BEFORE:

"This girl has proven she can fight at welter," admits Jaimie. "But, lightweight is a whole different division. We're all ATHLETES down here. It's not all about power and slugging it out. And, that makes a difference. As she's about to find out."

"If Jaimie thinks all I can do is punch," says Taylor with a hint of a smile, "Then SOMEone is about to find something out. And, it's not ME."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'You Shook Me All Night Long' by AC/DC, and here comes one of that band's biggest fans, the lovely Jaimie Alexander!"

McCarthy: "No IDEA how this girl got scheduled at Asylum, because she's NOT a tomato can."

Cassie: "She absolutely is NOT. Jaimie's beaten girls like Eiza Gonzalez and Kendall Jenner. She can fight."

O'Dell: "Alexander into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing a red number that's getting plenty of attention from the crowd..."

McCarthy: "A LITTLE skinny for my tastes, but, she'll do..."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Natural' by Imagine Dragons hammering through the arena, and here comes the newest member of Front Street, 'The Face', Taylor Hill!"

McCarthy: "Her nickname should be 'The Beanpole'!"

Tess: "Hill, of course, ranked in the Top Twenty at BOTH lightweight and welterweight in the latest BWO rankings, but that didn't stop MAC, in all her genius, from FIRING her..."

McCarthy: "That's because she's an overrated beanpole and you can TELL your boyfriend and his ratings that I said that!"

O'Dell: "Hill into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that azure number we saw last month, and the crowd again plenty appreciative..."

McCarthy: "Philly. Low standards."

O'Dell: "ANNNNDDDDD we're about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Taylor. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Over. Rated. Bean. Pole. Jaimie!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Ladies showing plenty of respect for one another in the first. Both brunettes are long-limbed and both want to use that length, as they set up at range and look to do some boxing. Lots of movement of head, hands, feet as the brunettes use their jabs to probe defenses for weaknesses..."

McCarthy: "Alexander needs to get AFTER this girl. Get physical. No need to mess around with her."

O'Dell: "Jaimie wants to do a little recon before she gets involved in that, and Taylor playing that same game. This is all about feeling out and gathering info, a complete 180 from the last fight, when we got down to business almost immediately. Both fighters getting their left on here and there..."

Tess: "Mostly one-punch stuff, though..."

O'Dell: "Nobody really putting punches together at the moment, no. That will certainly come, but, likely not in this round. We're down to ten seconds remaining in what's been a technical round. Both ladies working, but nobody really getting rolling. And, there's the bell. Nothing in it. Draw in the first."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and we're back to ranged boxing and Taylor landing a nice combination right there. Hill finding the range now, backing up Jaimie with another nice flurry. Alexander thrown to the defensive, back-footed all of a sudden, and Hill getting more aggressive now that she has the older woman there..."

Cassie: "That's the way to do it. Press the advantage."

O'Dell: "And, that's exactly what Taylor's doing. Hill extending on those punches, suppressing Jaimie with a high work rate, but, she's not just busy, she's effective. She's landing a high percentage as well, piling up points while reducing the older brunette to the counter. Alexander trying to get some offense going, but not having any success..."

McCarthy: "She needs to get AFTER this girl, get PHYSICAL..."

O'Dell: "At the moment, it's Taylor who's getting after Jaimie. Alexander covering up during another nice flurry by Hill. Taylor stepping forward, backing Alexander up. Younger woman's really got it going now, and this is impressive stuff from Taylor. ANOTHER good flurry backs up Jaimie and there's the bell. Hill. Wide."

Tess: "And, Taylor takes the lead 20-19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Adjustment from Alexander to start the third, Jaimie angling in now, looking to work inside the longer reach of Hill. Jaimie past Taylor's defenses, banging some body, going back upstairs, then right back down. Taylor thumping back in kind, but Alexander having the better of things inside..."

McCarthy: "THIS is what I'm talking about. Get PHYSICAL with the bean pole!"

O'Dell: "That's what Jaimie's about here in the third. She's working plenty of body in there, but it's not just about that. It's about leveraging and wrestling around, and generally taking the fight to Taylor with as much power as Alexander can muster. And, it's working. Older woman's gotten the younger off her game."

Tess: "And Jaimie's definitely found her offense as well. She's scoring VERY well inside."

O'Dell: "That she is. We're into the final seconds of the third round, and Alexander's turned things completely around here. She's working some midsection, then landing a HARD right to the head that backs Taylor up. Hill clinching and there's the bell. Excellent round for Jaimie, who takes it wide."

Cassie: "And, we're back even, this time at 29."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins with Alexander continuing to pressure. Hill banging back with her and we've got some serious inside stuff going on right now in a fight between rangy lights you'd expect to be at gunnery distance. Instead, they're digging body in there, going upstairs, then right back down."

McCarthy: "That's because Jaimie is controlling the fight, not the BEAN POLE DANCING HOOKER!"

O'Dell: "Jaimie definitely getting her terms, but she's not dominating like she did in the previous round. Taylor holding her own very well in there right now, scoring to both head and body and landing good power shot, just like Alexander. GOOD right hand, Jaimie backs Taylor up a step, but Hill fires right back."

Cassie: "Taylor adjusting very well to these terms. And, the only reason MAC won't admit that is that SHE was dumb enough to CUT her..."

McCarthy: "You LITTLE..."

Tess: "Shut UP, Walmart!"

McCarthy: "WAL...DON'T YOU CALL ME THAT!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Just one more fight this year. I can do it. I can do it. Fifteen seconds left in the round. Ladies continuing to bang away inside effectively. Neither gaining much of an advantage. Five seconds left. GOOD right by Alexander and Hill lands a SHARP counter of her own at the bell. Close. Jaimie."

McCarthy: "And, Alexander LEADS the Bean Pole 39-38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Right back into the phone booth to start the fifth. Alexander and Hill working heavy shot to both head and body. You'd think something would give at some point here, ladies, but, so far, both ladies have shipped the shell and had ZERO problem staying afloat. GOOD right from Jaimie backs Taylor up again..."

McCarthy: "No WAY this BEAN POLE can stand up to Alexander for long..."

O'Dell: "SHORT RIGHT HAND, HILL and Alexander is HURT!"

Cassie: "What was that you said, WALMART????"

McCarthy: "STOP CALLING ME THAT!"

O'Dell: "Jaimie wobbled by that right hand and Taylor all in. Hill letting the hands go, backing Alexander up, driving her into the ropes, and you're seeing some of that power that served Taylor very well in the welterweight division being used here at light. Hill HAMMERING away at a listing SS Alexander..."

Tess: "Jaimie's got the guard up, rolling with, hanging on..."

O'Dell: "And, the ref looking in VERY closely right now. One more clean shot from Hill might end this. Jaimie jabbing back in spots, doing just enough to keep the referee at bay. We're down to ten seconds remaining in the round. GOOD combination from Hill, but there's the bell. Alexander survives, but it's Taylor wide in the fifth."

Cassie: "And, we're even again, this time at 48."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Second half begins with Hill looking for the finisher. Alexander still looking a little buzzed, and Taylor taking full advantage, coming forward behind that long left jab, backing up the older brunette with right hands. She's landing plenty of heavy leather while Jaimie tries to run some clock and get the legs back underneath her..."

Tess: "Hill very patient. Not rushing anything. Taylor isn't at a dozen fights yet, but she's showing some veteran ring sense."

O'Dell: "Definitely is, Tess, as she's still setting up her punches, staying very sound, well aware of how dangerous Jaimie can be. Alexander, for her part, firing back in counter. Starting to get the legs back now and that means she's getting the power back in those punches and DOWN SHE GOES!"

Cassie: "What a right hand!"

O'Dell: "A BLISTERING straight right from Taylor and DOWN GOES JAIMIE! Alexander dropped to her back, looking up at the referee, sputtering, no idea what just happened. Hill to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Jaimie rolling to her belly. Seven. Pushes to all fours at eight. Nine. Can't get there! TEN! It's OVER! Alexander can't beat the count and your winner by KO6 is 'The Face', Taylor Hill!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch..."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Taylor Hill, and, Taylor, that got physical..."

Taylor (nodding): "You'd THINK these girls would LEARN. They all tried that with me up at welter, and it didn't work. It sure as HELL isn't going to work at light."

Tess: "So, the future for you is at lightweight?"

Taylor: "The future is where management books me. I can make light, no problem. And, I can beat top welters, too. So. Whichever. I don't care. Just line me up some girls to stretch out!"
