BEFORE:

"I should have beaten Torv my first time here, says Jessica with a smile, "and Torv won the title. Torv is better than THIS girl. So. What's that tell you about how things are going to go tonight?"

"Well," says Serinda with a shake of the head. "ANNA might well be better than me. But, the question tonight is whether JESSICA is better than me. And, she's about to find out she's not."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Zou Bisou Bisou', and coming to the ring is the singer of that little ditty, the lovely Jessica Pare!"

McCarthy: "And, as I said the last time she was here, back in April, I'm surprised she keeps getting invited, because she DOES have FCBA wins..."

Tess: "And, Mac mentioned Pare fought Arterton here in April, and, as Jessica mentioned, she fought Torv here in 2017. Didn't win either fight, and THAT is why she keeps getting asked back..."

O'Dell: "Pare into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing that blue flowered number we've seen before, and that's 'Foxey Lady' by Jimi Hendrix you hear hammering through the arena, and here comes 'The Hottest Player In The Game', Serinda Swan..."

Cassie: "And, here's where Mac makes some lame joke about what game Serinda is referring to, since Mac is hotter than Swan..."

McCarthy: "You just made my point FOR me!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Swan into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that red bikini we've seen before and the audience always appreciates. Ladies are about ready and it's time for some picks. Tess likes Serinda. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Swan is Canadian. Maybe the game she's talking about is CURLING. I'm not involved with CURLING, so she could be the hottest player in THAT game..."

O'Dell: "Is there a PICK in there somewhere?"

McCarthy: "Pare has wins. Swan is a Dancing Hooker. Jessica."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Another split panel and another chance to see who's right. Ladies set up at boxing range immediately, and both rangy brunettes want to work from space. Not a surprise, as both are plenty good at it. Both Canadians scoring with the jab early, building rights off those solid left hands."

Cassie: "If you remember, Pare came after Arterton early in that fight. Not doing that here. Smart girl, because, no doubt, Serinda was ready for that."

O'Dell: "This time, Jessica content to get her box on and Serinda more than willing to box with. Neither brunette rushed. Both doing a little recon here, feeling some things out, working the feet, probing for openings. Pare a nice combination and Swan fires back with one of her own that included a hard right hand."

Tess: "Got Jessica's attention."

O'Dell: "But did not slow her down. Instead, Jessica continuing to work her own left while looking to slip Swan's, all while Serinda does just the opposite. We're down to ten seconds in a very competitive first. One more sharp exchange and there's the bell. Close, but it's Jessica's round and the visitor takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Pare doubling up on that jab. She's snapping it in Swan's face, holding her fellow brunette with it, then coming on with the right hands. It's throwing off Serinda's rhythm and she's having trouble getting her offense going as a result. Pare's pretty slick with that left, isn't she, Mac?"

McCarthy: "She's an all-around good boxer. If we didn't have the GREAT Adrianne Palicki at Sceej, I might SIGN this kid..."

Cassie: "I though Sceej was back in charge at Sceej boxing, especially after you cut a Top Ten fighter in Taylor Hill..."

McCarthy: "I FIRED Hill because she's an overrated BIMBO and the PROOF of that is that she immediately became a Dancing Hooker! Oh, and, SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell (sighing): "IF we could concentrate on the ring, where Pare's continuing to put together an excellent round. Jessica's really got it going now off that double jab. Swan firing back in spots, but she's spending way too much time waiting her turn as her rival's getting most of the work done."

Tess: "Swan needs to make an adjustment and soon, because, this round has been VERY one-sided."

O'Dell: "That it has, and nothing is changing down the stretch. It's Pare in command as the clock ticks down toward all zeroes. Jessica a NICE right hand there! Swan not hurt, but there's no doubt she felt that one and ONE MORE BIG FLURRY by Jessica at the bell! Excellent round for Pare, who takes it wide and leads this thing 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with a more aggressive Swan. Serinda coming forward behind the left hand. Pare moving laterally, giving some ground, looking to maintain distance. Swan stepping to, looking to get physical with her fellow Canadian brunette. Jessica thrown over to the defensive now, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Needs to get off her back foot and get back to working that jab."

O'Dell: "Not able to do it at the moment. Instead, Swan taking control of the fight, putting together nice combinations, landing some heavy leather. Pare working mostly in counter now, and we're seeing a complete 180 from the last round when Jessica was in command. Now, it's Serinda in control."

Tess: "Swan has a lot of power, no question, and Jessica being forced to respect that right now."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch and Serinda finishing off a very, very good round by continuing to take the fight to Pare. We've got ten seconds remaining. Another solid combination from Swan forces Jessica to cover up and there's the bell. No doubt about this one. Serinda and very wide."

Cassie: "And, Jessica's lead down to a single point, 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Serinda continuing with the aggression as we start the fourth. Pare trying to turn now, wants to move laterally rather than backward, but Swan forcing her back with heavy leather. Jessica needs to find a way to slow this down, but, at the moment, the Swan train is at just about full speed..."

Cassie: "Serinda's locked in, no question about it."

O'Dell: "AND THERE'S A RIGHT HAND AND PARE IS HURT! Swan staggers Jessica with a BOOMING straight right hand! Serinda letting the hands go as Pare covers up. Swan hammering her rival back into the ropes. Pare in deep trouble, forming the tight ear muff along the cables..."

McCarthy: "Just going to try to ride this out..."

O'Dell: "Indeed she is. Jessica leaning back in the ropes, rolling with punches, keeping the guard high, putting the body on sale. Swan not buying at any price. It's all about head hunting now as she looks to finish this thing off. Only ten seconds to go, though. GOOD right from Serinda, but there's the bell. Swan. Wide."

Tess: "And we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Swan on a mission to start the fifth. She's looking to put an end to this right now. Pare giving ground, still feeling the effects of that last round. Serinda working forward behind the jab, not getting sloppy, setting up punches and then sitting down on them. Pare jabbing back in spots, trying to slow Swan down as much as possible."

Tess: "Pare running clock effectively right now, and that's what she wants to do."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. Swan scoring with both hands, rolling up points, but, what she wants is to finish and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND AND DOWN GOES JESSICA! Swan a BEAUTIFUL straight right hand and Pare dropped to her right side. Serinda to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Pare to all fours. Seven. Eight. Jessica back to her feet..."

Cassie: "She did very well to get up after that."

O'Dell: "Referee gives Jessica the mandatory then waives on Serinda. Swan now in seek-and-destroy mode. She's all OVER Pare, forcing her fellow brunette back into the ropes and LETTING HER HAVE IT with both hands! Referee looking in closely. HARD right by Swan staggered Pare and it's OVER! Referee leaping in and waiving it off and it's OVER and your winner by TKO5 is 'The Hottest Player In The Game', Serinda Swan!"

McCarthy: "Typical Front Street refereeing."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Serinda Swan, and, Serinda, once you got rolling you didn't stop."

Serinda: "She can box, no question about that. But, I'm more physical and when I was able to GET physical with her, it was just a matter of time."

Tess: "You've put together an undefeated season, 6-0, a pretty good 2018. What's the plan for 2019?"

Serinda(smiling): "Who knows? Maybe I'll get a fight in December. The season isn't over yet. I'll worry about next year next year.
