Ashley Greene vs Jenny McCarthy

Before: Jenny blitzing the mike as expected: “There's no question I'm the bigger name, the better commodity and superior fighter! Now that that sparkly vampire thing is over, she’s just going to fade into the background! But before she does, I’m going to remind everyone what a REAL fighting Playmate looks like! This is the LAST time I open a card! It’s all main events going forward!”



When Ashley finally gets a word in, she’s as subdued as fighter who’s still under .500, with rumors flying about the words “free to a good home” being bandied about should be: “This isn’t where we thought we’d be. But you can’t think like that. I’m not thinking about Demi, or Claire, I’m going to beat Jenny. And the rest will settle itself.”

R1: Ashley jabbing stubby, touching Jenny in her body and breasts; follows up a raucous right cross, turning blonde’s head and sending her backpedaling. McCarthy hits ropes, rebounds looking to slug: Greene crouches down, puts a shoulder heavy into Jenny’s chest, throwing her back into ropes all ragdoll. POUNDING volley to the waistline out a loose crossed arm, leans in to shoulder McCarthy against ropes again, then whacks at her torso beefy lefts and rights. Heavy handed swat from Greene as she stays on top, using left shoulder, extended left elbow to keep Jenny pinned down. McCarthy showing earmuff, not enjoying her time on the ropes. Steady bell to bell beatdown issued as Greene gets about the business of reducing her energetic foe.





R2: Blistering exchange midring—both girls getting off, a ringing left uppercut sends Ashley stumbling to her left. Jenny on follow up: straight right hand off the hop-in; hook to the hip; right to the chest, Greene slugged to ropes, her turn to assume earmuff. Middle minute sees McCarthy square away, working over either flank as Ashley’s crouching forward behind her gloves. Final minute, Greene’s recovered enough to slug-with: girls fronting up behind high guards, taking turns jerking short uppercuts or hooks against prepared defenses.



R3: Jenny with her own burst of three stubby jabs, works Ashley backwards: hard right hand detonates against her chest. Greene bobbing, looking to hook out of the crouch: she’s catching McCarthy in the right armpit; across jug; across chin. Jenny backs off, circles right, shows the jab, both fighters’ versatility in evidence as they break out the boxing look. Sand swishing through the second and third minute as they search for openings. Final seconds, girls trade rights/comeback hooks: ringing face-punches set Ashley stamping on her heels as Jenny finds the mark with two-fisted authority.





R4: Jenny stepping left around her jab, pumping stick to Ashley’s face. Greene weaving side to side, leaping in looking to engage shoulder to shoulder. Mac catching Ashley with some stout licks, but always backing up afterwards: brunette crossing her arms, bobbing forward, taking the fight to Jenny always and everywhere. Ragged retreats from McCarthy: she’s mouthbreathing, perplexed—she just can’t punch Greene off her this time. Ashley eventually muscles Jenny to ropes, fighting off her chest with good old fashioned bump-n’-slug. McCarthy spanked senseless, but chesting up defiant at the bell, scorning Greene with “That the best you got?”



R5: Jenny shows a peppy left hand—hooking brisk off her jab, punching off the front foot, Ashley’s forward progress slowed, then halted altogether as she tries to penetrate, only to be driven back by punishing McCarthy right hands. Jenny bouncing her fist off Ashley’s forehead, able to come forward as the Playmate’s slowly renegotiating terms this round. McCarthy able to establish a rhythm behind her jab: Hard, chopping right crosses up top; rising left uppercut/hooks from the underneath neatly solving Greene’s crossed arm guard, pounding away both hands as brunette slumps against ropes, taking.



R6: Ol’One-Two bounces off Jenny's high guard; dip-and-rip left hook bites at sternum, McCarthy’s body cringing forward. Right hand chops in behind blonde left elbow; left uppercut picks up Jenny's overhanging forehead, Ashley puttin' 'em together; Jenny munching. Left uppercut to chin straightens McCarthy...she reaches a tired right, gets beat to the punch as Greene POUNDS right cross to chin. Wicked side to side head-snap for Jenny...knees buckle, but strong legs hold her up as she forms earmuff. Ashley moves in with left cradling McCarthy 'round the right flank, cuddling her for rich, pumping right hands up into breadbasket. Jenny grunting as she folds forward behind her mitts, held and hit, Ashley working gut like a champ, backing blonde butt into ropes. Harder palm-down hook as Greene comes up off the body, McCarthy shuffling groggy along the ropes, feet out of position. Slamming right as Ashley leans into it, Jenny catching flush, stumbling forward then SPLASHING TO THE SAND! Mac blurting in groggy pain, rolling to her right, then flopping to her back, lashes batting. IT'S OVER! Jenny Mac can't get off her back - left hand gripping semi-consciously at her right shoulder as she's counted out. KO6 Ashley Greene!
