Natalie Alyn Lind vs. Peyton Roi List

(Words: Front Street / Results: Lookout!)

BEFORE:

Pair of promising young bantam prospects square off in this one, and there's plenty of snark on offer in the pre-fight. "I keep hearing about Natalie having some kind of big future, but, the fact is, the only thing remarkable about HER is inside her bikini top. And, I'm better than her THERE and everywhere ELSE, too."

"Peyton's always got a lot to say. Especially for a girl who hasn't won a fight in a year and a half. And, that's not going to change tonight."

ROUND ONE:

List on the move early. She wants to box from open canvas. Not. Going. To. Happen. Nat The Brat is all about closing and banging, and the younger woman quickly begins using her own excellent legs to cut the ring and begin taking the heavy leather to her fellow blonde. Peyton tossed to the defensive, backing and covering, as Lind gets off lusty in the early going. She's working upstairs some, but mostly abusing her rival to the body. List firing back in kind after a time, but she's getting the worst of it, and it's not close. Natalie THUMPING home hard shot, backing up Peyton, eventually working her to the ropes where she leans on her and makes her take weight. List tying up, trying to force breaks, but Lind punching free, working more body, hammering away right to the bell. When it rings. it's Lind who's claimed the points wide and grabbed the 10-9 lead.

ROUND TWO:

List makes with the legs early. Lind again aggressively forward, looking to close, but, now Peyton's getting her jab on, slowing down the younger woman, keeping her at range long enough to move. Result is that the round is fought in the open canvas where List wants to be, instead of in the phone booth Natalie prefers. And, while Lind is able to keep the round competitive, finding her way inside at time to work more body and land more hard shot, List is able to offset those moments with the points she scores bouncing around the ring and snapping jabs into Natalie's face. Late in the round, List stops and lands a quick combination that forces Lind to cover up, then rips a one-two to her bust line. Lind more shocked than hurt, freezes and Peyton backs her up with a hard flurry to the head that leaves the younger blonde buzzed at the bell. As far as the round goes, it's List's, and we're even at 19.

ROUND THREE:

Natalie coming forward again, but she's looking a little slower, maybe still buzzed from the last round. List taking full advantage, teeing off on her rival, then slipping away before Lind can get anything going. Natalie keeps coming, determined to close and punish her opponent, but, it's not working. Peyton's calling the tune, touching up the younger girl and then STAGGERING HER with a hard combination to the head. Natalie covers up and is DROPPED by a straight right hand! List leaping into the air in triumph before heading to a neutral corner. Lind in a sitting position as the referee begins the count. Teen blonde gets to her feet at seven. Takes the mandatory. And watches as the referee waives on Peyton. The next 50 seconds are a nightmare for Lind. She's hammered back into the ropes and abused to head, belly, ribs, and rack, as List simply lets the hands go and punishes her rival as much as possible. When the bell, mercifully, rings, List pushes up off Natalie and strides arrogantly to her corner up 29-27 after the 10-8 round.

ROUND FOUR:

List after Lind immediately. She's not dancing now. She's stepping to and making with heavy leather, backing up Lind, forcing her to cover up, punishing her to head, body, and now rack. Peyton having a good old time thumping her rival. BOOM! Straight right hand Lind and DOWN GOES LIST! Out of nowhere, Natalie lands a perfectly-placed right cross and the older blonde is flat on her back. Lind gets quickly to a neutral corner and the referee begins the count. List stunned as she looks up at him. Finally shakes it off at five, rolls to her belly and pushes to her feet at eight. Referee gives her the mandatory and waives on Lind. And, this is not going to be pretty. Natalie determined to pay back Peyton WITH INTEREST for the last round, buffets her back into the ropes with barrage after barrage of punches, then gives her a THOROUGH working over to head and body before THUMPING rack in the final 30 seconds. List hanging on, crouching, trying to cover up to slow the punishment, but Lind hammers away to the bell, claiming the round 10-8 to even things at 37.

ROUND FIVE:

Lind right back to work, taking the fight to a wobbly Peyton. Natalie snarling, baring teeth as she hammers away at her hated foe. List desperate, trying to fire back in spots, but mostly covering up and backing up as the younger blonde brings the punishment. She's hammering at the breadbasket, punishing the rack, and thumping away at the head. List has few answers and is quickly rope bound again. Then Lind turns the heat up even higher, just winging away with everything she has looking to find the off button and DOWN GOES PEYTON. A short right hook following a short left hook to the rack and List crumples in slow motion to land on her left side parallel to the ropes. Lind staring down at her rival, forced away by the referee. She stalks to a neutral corner and waits as the count mounts. No movement at all from Peyton, eyes closed, lips all pouty as she slumbers well past ten. It's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is Nat The Brat, Natalie Alyn Lind!

AFTER:

Lind still ticked off in the post-fight. "She disrespected me in there," the teenager fairly spits. "And, I won't have it. I might be younger than most of these girls, but they aren't going to do that to me. And, if they do, they're going to get EXACTLY what Peyton got. EXACTLY."
