Before: "I love Eiza's work on screen, and she's a beautiful girl," Yvonne says in prefight, "but as a fighter, she's being fed to the wolves right now. It's not the first time OddMan has pushed girls too hard and fast, and yes, I think Lima is a factor behind the scenes here. She’s seen what happened to Sarah and Kelly, one good way of avoiding that is shoving her into an Yvonne Strahovski fight she just isn't ready for."

Eiza finally edging her way into the title picture, and welcomes the chance to prove herself against the #1 blonde: “This is going to be a heartbreaking fight for Yvonne; her high-water mark; the beginning of the long slide down. I CAN'T WAIT!"

Eiza painted on a black bandage-wrap bandeau, black gloves, hair loose and shoulder-length. Yvonne in a more complex black, white and purple pattern top, white bottoms with blue ties, tan floral pattern. White gloves, blonde hair over her shoulder.

R1: Midring, Yvonne left hand pushing out probes, looking to lure Eiza into range, then fetch her fat left-rights wide n' heavy. Gonzales rolling-with on approach, takes a whacking left on right shoulder; rolls to take right on left shoulder; steps in and twists torso-left to hack a short right across Strahovski's chin and BLONDE GIRL HURT! Yvonne staggering back on her heels, hits ropes in disarray and ON COMES EIZA! Straho laying on ropes for support, stooping forward in earmuff, Gonzales pushing head into blonde guard; POUNDING the waistline right/left, bringing mitts to her chin as she resets on her girl. Yvonne stunned, but strong-legged, sponging up the work, then pulling Eiza in for head-and-right-arm clinches. Ref issuing breaks, pushing Gonzales back by her chest, no attempt by Strahovski to get off the ropes...she just digs in, covers up, absorbs, then clinches as Eiza batters her blonde bell to bell.

R2: Eiza marches in dukes-at-cheeks but encounters blonde jab: Yvonne in good stance, left foot forward off the apron, putting heavy poke onto approaching brunette. Two jabs for Strahovski as Gonzales bobs and blocks, then blonde girl covers up earmuff, allowing brunette to swing thick to ribs. Eiza whacking away right/left, then covering up: Yvonne clips the short right uppercut in tight, then loops the left arm around her's head, folding her into a clinch. Ref's break pushes Gonzales back...once again she weaves forward against Straho's pawing jab and the occasional short right hand, works thick to the body before the blonde can tie up. Plodding, slogging big-girl routine until late, Yvonne's left hand pulling Eiza's head down in the clinch sets up a short, shoulder-shrugging right uppercut clean to chin. EIZA'S LEGS SPASM! Brunette slumping into blonde chest, Yvonne ties up rather than seeking to exploit the opportunity, still recovering from the first round beating.

R3: Yvonne’s jab continues to cause Eiza problems, blonde really banging away with it now, pounding the brunette’s face with it every chance she gets. Gonzales disrupted by the constant fire, unable to execute as she’d like to – she’s trying to set up her own jab but frequently getting preempted by Strahovski, and when she does land it’s usually with less effect. Yvonne’s moving her feet well now, working angles to try and exploit openings in Eiza’s defense whenever she can find them – she’s often doubling up her left or following up with a right to the stomach or flank, drawing winces or soft whines of pain from the Mexican baeuty. Steady stream of little bites adds up as the round draws on – fight slowly migrates from midring to the ropes as Strahovski takes more and more sand from Gonzales. Closing moments – Yvonne’s backed Eiza up to the ropes, punches open her guard and UNLEASHES, pounding brunette belly & breasts with furious crisscross mugging.

R4: Eiza able to come forward off the jab - more and more spanking exchanges as Yvonne's forced to punch again. Strahovski all sinewy toe-to-toe: baring her teeth; often prepping Gonzales with a raised left forearm on brunette guard; twisting into right hands/arching her back to lick left uppercuts, then covering up and rolling-torso. Pleasing trade fairly even until late: Eiza with a crisp pair of hooks to Yvonne's chin - stiffening blonde legs and sending her SCOOTING TO HER RUMP! Strahovski looking up blinking, looking shaken: Eiza's eyes blazing, nostrils flaring as she finally gets good leather on the contender.

R5: Eiza slugging her way into Yvonne's waist and ribs, backing blonde to ropes with short, pounding lefts and rights. Gonzales securing Strahovski by reaching in under her arms, chesting her to ropes, shoving off, then bludgeoning away. Eiza tidying up, tipping side to side as she hammers short lefts and rights against Strahovski's head and chest, then digging sexy hup-hup to trembling Aussie tummy. Yvonne reaching to clinch once again, Eiza always pushing in, pressing blonde to ropes, making her take weight, then squirming free of her clutches. Gonzales escaping just before ref can issue breaks: brunette doing a great job staying busy, sustaining constant attrition on Strahovski. Yvonne constantly clubbed about her ears, slugged belly & breasts, she's forced to slug off the ropes once she realizes she can't tie up. Crowd roaring: Strahovski taking a beating, but fetching Gonzales the odd slick right uppercut or swiping close-in hook. Eiza shaking it off, hammering back at Yvonne with elation on every punch. Bell: Gonzales lands a late insurance right hand to Straho's jaw; Lookout corner screaming bloody murder as Eiza strides away unrepentant. Ice packs on the ribs for Yvonne during the break: blonde girl wincing bravely, biting lower lip as she's tended to. Close-quarters wrasslin’ has both fighters’ outfits smearing over each other’s bodies.

R6: Yvonne not expecting to take this kind of pounding from a lower level fighter, steps in to slug. Brutal, glorious fare - battered beauties covering up face-in-gloves when the other's beating upon her, then answering with lips curled off teeth, eyes blazing. When punished, the women reel - stumbling about all numb and shocked, trying to keep elbows in and hands up. When slugging, the women seem revived, eyes bright with hate as they unleash fresh clobberings upon the reviled foe. Senseless tit for tat hits Strahovski in the knees at the midway point: she's buckling, starting to come undone. Eiza digging a cruel left hook to waist, then doubling it into the left uppercut to chin: chesting Yvonne deep to ropes, then unleashes hell. Strahoski a stunned, demoralized beauty - listing badly at the ropes when the bell sounds, Eiza struts away she’s running away with this fight.

R7: Bitter, bitter fighting on a patch of sand just a few feet from Lookout corner, Eiza besieging Yvonne, churning away on her. Strahovski baring her teeth, scrapping back: she's got hands up, absorbing blows, then fitting Gonzales for little left uppercuts off the left foot; tasty little swipe-hooks off the right foot. Crowd on its feet screaming: both girls getting off every couple of seconds in fevered back and forth slugging. Eiza tearing up Yvonne to the midsection - getting after that flat tummy with both hands, then pouring it to ribs & rack. Whenever Straho's guard loosens, Eiza's punching her upside the head: blonde wide eyed, startled as she faces into the pasting. Yvonne connecting again and again with surprisingly tight counters: tall blonde tightening up stroke, fighting well at close range. Down the stretch, vicious trading starts to go Strahoski's way: she's finally off the ropes, slugging her way forward as Gonzales starts to cover up. Yvonne torturing Eiza with thick, swinging roundhouses in behind the elbows. Gonzales stooped forward behind her mitts, biting back shouts of pain: she can't punch back late, paralyzed as Strahovski bares her fangs and slams that body. Yvonne bounces a late right hand off Eiza's flank after the bell, ref jumps in, shouting imprecations at both women.

R8: Yvonne chops a nuisance lead right, Eiza doggedly marching through it. Strahovski finally listening to her corner, sliding back as she parcels out lead rights and hooks, luring Gonzales to ropes. Yvonne loose-limbed after her recent punishment, but still connecting with succulent leverage - she's just pasting Eiza here, really bunching up the Mexican beauty. Strahoski dips left shoulder, leans in, hoists another hook up into breadbasket to cramp Gonzales’ momentum, leans into a right hand to Eiza's chin. GONZALES IS HURT! Eiza sagging backwards into ropes: Yvonne slaps a hook across Eiza's face - doubles it - then rips the right uppercut off the right foot. GONZALES OUT ON HER FEET! She's drooping, helpless - Strahovski badly hurt herself wills herself to lather punches from her hips, batting Eiza's sleepy face side to side. AND GONZALES IS DOWN! Eiza collapsing face-first to sands, hands underneath her at her chest and tummy and IT'S OVER! Good lord - Yvonne pounds out a sweltering KO8 to survive

After: Blonde girl makes a point of stepping into Eiza's space and shouting "YES!" in her face, bringing officials in hot. "My guys told me I was losing the fight after 6," Yvonne reports in postfight, "and that just flipped a switch inside me. I battered Eiza, I broke her. I never want to see her making eye contact with me again - not after tonight. I'm better, and she better acknowledge that, or she can expect even worse if there's a next time."
