Bella Thorne (20, 5’8, 120 lbs, 18:5 FCBA, The Dollhouse) Vs. Margot Robbie (28, 5'6, 126 lbs, 20:14 FCBA, Chimera)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse
BEFORE: “I think Margot is f*cking hot,” Bella Thorne chuckles as she speaks to reporters backstage.
We get the feeling that the current JMD champion means it fully as a compliment as she sizes her opponent for tonight up.
“She’s also a pretty decent boxer. No sh*t, right? Thorne laughs. “So...I gotta bring my A-game tonight. But you guys already know I’m on my A-game, don’t cha? I just beat the f*cking champion last month!” Bella exclaims as she sticks out her tongue and flexes those biceps for emphasis. “I know this isn’t a JMD match, but it doesn’t f*cking matter. Margot just lost to Chopra, she’s what? Like….36 years old? I mean…damn….You’re SO not beating ME tonight, Robs. I’m totally ready to mess up that gorgeous face!” Thorne looks at Margot from across the table with a smirk, trying to intimidate her opponent yet complimenting her at the same time, trying to get into her headspace.
Well, if she was hoping to do either, she’s in for a disappointment, with Margot having done this dance many times before. The Australian actress simply grinning back at her from the other end of the press table, before responding calmly into the mic.
“This little *girl* thinks she’s really on top of the world, doesn’t she? She may be the champion of a little-known, fully made-up-of-nowhere title, but trust me - she hasn’t hanged and banged and danced with someone like me in the ring. I’m not after her title tonight. Not at all. I’m merely looking forward to shutting that cocky mouth up and spoil this big party a bit, for the betterment of society. Can’t freaking wait. Bring it, Bella.”
Both girls’ comments drawing ooohs and aaaahs from the audience, with Thorne throwing some last minute shade back at her when both girls are simultaneously escorted from the room, less an altercation erupts prematurely.
Later on, their entrances are as expected of two ladies at the top of their games: Margot entering first as the challenger and guest of this Doll Ball, flashing that Aussie-stunner of a smile as she waves confidently at the audience members clad in a white sports bra and black yoga pants, blonde hair in a bun, and donning black gloves to round off that classy-look. Bella Thorne’s entrance considered extravagant by contrast, but hey, this here’s her home turf, and she can celebrate however she likes. Purple streaks line her black lycra tights and bra, with of course her glittering JMD championship bra hanging on her shoulder as she makes her way down the ramp. Despite fighting at home turf, Its hard to say if Bella is even the crowd favorite here tonight, with Margot Robbie being the big star she is, garnering AT LEAST the same amount of noise levels here in the arena tonight!
In the ring, both girls surprisingly tame as they follow the ref’s instructions, even touching gloves right before the fight starts. Well, there’s a first time for everything! And HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!
ROUND 1: Both ladies with a surprisingly tame opening bell as they come forward to box only with small steps and some light jabbing at each other’s direction. For Bella’s tough words, she seems actually a little hesitant to wade in and brawl with the bigger, sturdier blonde, who’s definitely packing some power behind her larger frame, as evident from past knockouts of Holly Valance and Olivia Munn. Dare we say even that Bella’s fighting a little scared in the first round, flicking those light jabs at Margot’s face, but showing herself squeamish as she jumps backwards whenever she gets a sense of Robbie’s advance towards her being. Margot therefore smirking behind her own gloves, taking the light shots with nary any damage, but banging back on Thorne’s guard repeatedly and even managing to score a couple of swipes off the champion’s chest and tummy towards the end of the round. First round goes to Margot’s corner by a wide margin, therefore. Bella needs to get confident in there, and confident fast.
ROUND 2: Wise decision from Thorne as she begins to adapt to Margot’s tactics. Bella opting to use her feet a whole lot more this time, circling to the side repeatedly and therefore managing to score more often off her body and flanks. Margot wincing as the jabs start landing, but make no mistake if you think the Aussie stunner is ready to go down just yet. She’s doing her best to face down Bella each time she rotates and swerves in front of her, but her speed is just no match for the Doll, with those jabs and hooks barely hitting anything for the entire three minutes. When the bell finally rings here, Margot’s the one left winded and no longer smiling, whereas Bella confidently sticking out her tongue her opponent’s way, then at the audience, exclaiming to her own corner, “f*ck yea! Got this big cat in the bag…”
ROUND 3: Margot not pleased with the previous round’s performance, but what else can she do but push on? This girl is not even in her 30s yet, folks, lest we forget. She spends the first minute playing cautious, hanging back and taking some jabs to her forearms, before SPRINGING forward like that so-called cat ready to pounce all this while, and stunning Thorne with some rapid-fire return shots to her body! Bella was getting complacent back there, and takes some damage in the brief exchange that leaves her circling back and heaving hard from the damage taken. The champion tries again to circle and punch towards the end of the round, but is understandably much more worried that she might get caught in the blonde’s crossfire. Robbie knows she’s very much in control as a result, content with letting the time run out, with her chasing the redhead scared towards the bell.
ROUND 4: F*ck this, the JMD champ seems to say - Bella defying any logic or reason as she comes out guns blazing out of her corner, stalking forward and aiming straight for the gates of hell. Margot herself raising one eyebrow as her prey comes marching straight towards her, but doesn’t have much time to respond otherwise, especially when Bella starts snapping punches into her head. The first of the flurries are no good, only hitting leather, but then they succeed in driving Robbie backwards from the sheer number of them. Bella expertly alert despite her blind charge, swerving left/right when Margot tries to take her out with a hook or two in response. Girls trading more tummy shots towards the middle mark, finding each other’s bodies exposed and ripe for digging in hands. This becomes cue for Bella to all of a sudden retreat, flying all the way back across the ring to where she started, again to Margot’s surprise when she swipes at empty space. But when the bell rings, it’s Bella Thorne with a raised arm and one cocky smile, knowing that she did more than enough to secure this round for herself.
ROUND 5: But you know what they say: fire’s often used to fight fire. Margot realising that she’s been played for a fool by the wry trickster, nostrils flaring as she herself CHARGES right out of the gate! But Bella Thorne would be considered a fool herself if she hadn’t considered the possibility of her opponent wanting revenge in this next round. Redhead flying out of her own corner from the start as well, but employing a bevy of evasive tactics instead, trying to out-run and out-pace the blonde’s wild foray into her own territory. Bella doing well for the start at avoiding Margot’s lunging hands, but gets caught when a powerful straight reaches in a little too close for her comfort, thereby stunning her clean in the body! Margot licking her lips as she storms right in, hammering at the champ’s lean frame, before a SHOCK of an uppercut takes Bella’s head backwards and up when it connects with her jawline! AND DOWN THE CHAMP GOES!! Poor Bella completely floored by that brutal blow to the chin, sending her crashing down to her side in a beautiful KNOCKDOWN in the middlemark of this fight!
“Hell yeah!” Margot roaring as she circles and shouts to the audience, thumping her chest with both fists. Bella Thorne looking shocked and bothered, scrambling to get back onto her feet with her mouth open and head still shaking the pain out hard. Referee’s count passing the middle point, but don’t you fret, Bella fans, because up the redhead comes by the end of the count of 8. Margot expected as much, looking pristine and smiling in her own corner as she stares directly at the hurting Thorne from across the ring.
ROUND 6: Margot bursting with all her remaining energy as she flies at the champion, looking to finish her off and press the advantage she secured earlier. Bella having to deal with her perhaps her toughest opponent to date, if we may say as much, dodging both a lethal combination of knockout power and agility in Robbie’s frame. Moment of caution at the end of the first minute when Bella eats that very combination of side-hook first into the body, then with a right swing that catches her flush on the cheek, sending her propelling into the ropes with a loud double grunt! Margot fuelled by the crowd’s own roar at another opportunity to end this fight right there and then, but by the time she reaches Bella on the ropes, the champ is already outta there, still having the presence of mind and of her surroundings to create as much distance as she can between them, in order to stay alive. In the final moments of the fight, Margot looking very much winded as a result of all that chasing, allowing Bella to resurgently snap a couple of jabs into her face from afar, once more relying on her speed to prevent a complete shutout for the blonde’s corner.
ROUND 7: We’re heading into the seventh, folks, and both girls have already been through quite a lot respectively. Bella’s own deadly combination of speed, stamina and reach is finally looking set to outlast Margot’s own stopping power. Robbie’s still breathing hard as she gets up from her stool, none of that energy left to make a beeline charge towards her opponent anymore. That’s perfectly fine by Thorne, who’s made a recovery from that earlier knockdown and now seeking one of her own, with repeated jabs that land on the blonde’s body and then smacking into her chin. Margot needs to do more to put her foe away, but this round sees her fans continuously groan on her behalf as she gets completely taken advantage of on behalf of Thorne! Still, if Bella was expecting that knockout here in the seventh, she’s a little disappointed when Margot’s still left standing at the bell - no doubt, she’s hanging onto the ropes, her chest heaving and body pockmarked red, but still standing regardless.
ROUND 8: Margot slightly more energetic when the bell rings, actually making it to the middle of ring and trying to deny Bella the same wipeout by giving her notice and then crowding her space out in there. Bella surprised initially when she takes a couple of shots into her forearms, but a return cross slammed into Margot’s nostrils has a bigger impact than she was expecting, with Robbie visibly wincing as she flails backwards. More targeted strikes now as Bella presses her advantage, clouting the blonde on her face, then the body, in alternate straight hands landing left and right, until Margot’s THROWN OFF HER FEET as she crashes down onto her side! It’s a return KNOCKDOWN for Bella Thorne!
Wow - we take back everything we said earlier about Thorne being a little twig thrown about in the wind! Here she proves that she certainly has the goods to take down someone as sturdy as Margot Robbie! The challenger looks dazed as she struggles to even find the ropes, still alive, but that late action causing her senses to get knocked clear into space. Referee finally hits the 10-count, a visible shock on the blonde’s face as she stares up at him from her hands and knees. Robbie was definitely looking to make a full recovery here if she had been given a couple more seconds but….alas! She is simply too slow and the ref waves for the bell! IT IS OVER LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
Official Decision: Bella Thorne defeats Margot Robbie via KO8!
AFTER: Cocky as usual celebration from Thorne, who immediately mounts the turnbuckle in her corner, sailing both hands up into the air and sticking her tongue out as she bares all her goods to the fans. Margot crestfallen as she slumps back down onto the canvas, her back leaning into the ropes. We genuinely feel that she might have made it back to her feet if she hadn’t misinterpreted the referee’s counting speed back there. But that ain’t no excuse. And now, she’s to suffer the consequences of losing to someone like Thorne.
Bella strutting over to her foe once she’s done celebrating, facing down Margot’s own menacing look on her face for her to stay the f*ck away. Unimpressed, Bella simply plants her boot on Margot’s chest, hissing “Please, Just shut up ok?” . Margot attempting to flail and slap Bella’s foot away, but the redhead quickly silences her protests by stomping her boot onto Margot’s soft tummy, knocking the air and any resistance from the big blonde, allowing the JMD champ to pose with her boot over the humbled blonde’s chest to her hearts content. All part of Thorne’s plan for dominance, with the flashing cameras capturing the wild poses she enacts on her beaten foe, and Bella even commenting to reporters later:
“That was pretty awesome. Very happy with the result! This just proves I should *seriously* get another title shot, like….ASAP. That Bantam belt totally needs to cover these abs, don’t you agree?” the Doll giggles at the cameras whilst doing a belt motion with her hands over her tight tummy before laughing her way backstage to some very loud cheers from her home fans. |
