Damaris Lewis (Beevers Babes USA) vs Bella Hadid (Fighting Academy)

After demolishing former welterweight champion Gemma Atkinson, 28 year old Damaris has taken her place in the Beevers Babes USA stable, and she is challenging Bella Hadid, 22 year old sister of Gigi, who has been encouraging her sibling to raise her game, which she will need to do tonight

Damaris is wearing a white bikini tonight, and Bella a yellow one, as the girls set themselves for this matchup

Round 1

Damaris is looking good as she dominates Bella early in the opening round, softens the younger girl up with a few smart left jabs, keeping her right hand ready to launch one of those solid right hooks at the earliest opportunity – and the opportunity soon comes, as she feints to Bella’s body, brings her guard down, and crashes her right hook into the taller girls face, making her stumble backwards, not following after her in anything like a hurry, letting her regain her senses rather than over commit herself and risk getting sucker – punched, Bella recovering, standing up and boxing neatly, the round conceded to the older babe, who looks happy as she struts to her corner after the bell ends round one.

Round 2

Damaris is slotting Bella with regular left jabs into her face, which is already showing some red marks around her left cheek and eye, but the younger girl is boxing well now, finding some rhythm of her own to jab and keep in tight behind the jab, never giving Damaris a moments peace, the older model less composed now, as Bella bops her face more and more easily, Damaris shocked as she receives some quite hostile punishment, Bella setting her back, and trying to set her up as well, keeping the older girl steady by hooking her hard and often around the body, then steadying her with some very stiff looking jabs to her face, Damaris bleeding from her nose and lips as the round closed, Bella suddenly looking the better prospect

Round 3

It’s more of the same for Damaris as Bella works her around the ring again, that right jab certainly causing problems, and Damaris is already in retreat, taking more punches from Bella, who smiles sweetly as she thumps Bella’s head back on her neck time after time, the lower part of her face smeared in blood now, and she looks uncomfortable as more punches smack into her mouth and jaw, retaliates as best she can with heavy punches to Bella’s body, but the younger girl still comes at her, gets caught with a peach of a left hook to her flank, but still manages to hit Damaris with her right jab, left hook combination, tries out an uppercut with her right hand, but finds Damaris wise to that one, the older girl finally finding the target again with her right hook, worrying Bella a little more in the closing seconds

Round 4

These girls have punched each other with everything they have for three rounds, with neither of them visiting the canvas, but not for the want of trying as Bella hits Damaris again and again, with jabs and crosses, switches from southpaw to orthodox, confusing the older girl, but not stopping her from competing as she crashes a couple of good punches into Bella’s skull, a solid left cross and right hook, the younger girl looking a little dazed, and backing off, in retreat at last as Damaris shows her power, but Bella’s taking those big shots reasonably well, Damaris left hooks to her body draining her energy though, and she’s beginning to get bullied by the older girl, who lands one of her stinging right hooks, Bella on the back foot, and she gets some more punishment, trying to cover, but getting hit with uppercuts up between her gloves, and she too is bleeding badly from her nose at the bell

Round 5

Bella’s a little slower to rise for this round, and Damaris seems to have spotted that she’s weakened the younger girl, and she’s tucking into her, landing some crushing bodyshots, Bella looking very weary all of a sudden, her legs beginning to wobble, Damaris hitting her hard with a right hook to her flank, the leather of her glove making a hard slapping sound as it drills into the lovely girl’s flesh, and her gloves drop defensively, Damaris giving herself a little space, then she crashes another right hook into Bella, this time to her jaw, and that’s put her down on her back, and she doesn’t move

Result: Damaris Lewis knocked out Bella Hadid in round 5

In the end, Damaris had too much power for Bella, but she was outboxed for long periods, and will need to improve if she’s to make a real mark in FCBA. Will Gigi Hadid agree to fight her in the May PPV?
