Shailene Woodley versus Alesha Dixon

(Words: Bazz / Results: Lookout!)

Before: “Well when I decided that I needed to get back to the FCBA we sat down and tried to figure out which fighter fit the bill, so to speak. Shailene was the perfect starting point for me. She’s an up and comer. We have an excellent relationship with her manager Pointy and, of course, you can’t start at the top. She’s just talented enough to get our feet wet, so to speak. I can dispatch with this Bazz girl and move along from there. Don’t get me wrong, she’s as athletic as they come, but we’re not scared.” Alesha Dixon starts up with the trash talk right from the get go.

“Wow! I mean what a dingbat! You think that you’re just going to win and walk on up the FCBA bantam ladder? I don’t take that! I’m going to beat you silly you crazy Beyotch!” Shailene Woodley can’t handle it anymore. She launches herself off the podium towards Alesha Dixon only to be stopped in mid air by one Poindexter Del Crunchy’s chest. The rather large Scotsman having participated in enough Cassie Scerbo matches is an expert at sensing potential trouble between fighters and has intervened by placing his body between the two fighters.

“Well that’s it! Have a big a$$ Scotsman ruin your fights! He can’t stop me from punching you silly in the ring! See you up in the arena soon enough you slack jawed, mouth breather!” Alesha Dixon shows off some excellent trash talking talent as she is pulled away by management.

Alesha barely able to pose she’s so bent on getting into the ring. She looks sleek in a white bikini matched with dark green gloves and boxing boots and loose hair. Meanwhile Shailene looking absolutely enraged in her Bazz Black leather bikini, gloves and boots. Her hair quickly going from loose and tangly to battle ready ponytailed by one Cassandra Lynn Scerbo.

Rd 1 Shailene grinning widely as she bounds out from her corner. Not happy grinning but more mad woman with a weapon in her hand grinning. She approaches Dixon who is bouncing side to side waiting for her opponent when Woodley launches a perfectly timed three punch combination that tags Alesha to the head sending her reeling backwards. Aleesha recognizing a blitzkrieg when she sees one heads directly for the hills. It’s Woodley all over Dixon right away. Up against the ropes Alesha is in survival mode while Woodley pounds away with rights and lefts. The crowd is going nuts while Shailene goes with a Hup! Hup! Hup! to the chest region while Alesha covers her head from further assault. Woodley all elbows and fists working out on Dixon while she begins throwing her first punches of the fight. Most are falling by the wayside while Woodley continues to take her frustration out on Alesha. The bell for the round sounds with a cheer from Dixon’s camp that their fighter is not only still on her feet but still alive. Woodley walks away keeping her eyes on Dixon, glaring at the pummeled fighter as she makes her way to her corner.

Rd 2 Dixon calmed down in her corner, no doubt reminded about what can happen when one pulls prefight verbal antics. Surprisingly she looks none the worse from the first round beat down. Woodley starts out with some strong jabs catching Dixon a couple of times. Meanwhile Alesha scores with a two punch combination that tags Shailene on the chin and left breast. From there Alesha starts moving about the canvas. It’s stick and run for her as she tries her best to avoid a repeat of the first round. Woodley all loose and lanky circling Dixon looking for an opening. Dixon keeping her distance but is still scoring with her jab. Woodley is trying to score big in order to finish this quickly. She tries for a shot to Dixon’s left side only to get hit by a stiff jab that knocks her back. The bell sounds with Alesha Dixon miraculously winning the round. Woodley besides herself as she bounds back to her corner.

Rd 3 Dixon gaining a lot of confidence sticks to the jab and move motif. Woodley is still trying to smack Dixon with the one punch knockout. It’s a regrettable strategy. Alesha keeps scoring with each flurry of jabs. She’s circling Woodley and staying on her bicycle. Shailene’s getting sick of getting touched up in the face and not making contact herself. She starts chasing down Dixon with strong jabs. Dixon feeling the heat retreats throwing her own jabs as she backs down. Dixon’s techniques is tormenting Woodley who can’t seem to find a way into Alesha’s body. Alesha seems to have turned the tables on Shailene while it is nowhere as savage as the first round her constant jabs are effective and scoring often. Shailene grimacing and grunting on each punch trying to overpower Dixon. For the most part Alesha does the majority of the scoring during the round with her subtle technique of sneaking jabs and right hands in on Woodley. Meanwhile as the round comes to an end Shailene possibly foreshadowing lands a loud and punishing shot to Dixon’s right side with a strong left hand buggywhip punch.

Rd 4 Both fighters have settled in with a technique that they hope to ride to victory. Alesha dancing on the outside while Shailene going to the body, no longer looking to go for the home run punch. Dixon flirts with Shailene stepping in on right leg and turning to thrust out with a strong jab. Shailene catching her opponent with her own jabs tags Alesha with a straight left hand. Dixon stunned backs up a step but Woodley covers the distance between them plants a right leg and turns with her right arm producing a thunderous right cross to the head. DOWN GOES DIXON! Alesha on her side and then rolling over going flat on her back. Ref gets the counting over with knowing that she’s just not getting back up. IT”S A $ ROUND KO FOR SHAILENE WOODLEY!

After: “Pointy told me that if I wanted to lose this fight I should just keep on being pissed at her. I mean what she said in prefight that’s just a bunch of BS! Who does that sort of stuff! There’s more respect in a Scerbo-Hudgens fight! Still Pointy said that letting her get into my head was a great way to make a mistake and he’s right.” Woodley animated when asked about the prefight fracas. “I got a little lost after the first round but got it back in the fourth. I can’t let that happen in any other fights. A better fighter may have decked me in the second or third round. I can’t afford that.”
