Vikander got off to a winning start for the year with a KO win over Kreiling. It wasn’t exactly easy though. Kreiling was ahead on the cards going into the sixth. Kreiling elected to slug and the punches didn’t go her way and she went down to a KO defeat

Knightly had a good year last year and won her first bout of 2019. A win is always good, but her opponent was McCord, who had lost eight in a row and hadn’t won a fight since 2011. You have to wonder why she is still in a stable.

Ratajkowski and Robbie were both in the top twenty bantams, with Ratajkowski being two slots above her opponent. Well, that is going to change. The loss could well drop Ratajkowski out of the top twenty

Is there any question that Alba should leave the boxing business? She lost to Cuthbert and that loss was her twelfth straight. Not only that, but It was Cuthbert’s first fight in three years and Alba had a four inch height advantage.  Interestingly Alba and McCord are in the same stable and together have notched twenty-one straight losses. I don’t think any other stable can say that

The main event years ago would have been labeled a “senior fight” or even a “cougar bout". Theron. who is usually now a light lightweight, dropped down to bantam to fight Beckinsale renewing an old rivalry.  Theron came from behind to score a last minute TKO. I must say, I was glad to see the GOAT win, but she was not particularly impressive in doing so. Maybe I underestimated Beckinsale. The win was the 250th win of her career (we count the three undated fights) That’s more wins than many entire stables.
