Katheryn Winnick (40, 5’4, 122 lbs, 12:3 FCBA, The Dollhouse) Vs. Kim Kardashian (38, 5'2, 123 lbs, 7:20 FCBA, Free Agent)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse
BEFORE: Time for our second co-main event and next Bantamweight clash of the evening, and we have a second round between blonde and brunette, and a chance for Katheryn Winnick to redeem herself in the eyes of her fans. She didn’t do quite so well the last time she faced off against Kim Kardashian, but hearing what the blonde has to say this time, she sure as hell sounds as though this occasion is gonna be mighty different:
“I’m here to settle a score tonight. Kim got me pretty good last time, I will admit. I was far less experienced and I probably didn’t take her as seriously as I should have. She was pretty strong and can definitely punch, plus my defense wasn’t as polished enough. But it is now. I’ve gotten plenty of experience since then and the Doll Ball 10 is the perfect place for me to get my revenge. It took a while to get Kim to agree to this, but I’m glad to see she’s woman enough to give me this rematch. However, I’m ready for her this time. I really didn’t appreciate her post-fight antics the last time round, but well, tonight is gonna be my turn. You’re going down HARD, Kim.” Katheryn speaking directly to her opponent from across the table with that last statement, a confident smirk on her lips.
Which is just as easily returned from Kardashian’s corner, who’s looking like a coiled Persian cat goddess curled up in her leather chair, dismissing Katheryn’s words with a flick of her hair and roll of her eyes.
“Kathy, honey, it took a while because some of us actually have got other, more important things to do outside of fighting. You should feel lucky I’m giving you this opportunity, even though I already destroyed you once. All your martial arts training means nothing when you get in the ring with someone stronger and tougher, hon. I proved it the last time and I will be happy to prove it again tonight. I’m going to expose your overrated ass. I hope for your fans that you put up a better fight this time round, because your last effort was *truly* pathetic. I knocked you the f*ck down twice before the ref had to jump in and save you from these…” Kim holding both balled fists up for emphasis. “Tonight is going to be no different if it’s up to me, and it will be.”
Staredown infinitely more tense when compared to some of the previous fights on this card. The women get into a nose-to-nose showdown at the podium, continuing to banter words across each other’s lips, but thankfully there’s no altercation thereafter.
Both girls’ entrances are fully overblown and extravagant, as can be expected from girls of their calibre, with Kim showing off her staying power with plenty of fireworks going off together with diamond glitter falling from the ceiling. She’s wearing a tight bodysuit in black, donning red gloves later in the ring. Katheryn going for some gold-amber pyrotechnics, swirling beautifully in the air and mirroring her own hair colour tonight. She’s donning her traditional Doll Ball fighting outfit for good luck and blowing kisses to some of her fans once she’s gotten into the ring.
Referee goes through the final preamble and recitation of rules, but both women just look as though they can’t wait to plant leather into each other’s faces. HERE we go then, for the second time, with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!
ROUND 1: Bell rings and Kardashian immediately charging forward, eager to put Katheryn away the same way she did last time, if not even faster. Katheryn however anticipating this brazen move from her overeager opponent, and her first movements are towards the sides and back, looking to play the defensive game and score points that way. Kim’s aggression and initial energy though not to be discounted so easily: she’s scoring with some fast hands to Winnick’s guard, then, when denied, goes after the body with stiff jabs. All part of Winnick’s plan as well though, having been weathered enough and knowing what to expect with some hard knocks on her way to victory here tonight. Blonde girl evening out the score in the final minute, just as Kim starts to slow down from the fatigue, by snapping the brunette’s head backwards with some straight hand combos that land on the nostrils, thereby applying the breaks for an emergency stop to Kardashian’s advance. Some disappointment on Kim’s face when the bell finally rings - she had hoped that Winnick might have take the second fall more easily this time round, but alas, the blonde’s experience in the ring starting to show clearly.
ROUND 2: More of the same early in the second - you don’t expect old cougars like these to change their spots overnight after all. But Kim somewhat visibly tiring as she chases her prey all across the ring and back multiple times. Katheryn doing her strategy due diligence, evading the worse of Kim’s punches and then scoring back with some choice cuts of her own into the brunette’s sternum and then the chin. But STILL Kardashian on a one-track mind, that elusive, dominant victory the only thing she can afford to think about! Kim managing to trap and corner Winnick by the end of the second minute with her constant advance, and for a brief moment, it looks like she might get her wish of a wipeout here… only to have Kat DUCK under a right hook that goes sailing over her head wide, before Kim’s head SNAPPED back into orbit from a resurgent uppercut to the jawline! OUCH. Kardashian in trouble! Kardashian in trouble! Katheryn moving into her territory all of a sudden, with unadulterated punches to the body doubling her over, with her knees already looking wobbly. ANOTHER right hook to the face and DOWN GOES KARDASHIAN in a hail or grunting and sobbing! It’s a KNOCKDOWN in the second round, ladies and gents!
Heeeelllllooo from up here!! Katheryn can’t really believe her opponent went down so easily, not after she herself struggled to win this back then in their first match! But there Kardashian lies, squirming on her belly as she tries to crawl her way to the ropes in order to recover! Katheryn diligently moving to neutral corner as she listens to the referee’s slow-count to 10. Can Kardashian redeem this humiliating situation here tonight?? It looks like she can’t! Count of 8 and she’s still barely up onto her knees… Referee hits the count of 10 and SHE’S DONE FOR!!
Official Decision: Katheryn Winnick defeats Kim Kardashian via KO2!
AFTER: A perfect outcome for Katheryn Winnick!! She’s secured not just revenge for herself, but having done so in quick and easy fashion! Kim Kardashian can’t believe the cheers that erupt once the referee makes the decision official, slumping back down and hanging onto the middle rope in abject disbelief and disappointment as the entire arena explodes with “WI-NNICK! WI-NNICK! WI-NNICK!” chants.
Winnick with genuine happiness and relief flooding her face, celebrating for a moment with a laugh and grin of her own and covering her mouth in pleasant surprise. Soon after, however, she has that dangerous flash of vengeance in those blue eyes, striding over to Kim’s struggling body, Katheryn roughly shoves the shocked brunette towards the mat. “My turn now…Kimmie”, Winnick declares, planting one foot down into the subdued woman’s chest, smiling and standing with her hands planted on her hips as she poses triumphantly for the cheering crowd.
Later, after she’s escorted from the ring to allow the medics to check on her hapless opponent, Winnick making a statement to reporters, just like how she did with Kardashian here tonight:
“I think I proved that her win was a fluke, and that’s what I came here to do. I’m glad I was able to! She can punch hard but there’s a lot more to boxing than that… though I don’t think she realizes that” the blonde saying with a smirk. “If she wants a tie-breaker, she knows where to find me - I’m always ready. But now, it’s time to celebrate! Woo!” |
