming forward and making up for lost time. She has Mia on the run all of a sudden, driving her backwards about the ring and hoping for some much needed payback! Wide round goes back the other way as both girls are effectively tied!

ROUND 3:
Now that playtime is over, here we go with both girls CLASHING in the middle of the ring with sudden ferocity! They’re trading leather to the head and body, all of a sudden not caring about getting hurt. Looks like they both received some pep talk during the downtime, but we’re still not too sure if their corners gave them the best advice here, with both these girls eating significant punishment. Mia going after the body and chest, pummeling fists into Courtney’s sides, whereas Tailor not remotely affected or budging from the blows, balling her own fists and knocking some hard ones into the chin and side of Mia’s head. Mia seeing stars after a hard hook swivels her face to the side, sending her stumbling. This could be it! Courtney giving chase, but finds a lack of targets when Mia turtles up behind her forearms, but giving the blonde plenty of chances to pay her back to the tummy. Mia grunting as her insides worked over, but at least she’s in no danger of going down just yet… Round ends and there’s been some solid action from either side, but Courtney’s attempt to wobble her foe late in the round swings the points in her favour.

ROUND 4:
Mia however looking as determined as ever to fight back, with a growl comes barreling forwards once the bell rings for the fourth. Courtney also advancing, but slightly shocked when Mia jumps into her space with a powerful right hand crashing into her forearms, almost taking her head off. Blonde girl being driven back into her own corner, with Mia just wailing away with all her might. This is how badly she wants that knockdown and eventual recognition, folks! Courtney taking some strong swipes at her belly, but wisely covering up her vulnerable chin as she takes the beating well by remaining calm in there. Third minute and she attempts to fight back somewhat, using lulls in Mia’s exhaustion to ram punches back into the girl’s chin and chest, pushing her back a couple of steps. But it’s too late to salvage the round in her favour, with Mia undoubtedly walking away with another round firmly in her corner.

ROUND 5:
Round 5 and we’re looking to have a tie-break here… Mia with a great showing in the last round but clearly panting hard and trying to catch her breath in the next. Courtney senses an opening here and takes it, raised eyebrow when a jab lands on Mia’s cheek without hindrance, then another and another sting her body and chest as Mia looks to be having trouble seeing the incoming punches coming at her in time. The SI bombshell getting pushed backwards early on as a result, with Tailor just picking up her hand speed like a rocket fired into space, each successful combination gaining more and more momentum. Another series of jabs land on her foe’s chin, shoving the brunette’s head and torso backwards, with Mia blinking back tears. Kang attempts a revival by swinging a hook that flies too far upwards, way off point, allowing Courtney to easily duck under before delivering a brutal uppercut to the chin! AND SENDS MIA CRUMPLING TO THE GROUND!! Is this fight over!?

The spectators surely on their feet with a roar as Courtney herself raises her arms in self-assured victory. Mia on her side, turning over to her belly and crawling to the ropes with all her strength… Referee however reaching the count of 10 and the poor girl’s barely made it back up to her knees! He calls for the official bell!

Official Decision: Courtney Tailor defeats Mia Kang via KO5!

AFTER:
Courtney Tailor beats Mia Kang and also her current losing streak, in what promises to be a natural comeback for the blonde in defiance of her string of losses. There’s a big smile on her face as she tells reporters after:

“What did I tell you? I beat her resoundingly tonight, and what this means is that I can also beat *anyone* else in this division. Mia didn’t stand a chance in there and I barely even broke a sweat!” she grins.

Mia still slumped in a corner, shaking her head at her trainer’s and the medic’s words of meaningless reassurance. The girl surely has potential, but going up against a former JMDD challenger for the crown certainly didn’t help her chances here tonight. Let's see whether her future looks brighter.
