TESS VALMORE
In the opening featured two newcomers. Chanel Stewart beat Sarah Ellen in a five round KO It will be interesting to see how soon we see either in a second bout, if ever.
Rambin picked the wrong fighter to get into the ring with after a fourteen month layoff. Ratajkowski hadn’t exactly been setting the world on fire recently. but notched the win
Agdal won her bout, but she was facing a newbie. A win by a debut fighter against an experienced opponent is extremely rare.
Justice/Collins. This was pretty much of a gimme. Collins used the fight as a bounce back from a recent loss and get back on track. Theron’s manager should take note. You want to sharpen your skills, fight a loser in what amounts to more of a sparring session than a fight. It did take Collins a lot longer than I expected. Maybe she needs another gimme.
The final bout would have been a main event almost anywhere. Two top lightweights. The fight was impressive and disappointing at the same time. Ren was impressive in coming back from her shocking loss to Lynch As far as Kerr it was disappointing. She has now lost five of her last seven, which raises the question at 35, has Kerr moved to the downside. I wouldn’t be surprised.
