Emma Roberts (27, 5’2, 94 lbs, 12:6 FCBA, The Dollhouse) Vs. Anna Kendrick (33, 5’2, 102 lbs, 17:14 FCBA, Diamond Boxing Club)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago & The Dollhouse
BEFORE: Nobody can accuse The Dollhouse of chasing free agency cannon fodder in this match-up as former unified flyweight champion Anna Kendrick graces The Doll Ball PPV tonight. However, Emma Roberts still steals the headlines with an angry rant from her chair during the pre-fight press conference:
"First of all, I am NOT going to answer ANY questions about my farce of a fight against Avril last month. So don't even bother, or I'll have you thrown out of this room.” Emma opens up by sending a mean b*tch-stare to a few unlucky front row reporters before continuing. “That fight was a complete joke. I was literally fighting a lightweight with how FAT that b*tch's gotten. And guess what? I almost f*cking won...that should be enough to convince ANYONE I'm still the best TRUE flyweight this stable has on their roster. Now...MOVING ON from that....If you insist I talk about my opponent tonight...I will tell you Kendrick is a Z-lister who earned her ‘celebrity’ status by playing a minor role on a few Kristen Stewart films. She has zero talent both inside and outside the ring. The fact this fugly loser was a flyweight champion is a complete embarrassment to the FCBA. But you guys already knew that. Anyway, I have titles to win, and Kendrick was ranked in the top 15 somehow. But now with the new BOW ranking she’s 22….I should have cancelled this fight. I shouldn’t be fighting someone 10 ranks below me. But I guess I’ll have to beat this useless b*tch now. It will be good practice and wrecking a former champion is always good for publicity, so here I am. Kendrick hasn't won a single fight in more than a year, and I'm going to make sure it stays that way. That's all I have to say at this point. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll let my fists do the rest of the talking."
Well, the epic Alpha clash for the ages between Roberts and Lavigne still appears to linger on the blonde's mind and that's one good opportunity for Kendrick to snap her three-fight losing streak. Anna's skilled enough to take anyone down even on hostile territory but Roberts' outburst makes it even more favorable now for the former divisional champion.
Kendrick on the other side of the stage, calm and collected, shaking her head with a smirk on her face as she listens to Emma’s vile words. She takes a sip from her water bottle before firing back, her eyes fixed on Roberts from across the stage: “Emma is a lot more proficient at talking smack than boxing….that’s for sure. We saw proof of that last month when she was left drooling on the mat after Avril knocked her ass out. I plan to do the same tonight. It’s true that I haven’t been at my best this last year or so but I feel like tonight is the perfect opportunity for me to get back on that horse….I’ve fought and beaten much tougher and stronger girls before….so I’m not too worried about Roberts and her big mouth. Taking her down would be a beautiful end to this year for me. I’m excited but very ready for her. Lets go blondie!”
Its fight time and Emma is out first, the ravishing blonde is clad in a white satin robe covering her completely, her shoulder-length blonde hair hanging lose as she strolls down the ramp accompanied by Carmen Electra and coach Kristanna Loken. Emma with her usual ice-cold expression, staring directly at the ring as she makes her way towards it, not letting the wild cheers of the fans distract her from her goal tonight. Roberts quickly climbs into the ring and unrobes to reveal her usual sexy ring attire – a pink sports bra and ankle-length white tights with ROEBRTS etched on the right thigh, her slim fit body on full display for the cheering fans. She is helped with her white&pink gloves before taking to her corner where she begins stretching.
Up next is Anna Kendrick and the she comes out smiling and waving to a surprising amount of cheers in the arena! Anna is clad in a sexy black one-piece swimsuit, hair in a neat bun, white gloves and a lot of spunk as she hops through the aisle, high fiving a few fans a long the way. Anna clearly in a good mood tonight, seemingly optimistic about her chances to take down one of the FCBA’s rising stars and go back to her winning ways. Kendrick climbs into the ring and takes to her corner where she jumps up and down to warm herself up as the referee calls both girls to the middle of the ring to go over the rules. Kendrick can only giggle when Roberts refuses to touch gloves and both girls now make their way back to their respective corners. It’s finally time! The ref calls for the bell and here we go!
Round 1: Emma bursts out of her stool looking for instant damage and Anna's a little unprepared for the bullzoding rush that dissects her high guard and allows the local favorite to cash in with numerous crisp shot up the middle. Emma works on speed dial like she needs a first round KO and allthough she reels the redhead onto her heels, she struggles to match her mobility down the stretch. Anna moves around well to avoid Emma's attack and settles into a counter-punching drill which fuels an angry verbal response from the bleached blonde. Emma's taunts carry little impact on the older girl's behaviour since Anna has seen it all during her underrated boxing career and she actually makes Roberts look too desperate while biding her time in mid-distance comfort zone.
Round 2: Another aggressive rush from Emma allows her to punish Anna's midsection during the initial tangle but a piercing uppercut on the jaw halts the blonde's attack and wobbles her back when Kendrick finds the follow up on the nose. The redhead moves into close range and tackles the blonde to the body before another quick hook nails Emma on the temple and reels her onto the ropes. Emma doesn't have the superior speed and gets trapped on the spot with Kendrick piling quick pressure up the middle to clip her breasts and carry through on the chin. Ugh! Emma's guard looks really suspicious here until a late clinch bails her out of additional trouble but Anna barks in her face at the bell as both women bump shoulders before heading back to their corners.
Round 3: Emma seeks immediate revenge for that poor previous round but Anna's lithe footwork proves superior once again to force the blonde into cutting thin air repeatedly during the opening minute. Anna rallies around through another counter-punching effort thereafter and Emma reels backwards again when she gets smacked up the middle and begins to gurgle in a painful sign of Kendrick's increasing dominance. The redhead works on the blonde's body from the inside and lands one vicious body shot after another to shut the local favorite down completely come the final minute. Even The Dollhouse coach Kristanna Loken has lost her temper by now but she can do nothing about Kendrick pitching the blonde butt-in-ropes with Emma sinking into spasms amid another gut-checking rally from the older foe.
Round 4: It's not often you see a member of the Dollhouse clinching so blatantly like Emma does here in the opening minute but apparently the hosts have run out of ideas on how to manhandle Kendrick and their usual aggression just doesn't cut it against the FCBA elite. Anna barks in her efforts to set up more midsection damage and controls Roberts along the ropes during a messy round where big punches are missing in action until the final minute. It looks like Emma has run out of steam to keep dragging the redhead into a clinching cluster and eats her share of gut-checking hooks with Anna building on the scorecards with methodical execution. Ugh! That's just about as bad as it gets for The Dolls with Emma arguing her case with coach Loken in very hostile manner during the subsequent interval.
Round 5: It's all "Screw it, I'm going for it" from Roberts early in the fifth but her head-hunting attempts fall second best to Kendrick's footwork until the blonde actually manages to stick a quick double on the nose and scythes the redhead across the boobs for a good measure. Anna tries to swing it from the back foot alas she loses balance and gets WHACKED by a piercing uppercut on the chin that hands the momentum back to the blonde girl. Emma wastes little time in connecting with additional strikes over the top as she has Kendrick reeling onto the ropes where she eats more shots on each temples and wobbles into rare spasms herself. This fuels the blonde's punching galore thereafter and Emma almost whips her rival straight up against the turnbuckle before a cross hook on the nose tears a small patch and dumps Anna into desperate earmuff cover in the dying seconds.
Round 6: Emma catches holy fire early in the sixth and bullies the wounded redhead with more head strikes that inflict further damage across the nasal ridge in the process. Anna's forces to switch into the slugging tactics but this is where Emma feels at home and she outworks the older actress in a heads-up exchange helped by a quick hook to the liver Kendrick never saw coming. Ugh! She bends awkwardly to the side and fails to cover up when Roberts NAILS her with a power uppercut on the chin. Uh-oh!!! Anna performs a boxing version of a tank slapper and drops her mitts too low for Emma not to take advantage... Cue in a smoking right hand on the nose and KENDRICK EXITS STAGE LEFT!!! The Portland native goes all dead meat here and crumbles into hot mess at the blonde's feet who makes that familiar throat slitting gesture to indicate IT IS OVER!!! And she's not wrong about that one! Anna is OUT and the ref waves it off!!!
Official Decision: Emma Roberts defeats Anna Kendrick via KO6!
AFTER: That was a tough test for Emma who fell into an early hole on the cards before storming back in ruthless fashion that belongs to The Dollhouse lore already: "Huh! I bet that HURT you lousy bytch!", Emma dances around the fallen redhead but there's minimal reaction from Anna who covers her face behind her gloves. Emma aggressively planting her foot on the beaten girl’s thigh before taking her victory pose, hands on her hips and smiling for the first time tonight as she takes in the fans’ adoration. You can tell the blonde is relieved to have bounced back in impressive fashion after the disaster last month. But it seems like she had very little doubts coming into this fight.
But wait, Emma isn’t done here! The blonde suddenly bends over to grab Kendrick by the hair, yanking the yelping redhead to her feet before whispering something into her ear, smiling evilly. Kendrick does not seem pleased but is pushed forward aggressively by the victorious blonde who’s leading Anna around the ring for a walk of shame. Seems like Kendrick isn’t playing along though, the redhead clearly fighting back now, pushing the slim blonde away from her in a sudden defiant move. Emma stumbles back, now fuming, how dare this b*tch destroy her party? The blonde quickly responds by aggressively shoving Kendrick onto her corner, Anna’s back hitting the turnbuckles hard as the former champion moans. Seems like Emma is not done though! The blonde gritting her teeth as she gets ready to pounce on her rival again, intending to punch Anna’s lights out one more time! But the REF STEPS IN TO STOP HER!
Hugging Emma and pushing the angry blonde away to prevent any further altercation. Emma clearly displeased but calms down quickly, anger replaced by a satisfied grin when she realizes that was enough to make her point. Kendrick meanwhile, recovering quickly and storming out of the ring even before the verdict is announced. "Run, bytch, run!!! All the way to fuckin' Portland!!!" Emma laughs off Anna's retreat but still gives coach Loken a proper staredown before sharing a warm hug with her: "Don't question my moves again. I can SMOKE the heck outta anyone here!”.
Another impressive win for the Ice-Queen here tonight, that killer-instinct of hers on full display tonight as she comes back from behind with an aggressive KO finish. What’s next for this gorgeous rising star? 2019 will be an interesting year for Emma Roberts for sure! |
