BEFORE:

"Well," says Nichole with a smile, "She's obviously not the easiest opponent for an FCBA debut. But. You've got to start somewhere, so, why not at the top?"

"This is a girl with physicals," says Kat with a nod. "She can beat girls. She just can't beat THIS girl."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Hush' by Deep Purple, a song featuring on the soundtrack of NBC's 'Superstore', and here comes one of the stars of that series, brunette beauty Nichole Bloom!"

McCarthy: "I LIKE the way she spells her name because it's different from the Original Dancing Hooker, Scherzinger! I can't wait to get a chance to RETIRE Scherzinger from the FCBA!"

Tess: "If she retires like you do, the only way to KEEP her retired will be to STAKE HER IN HER COFFIN..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Walmart!"

O'Dell: "Now, calm DOWN, Mac, and drink up, boys, but don't take your eyes off the ring as Nichole is helped off with the robe to reveal a purple and white checked number and a body that has the fans buzzing..."

McCarthy: "And, they might as well buzz now, because that pudgy Campbell Clone coming down next isn't anything to look at..."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' by Scissor Sisters pounding through the arena, and here comes Kat 'The Rack' Dennings!"

Cassie: "Dennings wasting no time getting down to ringside. Definitely looking to wash the taste of that tenth round loss to Bella Thorne out of her mouth..."

O'Dell: "Dennings into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that curve-hugging black number we've seen before and the crowd showing its normal appreciation. And, we're about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kat. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Dennings is an overrated Campbell Clone! Bloom!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Our first split panel of the night and Nichole going to the legs right away. Bloom rangy for a bantam, a full 5'7", and she moves very well. Wants to use that length and those long legs to create space, and that's definitely a good fight plan, because she doesn't want to get in there and bang with Kat."

Cassie: "No, that would be a losing strategy for sure."

O'Dell: "Dennings, of course, has seen this act before, so she's stalking, keeping the hands up, working past Bloom's defenses to get inside and work body. Kat scoring well in there, but Nichole doing a good job of keeping those exchanges short and staying in open canvas. When she's there, Bloom landing some jabs and the odd combination."

Tess: "Nichole moves very well and those hands are plenty quick."

O'Dell: "They are, indeed. Down the stretch we come in a competitive first. Dennings inside, working that midsection and those ribs. Bloom ties up, slips away, circles behind the jab. Just ten seconds to go, and Nichole going to go ahead and leg this round away. There's the bell. Close. Dennings."

McCarthy: "Good start for Bloom. Keep moving and she'll wear pudgy down!"

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Nichole back on her bicycle. Bloom moving very well, jabbing, circling, giving ground in spots. She's getting into a rhythm now, finding ways to stay in the open and get the distance she wants, and it's making all the difference. Bloom not just scoring with the jab but putting combinations together now."

McCarthy: "This is what I'm TALKING about. This is how you beat slow, overweight fighters like Campbell. Make them MOVE."

Tess: "And, Neve beat YOU HOW many times again?"

McCarthy: "I. WAS. ROBBED!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Bloom getting that left on target, stopping Dennings with it and then following on with the right hands. Throws and then goes. Doesn't hang around for the counter. Doesn't allow Kat to penetrate. Instead, it's all motion all the time for Nichole, and it's working very, very well for her."

Cassie: "She has excellent feet, no question about that, and those can go a long way if you can box."

O'Dell: "And Bloom is DOING some boxing right now. We're into the final twenty seconds of round two, and Nichole having much the better of things. Dennings not able to get much going. Five seconds to go. Good combination from Bloom and there's the bell. Not close in the second. Nichole wide."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Bloom back on the move here in the third, but Dennings aggressively cutting the ring now. She's bringing Nichole to battle and letting her have it with the heavy guns. Bloom stuck inside with Kat, where the shorter brunette can work body, and bang hooks upstairs. Nichole trying to tie up and force breaks, but Kat punching free..."

McCarthy: "Ref needs to watch for LOW BLOWS. Weirdo's girls, especially the ones Campbell coaches, are FAMOUS for those..."

Tess: "Says the stablemate of GENA LEE NOLIN..."

McCarthy: "Who, like ME, is being unfairly DENIED deserved induction into the HALL OF FAME!"

Cassie: "HERE we go..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Scabbo!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Kat in total control right now. She's penning Nichole up and taking the fight to her. Bloom game, banging back some, but mostly trying to find her way back to open ocean. Not able to do it, however. Dennings has the geometry down and that's bad news for Nichole, who's taking a beating."

Cassie: "Like I said, she does NOT want to be in there with Kat."

O'Dell: "Final seconds of the third round, and it can't end quickly enough for Bloom. Nichole tying up. Kat levers, works more body. Bloom beginning to pink up at the midsection as Kat backs her up with a hard right hook and there's the bell. No doubt about that one. Dennings and wide."

Cassie: "And Kat back on top 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Kat keeping up the pressure. She's crowding Nichole, making the taller brunette fight Dennings' fight, and it's not going well for Bloom. Instead, Kat able to work body, then go upstairs with hard left and right hooks before going back to the ribs and breadbasket. Bloom alternately tying up and trying to bang back..."

McCarthy: "Needs to forget about the ties and THUMP her. That's what I used to do with Campbell..."

Tess: "And, again, how'd that GO for you?"

McCarthy: "I. WAS. ROBBED!"

O'Dell: "Bloom wrapping around the head. Kat levers with the shoulder, opens up the midsection, bangs it with hooks. Nichole getting very, very pink down there now, as Dennings' work is beginning to have an effect. Bloom tying up again. Kat shoves off and DROPS HER WITH A RIGHT HOOK!"

Cassie: "Not going to be easy to get up from THAT one!"

O'Dell: "Bloom down on her back, eyes closed tightly, as Kat makes her way to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Not much movement from Nichole. Six. Seven. Bloom trying to sit up at eight, but slumps back to her back! Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 in one-punch fashion is Kat 'The Rack' Dennings!"

McCarthy: "Not sure that wasn't a LOW BLOW..."

Tess: "It was to the HEAD!"

McCarthy: "Shut up, Walmart!"

O'Dell: "Drink up again, boys..."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kat Dennings, and, Kat, that last right hook..."

Kat (nodding): "Oh, I CAUGHT her with it. Nobody in the division was getting up from THAT. But, give her credit. This girl can move and she can box. She can beat girls."

Tess: "Good 2018 for you, no question, and I'm guessing I know what the goal is for 2019..."

Kat: "If you're guessing a shot at the gold, then you're right, Tess. You're right."
