BEFORE:
"I have to be honest guys…” Hayley William says with a smile, responding to a reporter’s question on how she would rate her own performance thus far in 2019. “A 5-5 record is NOT where I was hoping to be after a year in the ring, especially when compared to my fellow stablemates. I guess you could say that I'm underperforming. But trust me, I WANT to step up my game; I WILL step up my game. There's no reason why Avril or Emma should be the face of our Flyweight division when I can be as good as they are, maybe even better. I had a rough time against Sammi, but I’m learning from each fight, and besides…I'm facing a new girl today. I'd like to wish Natalia good luck, but honestly…I know it’s my fight to win, and I’m gonna to win it. You can quote me on that."

Natalia looking confident for a brand new rookie, recently signed to her new stable and hoping to prove that she absolutely belongs in that ring. The Stranger Things breakout starlet looks absolutely gorgeous in her tied-up, bundled hair, green sports bra and black yoga tights, as she smiles back at Hayley from across the table.

“I guess I should feel honoured that Hayley considers me a threat, if at all. I just broke into the entertainment business myself, so I’m still getting my feet wet. And ditto for this boxing thing. I’m just happy to be accepted into the league, and I hope to put up a good fight tonight. I already have one win….lets make it two!”

their respective entrances nothing of note but both still being welcomed into the arena by screaming fans on both sides of the aisle. Hayley Williams as always with the rocker persona, jumping onto the stage with high octane levels of energy, hoping to carry this through to the ring action itself. Dyer on the other hand muted as she barely waves to the crowds on her way down the ramp, hoping to focus solely on the challenge ahead.

Girls touching up gloves later in the ring, Hayley jumping up and down, wanting this contest to begin while Natalia looking more stiff, perhaps worried, perhaps just doing her best to focus and ignore the noise from the crowed who are eager with anticipation themselves here tonight!

Referee waves to start this fight and without further ado, HERE we go with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Hayley Williams dictating the pace of action early on, forcing Natalia into a heated exchange on multiple occasions. Not an unexpected play from the energetic Doll, who with more experience under her belt, is hoping to use it to her own advantage. Dwyer like a deer caught in headlights, has trouble dealing with the rapid punches in her direction, with Williams getting in close and flicking away. Hayley in particular targeting the brunette’s head, hoping to stun her into early submission, but Natalia bites back intermittently, landing jabs of her own into the fast Canadian singer's face. Overall, however, Williams still taking the round for herself by a comfortable margin.

ROUND 2:
Both girls using their feet a little more in the second round, with Dyer now with a better idea of what she has to deal with in there. Both these women are Flyweights, so they’re able to let fly at each other and away from each other as well, at a brisker pace. Dyer shaping up to be a defensive attacker in the little action we’ve seen her in, moving away from Hayley’s advance and taking most of her jabs on her arms instead. Natalia then using her right hand to tap William’s face for a good portion of the round, suddenly turning the tables on the singer. Of course, the newbie is lacking in power, and causes more frustration than hurt to Hayley as the round draws to a close. Williams’ response is an even bigger charge towards her opponent in the final minute, blowing a barrage of quick shots all over Dyer’s frame. It’s not enough to take the round back, but you can’t blame her for trying.

ROUND 3:
However, Hayley still playing catch up in the third as Natalia keeps up her defensive stance, and Williams not realising that you don’t try and rush a fighter like that, with her guard secured over her face and perfectly capable of firing punches back into your own. Hayley grunting repeatedly in the first minute as Dyer shoves leather into her lips, even banging on her body with a sweet left-right combo that has her bent over and staggered. Natalia still biding her time, keeping her distance and peppering her guard, not rushing in even with her foe hurt. She’s playing it cautious in case Hayley roars back with vengeance all of a sudden. Bell rings and Williams still left with some soul-searching to do if she wants to take back this fight for her corner.

ROUND 4:
Dyer’s coaches however urging her to move in close for the kill, and the rookie complies. Not sure it's the best strategy though when Hayley switches her strategy up in reply, and we have a reversal of roles in this fourth round instead: Natalia the aggressor and Hayley the one on the back-pedal. Dyer then having difficulty putting her foe away for good, with Williams also standing tall on both her feet and moving continuously to avoid her jabs. It’s almost a stalemate until the third minute, with neither girl really landing significantly, when Hayley scores a counter-jab-jab straight up into Dyer’s nose, giving her a taste of her own medicine as she’s stunned by the stinging pain. Girls rest and catch their breaths from opposite sides of the ring, letting the time run itself out.

ROUND 5:
Three straight rounds down at this point for Hayley Williams, and you can imagine why some pundits have questioned her in-ring abilities in the past. First minute and both ladies are still unsure of each other as they circle and jab, Hayley playing the defensive role and Dyer not keen on getting punched in the face either. Soon, however, the Doll seizing on the lack of action and jumping into the empty space in between, scoring with more jabs on Dyer’s nostrils in quick and lightning fashion. Dyer’s face noticeably screwed up as she realises she’s lost her own advantage, quickly covers up and retreats, but unable to stop Hayley’s fast and long punches from landing over and over. Williams sneaks in a couple more hands to the brunette’s body and chest, making Natalia gasp out loud as she stumbles backwards, but the bell rings soon after, denying either woman a clear knockdown thus far.

ROUND 6:
Dyer doing her best to fend off Williams again, only this time, the Doll’s had some time to catch her own breath and now surging forward with renewed energy and drive. The new girl just can’t keep pace with a Williams here, who’s overflowing with energy, her finger on the pulse of the match itself. Hayley with a better feel of when to attack and when not to, in contrast to Dyer’s hesitancy throughout this fight and having to rely on others to tell her what to do. Second minute and another flurry to Dyer’s face has the brunette seeing stars. Another big right hand from Williams lands straight on the chin, blowing Natalia backwards and off her feet, her arms and legs flying in the wind! Natalia hits the ground hard on her side, in a nasty KNOCKDOWN for Williams!

A beast of a rush from the rocker as she fulfills her own promise to make short work of Dyer! Hayley with a big smile on her face, one arm high in the air as she makes her way to neutral corner.

Natalia scrambling on her side, eyes tearing up from the pain she must be feeling. She’s trying to crawl her way to the ropes, but things don’t look too hopeful, with the ref already past the count of 5... Dyer’s dreams of getting a win tonight getting dashed completely, as she’s helpless to stand once he passes the 10-count! It's all over!

Official Decision: Hayley Williams defeats Natalia Dyer via KO6!

AFTER:
Hayley’s smile only getting bigger now as she raises both arms into the air, then wasting no time to climb up the turnbuckle to acknowledge the fans. Hopefully this will be a fresh start of a sustained streak for her in the ring, and showing a little sportswomanship definitely doesn’t hurt either. Williams sympathetically going to check on Dyer soon thereafter, the brunette sitting with her back to the ropes and getting looked over by medics. The two girls share a few complimentary words of encouragement, before Hayley heads out of the ring and joins her stablemates in celebration.

Later, the Doll speaks to reporters backstage: “I think I controlled the fight pretty well…I’m no longer new to this, and she is. I felt it in there. She gave me plenty of problems though, so I’m glad I found a way to wear her down. My next opponent? Umm…probably not someone new. I want a big win to boost my confidence and experience in there...so…I’ll be looking for one. Stay tuned!”
