(Empire Boxing vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The opening bout of tonight's FNL card sees Jaime Chung and Abigail Breslin head to the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo.

Jaime is 35 years old; she stands 5'6 and holds a record of 3 wins, 1 knockout, 12 defeats and 1 draw.

Abigail is 22 years old; she stands 5'1 and holds a record of 4 wins, all by knockout and 2 defeats, she is a former New Blood flyweight tournament winner.

The fighters were asked for comments about the fight and general things at their gyms, with Jaime finishing sparring with Jillian Barberie before she leaves the ring to talk to the press.

"Hey! I can't believe it has taken this long for me to have a fight this year, but I'm not going to complain now that I have Abigail in front of me to take my frustration out on" says Jaime as she has her gloved fists together.

Pointing her right fist at the camera; Jaime tells her future opponent "Abigail; I'd suggest you back out before I knock whatever cute people think you have off your face" winking before she heads off.

Abigail meanwhile is finishing up working the punchbag, waving the press over as she continues working the bag.

"I am so sick of being disrespected, that bytch Emma Roberts was lucky to beat me and now I hear that Jaime has been making comments about me" Abigail starts smacking the bag in anger.

"You see this" she slams hooks in the middle of the bag, "that's going to be me breaking the bytch in half" then she slams two punches to the top and center of the bag, "that'll be her face, which I'm going to turn to mush" says Abigail as she finishes and tosses off her gloves, heading off to talk to her coach.

Fight night; out comes Jaime with Monica Bellucci with her, she throws punches on the way to the ring, she looks focused tonight on getting back on a winning run.

She is wearing a black sports bra, half black and half white trunks, black gloves with white thumbs, with white boots, her brunette is braided.

Stepping into the ring Jaime waving to the fans as she heads to her corner, smiling as she talks to Monica about the fight.

Out comes Abigail with her coach behind her as she heads to the ring, her eyes are locked onto the ring as she looks angry.

She is wearing a purple sports bra; matching trunks, gloves and shoes, while her blonde hair is in a simple ponytail.

Getting into the ring; Abigail looks to charge Jaime, her coach holds her back and herds her to her corner, telling her not to lose focus and to do her talking in the ring seems to calm down Abigail.

The fighters soon enough come to the center of the ring; Jaime looks confident as she stares down at the scowling Abigail.

They then bump their gloves together, with them turning their backs and jogging to their corners so they can start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Abigail is starting off trying to keep compact as she has to navigate past the reach of Jaime, who is hammering jabs at the youngster's guard.
The smaller Abigail is too keen to charge forwards, allowing Jaime to counter her with precision punches striking the top of her head.
Jaime looking confident as she keeps her opponent behind her guard, those jabs not doing much damage but is scoring points for her.
Till Abigail finally times her attack correctly, parrying a straight and landing an overhand right, moving in close to work as she forces Chung to cover up.
Jaime needing to shove Breslin to her face and move into space, she has now had a warning of what the youngster can do.
With Abigail coming more out of her guard to jab at the body of Jaime, who counters with a right over the top to knock Abigail back.
It's Jaime who finishes the round strong with two punches finding a gap in the guard of Abigail to knock her head back just before the bell.
The Empire corner looking happy as Jaime bumps fists with Monica, while across the ring Abi looks pissed off to say the least.
Round 2:
Jaime starts off quickly with her throwing more punches now, keeping on the move so Abi can't herd her onto the ropes.
With Abigail missing as she starts swinging more punches to try to catch Jaime, opening herself up to more punches landing on her face to mark it up.
The Asian fighter getting a loud cheer as she lands a left/right straight to the face of her opponent, finished up by a left hook that knocks Breslin back.
Abigail seems to slow down, stopping her fruitless attacks and relies on keeping her guard tight as she stalks Jaime around the ring.
Finally a feint with her left Abigail makes Jaime move right into her fight to the ribs, then she moves in tight to work the body.
Jaime groaning out as short sharp body shots dig into her abs, Abigail with a well drilled attack that has her opponent being pressed towards a corner.
The round ends with Jaime looking a little annoyed that Abigail was able to get in close after having such control of the fight, Monica reminds her though that the fight is still in her hands.
Round 3:
A pattern is forming of how rounds are starting; Abigail has to find a way to close the distance between her and Jaime, with the taller fighters reach continuing to cause her problems.
The jab is still landing a little too much for Abigail's coaches liking, with the cheeks of the blonde starting to look a little puffy.
But she slips under a straight to land an uppercut that knocks Jaime's head back, with her punches knocking Jaime back towards the ropes.
Where Chung has to clinch up with Breslin, the referee needing to step in to break them apart, with Jaime moving into space to work from.
Again Abigail has to work her way back inside, parrying a jab before slipping under a right cross to come in close to work.
The intensity of Abigail seems to be catching Jaime out now, even as she tries to move back to jab, Abigail is keeping in tight to land to the body.
Jaime with a missed right cross opens herself up to a left cross, Abigail using the opening to bash her opponent backwards.
The round ends with Abigail and Jaime squaring up, Jaime's temper starting to boil over as the referee steps between them.
Returning to their corners; Breslin's coach is happy that she is finally on the scoreboard, she only has eyes on her opponent though as she bangs her gloves together.
While in the Empire corner; Jaime looks to Monica for advice on how to keep the pitbull like Abigail off her, Monica telling her to tighten up on her accuracy.
Round 4:
Abigail comes out her corner more quicker then the other rounds, leading to Jaime needing to fight more at midrange, still landing the cleaner punches but is taking more power punches now.
Dipping down; Abigail bumps into Jaime with her shoulder, then lands an overhand right to turn the face of the Asian fighter.
Jaime covering up as Abigail starts to back her towards the ropes, battering the body of the Empire fighter to cause her to gasp out.
Clinching up with Abigail; Jaime looks at Monica for answers but getting none as she is parted from her opponent.
Jaime is able to land several punches as Abigail is overly keen again, knocking the head back of the younger fighter to keep her back.
A left/right combo catches Abigail to her nose to push her back a step, with Jaime now the one looking to push the pace.
The round ends with both fighters going toe to toe, heading back to their corners with both marked up and body's reddened up.
Sitting on their stools with their eyes locked across the ring; Jaime looking frustrated that she can't keep Abigail on the outside.
Round 5:
Jaime is trying to land more power punches of her own; Abigail though dips under a right hook and lands an uppercut that knocks her head back.
The blonde is stepping in close to bash Jaime across her face, AS JAIME PUTS HER GUARD UP TOP, ABIGAIL SLAMS A RIGHT INTO THE LIVER, MAKING JAIME CRY OUT, HOLD HER STOMACH AND HER KNEES CRUMBLE AS SHE GOES TO ALL FOURS!
Abigail is nudged back by the referee, 1...2...3...4 Jaime is backing her right fist off the canvas as she has her head on the canvas, 5...6....7 spitting her gumshield out, 8...9...10 Jaime is hurting too much to get up and beat the count.

Winner Abigail Breslin KO Round 5

After:
Abigail raises her fists as she yells "come on!" Happy to be back on the winners circle, jogging over to her corner to embrace with her coach.

While Jaime is helped to sit up; with her trying to catch her breath as she apologizes to Monica for failing at stopping Abigail.

Jaime gets her breath back and is helped up by her coach, where she gets a pat on the back by Monica, who tries to console her over the defeat.

After both women are cleaned up; they head to the ring center, Jaime is still holding her left to her body to show how good a shot Abigail landed on her body.

The winner getting her hand raised by the referee, with Abi smiling for the first time since she come into the ring, as Jaime nods knowing she deserved to be beaten.

The Empire crew leave the ring hoping next year will be a better year for Jaime, who is wiping tears away right now and not looking in good shape right now.

While Abigail looks all smiles now, she poses with her left arm flexed as she stands against the ropes, before she climbs through them and heads to the back.

She'll be wanting next year to be where she makes a leap up towards the elite, though she has plenty of time to do, right now it's time to celebrate this win and worry about that later.
