Intro:
The Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo sees Zhang Ziyi does battle with Eva Longoria in an international battle of stunning actresses.

Zhang is 39 years old; she stands 5'5 and holds a record of 2 wins, those are both by knockout and 2 defeats.

Eva is 43 years old; she stands 5'2 and holds a record of 20 wins, 15 by knockout, 16 defeats and she is a former FCBA flyweight champion.

The fighters were interviewed before the fight at their gyms; with Zhang all smiles as she waves the press over after she is done talking to communication director Sandara Park.

"I hope you guys have missed me, I have been busy with promotional work for the stable and having a few exhibition fights around the world, so being invited to this FNL card is perfect in my eyes to continue that work" says Zhang with a big smile.

She then changes her mood as she discusses Eva "she is just a stepping stone to me, when was the last time she actually did anything? So bring it on Eva" Zhang heads off to begin her training for the day.

Across the city; Eva is busy doing yoga, showing off her great flexibility to the assembled press, before heading over to them.

"So I get a free holiday in Japan to beat up Zhang, I have seen her around the backstage area and she always seems a stuck up bytch, so I have plenty of motivation to kick her ass" says a serious Eva.

Eva admits when asked about how long she has in the ring "well I am not stupid, I know I don't have long so it is all about having marque fights till I retire, then maybe I'll head into coaching or management" Eva getting a tap on her back from her coach to get back to training, she waves to the journalists before she heads off.

Fight night; Zhang comes out with Penelope Cruz by her side, she stands with hands on her hips as she gets a loud cheer from the crowd, plenty of her fans seem to have flown over from China to see this fight.

Zhang heads down to the ring wearing a red sports bra with small gold stars on her right cup, red trunks with "Ziyi" in gold letters on the waistband, red gloves and shoes, while her hair is in a ponytail.

Climbing into the ring; Zhang bows to each side of the ring, then heads off to her corner where she shadow boxes with Penelope telling her what to do.

Eva now heads out with her coach, banging her gloves together as she struts down the aisle, a small smile on her face as she gets a mixed reaction from the crowd.

She is wearing a white sports bra, a green and white striped trunks, green shoes and gloves, her hair is in a ponytail too.

Once she is in the ring and her corner; she chats with her coach as she limbers up, all the while her eyes are locked across the ring with her opponents.

The referee brings both women to the center of the ring, where they intensely stare right at each other, the crowd is chanting for Zhang, making her smirk at her opponent, who looks nonplussed.

They are ordered to touch gloves; leading to a not so friendly touch of gloves as they look more interested in just getting started, heading to the corners to begin 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Both women are up on their toes circling and trading single punches to test each others defences out, Zhang landing the better punches as uses her reach to her advantage.
Eva though shows off her flexibility to dodge the punches aimed at her head, coming inside to work the body of her opponent, before slipping back to the outside.
The Latin fighter keeping Zhang guessing when she is going to come in close, showing off her hand speed to back up the Asian actress.
But Zhang soon times her attacks; striking the top of Longoria's head to knock her back, both landing stiff single punches as they get back to moving around the ring.
When Eva looks to move inside; she gets smacked with a left across her cheek, with two more punches knocking her head back as Zhang pushes forwards.
Eva covering up as Zhang bangs her punches off her gloves, the round soon enough ends with both women giving each other a few insults on the way past each other.
The Ageis corner looking annoyed that Eva was so successful in the round, with Penelope telling her fighter to batter her old rival into submission.
Round 2:
This time Zhang starts off faster, relying more on her footwork and jab to keep the elusive Eva on the outside, stinging her opponent's face with her punches.
Till Eva dips under a straight and barrels inside with her left shoulder, followed by an overhand right to knock back Zhang.
Who finds herself being driven towards the ropes by a now aggressive Eva, who has her head down and is using short sharp body shots to cause the taller woman to groan out.
Zhang pulls Eva into a clinch, forcing the referee to step in to break them up and allowing the Asian fighter to have the gap she wants between them to work.
Now as Eva looks to move in close; Zhang is snapping her head back with jabs and straights as Ziyi keeps on the move.
But Zhang makes a mistake late in the round, Eva slips under a right cross and takes an uppercut for her troubles, that opens Zhang up and allows Eva to drive her onto the ropes, where she goes back to work on the body.
The bell rings to end the round with Zhang looking peeved that she hasn't been able to control the fight so far, in fact it has been Eva whose been successful so far.
Round 3:
Eva is looking to keep the pressure on Zhang, bobbing and weaving her way in tight to her opponent so she can keep working the body to cut down the taller fighter.
But Zhang forces her back with a left to the face, followed by a stiff right across her cheek to make her back up, with Zhang pushing onwards with two more straight punches to her face.
Eva starting to get caught more cleanly now as Zhang uses her jab to counter the movement of the older fighter, those punches are starting to mark up the stunning face of Longoria.
Who looks to slip under a jab; but ends up getting sidestepped before a right crashes into the side of her face to make her step back.
Zhang though looks to be growing more into the fight, dodging attempted punches by Eva and now countering her with hard shots across the face.
With Zhang opening up the guard of Eva with a left/right combo straight up the middle, with a right hook knocking Eva towards the ropes.
Where she tries to fight her way off them; Zhang though is simply bashing her face with jabs opening her up to more power punches.
The rounds soon ends with Zhang bellowing out "yes!" In her native tongue, she understandably looks excited by her success as she heads to her corner to be cleaned up.
Across the ring Eva doesn't look worried, her coach telling her to be careful when moving inside, other then that she is getting washed down for the rounds ahead.
Round 4:
This time as Eva looks to move in close; Zhang is hitting her with more precision and slowing her down each time she tries it.
Till Zhang lands a stiff jab that opens up Eva to a straight right on her nose, blood starts running from her nostrils as Zhang starts targeting that nose to back her up.
Now Eva is too open; ZHANG IS SIMPLY BASHING HER ON THAT NOSE TO MAKE HER CRY OUT, WHEN EVA TRIES SWINGING IN WITH A RIGHT, ZHANG STEPS BACK AND LANDS A CRISP RIGHT HOOK OFF THE JAW OF LONGORIA TO KNOCK HER TO HER BACK!
Eva looks up from her back with a glazed look on her face, 1...2...3 she groan as she turns to her side, 4...5..6...7 she slips as she tries to get up from her side, 8...9...10 and ends up on her back as she is counted out!

Winner Zhang Ziyi KO Round 4

After:
While she looked rusty at first; Zhang brutally puts down Eva for the count to get her first win of the year to a loud deafening cheer in the arena.

Zhang bows to each side of the ring; while Eva has to be checked over by the ringside doctor and her coach in the center of the ring.

The winner simply ignores her beaten opponent, heading back to her corner to get a hug from Penelope, who steps over to Eva and tells her "that's what you get bytch" in her native tongue.

Eva seems to have come around as she sits up and stares at the Ageis corner, angry that she was put down so easily in the end after starting so strongly.

Her coach tells her that she needs to ignore them as they put their hands out to help her stand up, Eva nods and is helped out the ring by her coach to a few boos.

Zhang doesn't look too happy by Eva not showing her respect, after a few moments though she smirks and waves Eva away.

The referee brings Zhang to the center of the ring so she can get her hand raised, a loud cheer rings out as Zhang shouts her thanks to the fans.

Getting a microphone; Zhang promises that she will be back next year and will have a better opponent for them, bowing once more to the fans before she hands the mic off and heads out the ring with Penelope.

The Ageis women look excited about the future as they head up the aisle, though at 39 it does beg the question how much she can do in the flyweight division, Zhang seems pretty confident right now she can.
