Candice Swanapoel versus Georgia Mae Gibbs

Candice:

BEFORE:

“Another girl who managed to beat Nina Agdal easily,” Georgia rubbing salt into her fellow stablemate’s wound as she shakes her head at a question asked from the floor. “Candice ain’t that tough, but what does that make poor Nina? I’m gearing towards being the top Lightweight of this stable, and I’ll prove it by knocking Swanepoel out in five rounds - something that Agdal could never accomplish.”

Shots fired and more than one girl is meant to take offense. Candice Swanepoel, her actual opponent tonight, clearly rolls her eyes and pucks those luscious lips, folding her arms over her chest.

“Who *are* you? Just a little blonde who thinks she can take me. I’ve got more fights under my belt than your total number combined, Gibbs. So, yeah, I’m not worried about the outcome tonight. I’ll put this blondie down the same way I did to her sister. Maybe then VIX will start treating me seriously.”

A model-affair as the two blondes come face-to-face in the ring. They’re both the same height and built, the only differences coming down to age and experience. They stare into each other’s eyes with a scary steadiness, hands on hips and refusing to back down, not until the referee comes in between and pushes them backwards. The fans are eager to see this unconventional face-off as well. HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:

Long-legged models try and establish their dominance early, each one knocking the head to the side with early, power shots landing. Both girls getting in close and then targeting the head almost exclusively, taking turns to score a blow to the cheek before their opponent returns a similar CRACK right back. This seems to go on for a good minute before Gibbs swerves back at the last moment and avoids one of those return hooks from Candice. Swanepoel’s eyes open wide as she’s treated to a lightning fast combo across the face, sending the South African beauty reeling off to the side in shock. Damage done to both these ladies in the opening round, but Gibbs’ hounding off the older woman towards the end will certainly push her over in terms of points.

ROUND 2:

Candice just got careless back there, or at least that’s what she’s telling herself. Both blondes go back to firing all cylinders at close range, repeatedly snagging leather gloves into the lips or occasionally even grazing past the defences and drawing a gurgle from a well-placed hook to the body. Candice especially seems to be switching targets to Georgia’s body, wreaking havoc on the undefended south side of things, with Gibbs’ eyes suddenly bulging as she eats another side dig, Candice following up with a swipe at her belly down below. The Australian blonde definitely fights back with whatever she can, scoring a hook of her own into the side of Candice’s face late in the third. But is it enough to sway the judges? Probably not.

ROUND 3:

Swanepoel however not giving up the tummy chase, starts poking at Georgia’s midsection the moment she comes in close. Gibbs getting stopped in her tracks whenever she tries to swing in hooks of her own, instead eating some painful, winding retaliation as Swanpoel twists her head from side-to-side. Price to pay on the path to greatness, we always say. Gibbs finally choosing to hang back, one arm favouring her bruised body and the other loosely hovering over her chest. It’s cue for Swanepoel to strike the iron hard and fast, pouncing with a series of swipes across the Aussie’s chest, then battering at her sides with the intention to stun and disrupt. Gibbs goes stumbling in all directions, poking back Swanpoel’s face not so effective as her own two feet get confused and hopelessly lost. Swanepoel lends another right hand to Georgia’s face and FLOORS the Vixen with a second power hook to the chest, literally knocking the blonde off her feet like a clothesline from hell, and sending Georgia Gibbs crashing down to the canvas!

OUCH!! KNOCKDOWN is early for the South African beauty as she steps over Georgia’s prone body on her way back to corner, hands already raised in celebration! Things are certainly not looking good for this other blonde who said before she wanted to try her luck against that Candice magic. Gibbs blinking up at the ceiling lights for a good four counts before forcing herself at least to sit back up and resume the fight. Swanepoel in control, belly pulsing in neutral corner as she smiles at the sight of the ‘weakling’ getting up by the count of 8. The fans can’t seem to agree more, roaring for this fight to continue until one woman just can’t take it anymore and stays the f*ck down!

ROUND 4:

A more cautious approach from Georgia Gibbs as she hunkers down for the expected torrent of abuse that never really comes. Curious that Candice Swanpoel opted for this strategy of wait-and-see, Candice also hanging back when the bell rings and exchanging short punches from afar. Perhaps she’s just biding her time like the last encounter, before springing into action and putting the final nail in the coffin. But slowly and surely, this reluctance to engage enables Georgia to recuperate and start punching back as well. If Candice was waiting for the opportune moment to strike, we really think she’s missed it here. Case in point: in the last minute, both ladies are picking up the pace slightly, bunching up the cheek or poking fists into the nose of body from afar. But it’s Georgia who executes a nasty three-point combo on her opponent: a left hook slammed into Candice’s side, then another one-two slams into her nostrils hard, pushing that gorgeous head back. Before Swanepoel can retaliate or spring her second plan into action, the bell rings and this round goes back to Gibbs.

ROUND 5:

First round is a repeat show of the earlier ones, both blondes exchanging fire as they each look to gain the upper hand. Candice dipping under a straight attack from Gibbs, before wrapping herself up with her arms around the chest, bullying Gibbs back to the ropes. Gibbs letting out yelps of pain as Swanepoel’s leather buried into her midsection over and over, the Australian almost powerless to get out of the hold with her own arms trapped within or locked out. Candice licking her lips as she dips her head into Georgia’s shoulder, elbows churning and churning as she goes to work mashing her gloves up into the other blonde’s body. Suddenly though, the Foxfire darling lets out a loud YELP! Georgia’s desperation overriding her sense of decency, forehead slamming HARD into her foe’s. Candice reels back in pain, but Gibbs not stopping there, with a knee lift sent straight up between Candice’s thighs! Candice lets out a groan as pain shoots through the rest of her body, her muscles turning to jelly as Georgia keeps her upright, rotates her around and props her up with her own arms and hips. Payback time as Gibbs goes to work, growling as an elbow forced into Swanpoel’s windpipe, stacking her up, then a free hand plugging the belly button like a punching bag, relishing her foe’s repeatedly gasps as the air escapes her body. Referee has to pry these two apart when the bell rings when they’re still going at it on the ropes, twisting, turning and tucking fists into each other’s body with no sense of stopping.

ROUND 6:

Mad round as neither girl wants to give up so easily, and both of them resume the close-quarters abuse when an early hook glances off Candice’s chin and disorientates her slightly. Gibbs rushing in, hoping to score that revenge knockdown with a left-right combo into the body. Candice stunned on her feet, but it’s not enough to stop the return hook from crashing into the side of Georgia’s face. She underestimated her defensive measures and paid the price for it. Girls fall into each other’s embrace once more, taking turns pushing and shoving each other backwards and forwards a couple of steps, their lips on shoulders and their fists explore every possible opening to punish. It’s only round six and they’re already so spent! Neither really having gained the advantage. The round ends with them stumbling and swaying back to their corners for a much needed breather!

ROUND 7:

First minute here and they spend it catching their breaths, and who could really blame them after going all out on each other for the past seven rounds straight. Chests are heaving behind closed guards as they circle left and right, barely hitting anything with those light taps, and even more rare hooks aimed at the head. Candice continuing to target Georgia’s tummy, shooting in punches from afar and finding some success whenever Gibbs lets out a disgruntled groan out loud. But Georgia gets the last laugh when she times a right hook expertly, coinciding with one such combo fired towards her abs. Clean hook catches Candice on her face, rotating her to the side, then ANOTHER hard shot SPINS the poor woman on her feet. Candice lets out a dull groan, hovers on shaky feet for a fraction of a second, before kilting over THUMP onto her side! KNOCKDOWN for Georgia Mae Gibbs, and a permanent one at that! Candice Swanepoel making NO effort whatsoever to get back up, her eyelids fluttering wildly as her lips work in subconscious nothings! It’s over after the referee hits his mandatory 10-count!

Official Decision: Georgia Mae Gibbs defeats Candice Swanepoel via KO7!

AFTER:

Definitely a wild back-and-forth as these two blondes took turns punishing each other silly. Leftover adrenaline as Gibbs gnashes her teeth and immediately picks Swanepoel up by her long hair, gliding her knocked out face up her long legs, then finally resting on her pulsing belly. Swanepoel still knocked out cold, arms grasping at Georgia’s thighs from behind as her chest pounds in and out from these seven rounds of hard fighting.

Gibbs keeps the pose, catching her own breath as she digs two hands into Candice’s hair as she uses her sleeping face as a plaything for the cameras, repeatedly taunting her from above as she flexes a bicep for tomorrow’s headlines.

Somewhere backstage, a certain Nina Agdal is watching the entire show, more than disconcerted at being upstaged by the newest member of the Lightweights. First it was Lily Aldridge stealing her thunder, and now, Georgia Gibbs manages to put away Candice Swanpoel. It’s only a matter of time before the two Vixens clash head-on in a fight to determine the pecking order!
