Intro:
Next up is the second semi final in the New Blood lightweight tournament, Russia's Vita Sidorkina vs Poland's Ela Kawalec for the right to fight in the main event her in Los Angeles Staples Center.

Vita is 24 years old; she stands 5'8 and this is her debut fight, she is famous for being a Victoria Secret model.

Ela is 22 years old; she also stands 5'8 and holds a record of 2 wins, both by knockout, though those were both JMDD fights.

Vita was interviewed first with her mentor for the tournament Giselle Bundchen sitting next to her, the FCBA Networks Lucy Liu is the one interviewing them.

The first question concerns why Vita has joined the FCBA, she replies quickly "I have loved boxing for a lot of years, I have been using boxing to keep in shape and now decided to take that leap of faith that I can succeed in this organization"

Giselle is then asked to give her opinion on how good Vita is, she answers with a smile "I honestly didn't need to do much with her teaching wise, I lucked out on someone who trains already, it was about tightening her game up, which I feel we did during our time together"

Vita adds "I have always looked up to Giselle, so it was an honour to train with a former Queen of the Ice Hotel, hell maybe she can train me to be a future Queen" making Giselle smirk and nod.

The final question is her opinion on her opponent, Vita smiles as she replies "I have been able to watch her fights she has had and well all I see is someone who has big tits, while not much in the brain department, I'll be happy to give her a real lesson in boxing"

Ela meanwhile has Joanna Krupa as her mentor, both look relaxed as they sit waiting for the interview to begin with Lucy.

When it begins Lucy asks how Ela is finding training for more traditional rules then she is used to, making Ela smile as she sits forwards to answer "honey JMD and traditional boxing aren't world's apart you know"

She continues "go look up my debut fight with Jessica Colorado, we did plenty of hitting above our tits, with me coming out on top then as I will in this tournament"

Lucy looks a little taken aback by the confidence in Ela, but Joanna chips in to say "Lucy this is the favourite in my eyes, all those other girls are simply making up the numbers for her to swat down on her way to that tiara, so don't be shocked when it happens"

Ela chuckles before saying "before you ask me; Vita doesn't worry me one bit, you'll have heard we had words in the gym, next time we are face to face she won't have trainers getting between us to save her"

Both girls stand up; with Lucy looking like she has more questions, but the Polish duo have made their statements and are off the set before Lucy can argue for them to come back.

Fight night; out comes Vita with Giselle beside her, both look all business as they head down to the ring.

She is wearing a red sports bra with white trim, matching trunks, red gloves with white thumbs, red shoes, while her hair is in a ponytail.

After she steps into the ring; Vita poses at the center of the ring with hands on her hips, showing off her toned physique before she heads to her corner to warm up.

Ela now comes out with Joanna beside her, the two strut down to the ring together, looking confident that tonight is going to be theirs.

She is wearing a white sports bra with red trim, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves with white thumbs, while her hair is braided.

Climbing into the ring; Ela jogs over her her corner to mount the bottom ropes, flexing her arms as she grins, eating in the love from her fans, before she hops down to get warmed up.

The referee brings the fighters together, neither woman looks like they will give an inch to the other as they touch foreheads, not a word uttered as their stares do the talking.

When ordered to touch gloves, they exchange a shoves instead and the referee has to order both women back to their corners after a warning, the fighters just keen to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
As the bell rings both start off trading in tight, letting their hands go as they scruffily try to try impart their anger onto their rival.
At the urge of Giselle telling her to box; Vita disengages from the inside fighting to slam two punches straight into the nose of Ela.
Vita starting to show that boxing training as her opponent is too riled up it seems to think straight, leading to the Russian landing clean punches to the Polish fighters face.
Late in the round; Ela does catch Vita with a straight into her mouth, followed by her stepping in close to slam away to the body.
The fighters finish the round as they started by slugging it out in close, till the round ends with the referee stepping in to push them apart.
Returning to their corners; Giselle praises Vita but reminds her to use her technical skills, don't get dragged into an unwanted slugfest with this girl.
Round 2:
This time Vita starts off more controlled, using her jab more as she shows she isn't just a pretty face by marking up her opponent's face.
Ela though shows her own speed off, slipping under a left cross to get inside, where she goes back to work on the body of the Russian, making her groan out with the hits.
As Vita nudges her back; Ela proves to be like a terrier, gnawing at the the defence of her opponent as she keeps marching forwards.
Most of the punches land off the gloves of Vita, till Ela uses her left shoulder to nudge her onto the ropes, making Vita look ready to complain if not for the fist of the Polish fighter slamming across her face.
The crowd getting a good stand up battle as both women trade head shots, before Vita gets headbutted on the chin by Ela, who claims it was an accident.
The referee breaks them up; giving Vita a small break and Ela a warning to keep her head up or face punishment.
The remainder of the round seeing Vita on the defensive as Ela stalks her around the outside of the ring till the round ends.
Ela looking more happy with herself as she jogs back to a smiling Joanna, who tells Ela to keep the pressure on as she thinks Vita is just a boxercise chick.
Round 3:
Both women look warmed up as they exchange more punches at a time now, landing through the others gloves as they circle near the center of the ring.
As Ela tries to step in close; she gets hit with a double jab onto her nose to ward her back, with Vita starting to box again.
That experience of Ela though comes into play as she parries a straight punch to come inside to dig a right under the left jug of her opponent.
It is clearly the first time that has happened to Vita as her eyes go wide, Giselle yells for her to focus as she watches Ela smack Vita across the mouth with an overhand right, causing a trickle of blood to run from her bottom lip.
Vita goes into her shell as Ela starts to back her up onto the ropes with hooks around to her body, making the Russian groan out as Giselle continues to look annoyed at her fighter.
Late in the round Vita leans out the way of a right aimed at her head, countering with a left cross that turns her opponent's head.
As Vita starts to back up Ela with straight shots to her face, the bell rings to end the round, with Giselle giving Vita a lecture as she sits down on her stool.
Across the ring the Polish corner looking much more calm, they discuss what the next stage of the plan is now they seem to be getting into the head of Vita.
Round 4:
Ela comes out looking good, she is looking to keep things tight as she uses little nudges to keep Vita slightly off balance.
Then targets the bloody lips of Vita to make her cry out as she drives her back behind her guard, Ela begins to smile as the confidence grows.
That's till Ela gets caught with a right across her face, maybe some overconfidence as Vita gets into space to work at range.
The Russian slams a two punch combo between the mitts of Ela to knock her head back, with Ela missing a right hook.
Vita looking to be growing back in the fight, slamming punches into the face of her rival, then dodging the punches coming at her.
For the first time in a while Giselle looks more calmer, watching Vita box instead of being bullied around the ring, the cheeks of Ela look to be swelling up.
But Ela catches Vita late on in the round, Vita steps into a left cross with a left following to the bloody lips, making Vita retreat behind her guard in the dying seconds of the round.
The round comes to a close with Giselle patting Vita on the back for a much improved better round, but telling her to keep her guard tight.
Round 5:
Even after a bad round Ela looks confident to keep moving forwards, throwing punches aimed at the head of Vita as she looks to keep her in retreat.
Vita is moving her head more though, dodging most of what is coming her way, before throwing back counter shots to the chin of her opponent.
That makes Ela a little gun shy, allowing Vita to work with more freedom, suddenly things are starting to turn to the Russians favour as she bashes her opponent back.
Ela does manage to land two punches to the top of Vita's head, before switching back to JMD mode to slam an uppercut into the jugs of Vita.
Again it makes Vita cover up as she definitely didn't expect that type of assault, giving Ela the opening to work to the sides of the body again.
But as seconds tick away in the round, Vita nudges Ela back before she lands an uppercut that rocks the head back of the Pole, with more punches sending her into the ropes.
The bell rings with Vita angrily yelling at Ela as the referee steps between them, Vita storms back to her corner as Giselle looks a little shocked by the burst of emotion.
Vita admits to her that she is sick of Ela's tactics, Giselle replying "then put the bytch out her misery" as they watch Ela return to her corner on shaky legs.
Round 6:
As the round begins Ela looks to go on the front foot, but she soon misses with a right cross, WITH AN UPPERCUT CATCHING HER CLEAN ON THE CHIN TO LIFT HER UP ON HER TOES, BEFORE CRUMBLING TO THE CANVAS!
Vita stares angrily at Ela as she heads to a neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Ela groans but isn't moving much, 5...6...7.. She slowly gets her side, 8...9...10 she doesn't do much more though as she is counted out!

Winner Vita Sidorkina KO Round 6

After:
A stunning knockout gives Vita the first win of her career, she heads over to Ela to scream at her how she feels about her, with the referee holding her back.

There's nearly trouble between the coaches as Giselle and Joanna argue about controlling fighters, things looking like they are getting out of hand with the insults flying.

All the while the ringside doctor is in the ring checking on Ela, who is helped to sit up after she stirs awake, pounding the canvas as her unbeaten run is over and to someone she clearly hates as she spits her gumshield out, while staring angrily at Vita.

Who is starting to do a victory lap already, getting a nice cheer from her supporters, while Ela's fans boo her in reply.

While Joanna helps Ela up and out of the ring, they just want to be away from the gloating Russian, as Ela starts to sob over what happened.

Vita finally gets her arm raised as Giselle works on that bloody lip, Vita probably beginning to realise that the final is later, she has a target on her face for her opponent to hit.

Giselle assures her that she'll do her best to teach her to protect it, but how long does she have to do that? With Wallis Day waiting for Vita later tonight in that final.

They both leave the ring together, Vita smiling at the crowd as she looks confident despite the few war wounds that tonight she is bringing home the tiara.
