Before: Main-event blonde names square off in a classic style contrast - Diaz the ring general, Jeri the seek and destroy boxer/puncher. "I just have to be patient," says Ryan in prefight. "Girls like Cameron need to be walked down, you can't just get them all at once. Once she starts breathing hard, once I get my range, I'll start getting to Diaz and we'll see how she handles the heat." Cameron with a different take: "Legs baby - it's all about the legs. I'm too fast, too good for Jeri - my feet will keep her moving all night long and the poor girl won't know what to do. Maybe I won't end her with one punch - that's not my style - but don't be too surprised if this one doesn't go the distance. I loves me a come-forward girl who leads with her face like Ryan and I'll hurt a girl like that." Cam in BI battle dress, Jeri in red bikini.

During R1: Jeri jabbing off the hip, right at her chest or cheek, stepping in off the stick. Diaz roaming on the outside, hands low when she's at range, dropping in slick counter shots over either Jeri hand whenever Ryan gets off. Midway through, a chopping right over Ryan's jab has Jeri double-clutching - Diaz able to steal the round with a flurry of slapping, bewildering punches - brushing Jeri's tummy, slashing at her face. Ryan weathers it well, but she's standing tall, arms high to block, stationary as Cameron gets off pretty.

R2,3: Breezy Cam Diaz boxing - just working the ring, using her legs, putting pretty touches on Jeri as Ryan stalks forward. Ryan too stingy with her punches, trying to walk Cam down and unable to cut the ring off as a result - Cameron changing direction, lithe dancing footwork, then putting her weight on the front foot to pivot and jab, darting lead right hands. Diaz goes flat footed on occasion, covers up, leans in close, then pivots to the left - lets her slip Jeri's late right hands, changes up distance on Ryan and keeps her confused. Cam scoring all her points with sharp punching to Jeri's face - slapping rib work not debilitating - it's just there to confuse and harass Ryan, keep her guessing.

R4: Diaz picking spots to set down, using her legs to get position, lure Ryan forward and walk her into shots. Jeri coming forward, routinely getting nailed the straight right hand, left hook on the ear as Cam pivots to the left. Cam sliding back, fading Jeri's jab, then beating her to counter right uppercuts or crosses as Ryan steps forward to punch. Diaz never hanging around for the receipt - she's scoring, turning away. Down the stretch, beautiful Diaz right uppercut picks Jeri's head up hard. Diaz drops her left hand to her side, clouts Jeri a tight right on the mouth, eases in close with her left shoulder, steps to the right and picks Jeri up clean with the outside-in right uppercut from the oblique angle. Ryan put wobbly butt at the bell, stomping for balance - sunny smile Diaz as she's scrubbing her girl up pretty through 4.

R5: Jeri finally fixes Cameron's position with piston jabbing to the chest, backing the leggy blonde to the ropes, stepping to the right to take away Diaz' pivot. Midway through, Jeri just sticking her girl to the chest and shoulders - Diaz twisting her torso, looking to slip and spin off the ropes when a cleaving, short right hand nips her chin. Magic in Diaz' legs as she folds slightly, then sags glassy eyed into the ropes - Cameron covering up hurt for the first time as the shock of Ryan quivers Cuban thighs. Ryan mopping up big girl - standing tall to bat straight-arm lefts and rights against Cam's long flanks, palming the girl in the shoulders to keep her seated. Ryan leaves Diaz trembling at the bell, gets on the board.

R6: Diaz back to dancing - circling left, keeping well outside. Cam pretty with the jab, tripling it up as she scoots around Jeri's right flank - Ryan constantly forced to reset her feet and chase. Ryan getting good jab touches, but routinely coming up short with piercing right hands - Cameron peeling away from the lethal blows, back arched, hands down as she swivels left.

R7: Relentless Jeri pressure starts to pay off. Ramming jabs on the chest and shoulders stampede Diaz ropeside - Cameron trying to set up flat footed, leaning forward at the waist, hands at her temples - Ryan takes the body. Vicious, reefing rib and hip work from Jeri as she punishes both sides of the plate - shaking the slender Diaz, hobbling her. Midway through - Ryan able to get the right uppercut coming off the body - jerking Diaz back - crowd roaring as Jeri flurries only to miss a desperately writhing Cameron with half a dozen searing blows. Final minute - Jeri belting a mean spirited hook over and over against Cameron's right side - Diaz reaches to clinch and takes that short, well timed right hand curling against her chin. Cameron's legs give way again - she sinks stunned against the ropes, turning to point her right side at Jeri as Ryan lowers her mitts and pitches hard from the hips. Bludgeoning, sidearm power shots rattle Diaz at the bell - Ryan straightening from her work to appreciate the damage.

R8: Cam Diaz sucks it up! Diaz spitting jabs off her stool, pivoting left, but she's not running. Cam setting down and punching - beating Ryan to banging rights on the mouth, coming back with rising hesitation hooks on the chin, then actually stepping forward as Ryan leans back. Cameron putting a dazzling display of lanky combination punching on Jeri, nailing her over and over to the face with loose limbed, slashing lead rights, cupping hooks - stepping out to fade Ryan's right hands, then jabbing back on in for more. Constant, harrying pursuit has Jeri in confused, step-by-step retreat - Diaz gloves shredding the panicked Ryan defense and chopping away on Jeri's tender features. Ryan put wobbly butt whenever Diaz gets leverage on rights - Cam fitting it straight between the eyes or slicing it down hard on the left cheek, always following it up smartly with a saucy hook. Bell to bell swarming attack has Ryan in complete disarray - she's busted up and staring at the finish.

R9: Ryan shakes it off, gets back to the harsh business of jabbing Cameron's torso, backing HER down and looking to get off right hands at close range. Diaz doing a nice job reading the power shots, still leaning in close to crowd the right hand, then pivoting sharply left to slip it when it comes. Jeri the aggressor takes the points, but she needs to find Cameron's off switch as time runs down.

R10: Good brisk two-way midring as Diaz elects to time Jeri's jab and trade - both girls able to land stroking blows as Cameron head-hunts, Jeri answers right/left against the ribcage. Down the stretch, Cameron with that slicing right over Jeri's jab has Ryan momentarily staring - Diaz turns her hips into a digging hook to sternum, then hops in closer to get her body behind a jumping hook on the jaw - Ryan topples back on her heels, eyes wide with surprise. Cam with that bounding pursuit, able to hop and punch in synch, putting leather on Ryan's face, driving her ropeside - Jeri's HURT! Cameron going for it late, TEARING AWAY TO JUG with slashing side to side malice, leaning onto her right foot to get a raking hook across Jeri's stunned face, leaning onto the left foot to crack home the right - it's a rampage! JERI GOES DOWN! Ryan wilting under the slashing, meanspirited barrage, takes a knee to relieve pressure, blushing as Diaz squeals in delight at the knockdown. Jeri beats the count easy, but she's out of time - comes back UD10 Cam Diaz.

After: Cameron Diaz giddy as she celebrates in her corner, outboxing Jeri early, surviving Ryan's rally, then pouring it on to very nearly stop the hard hitting blonde late - it's one of Diaz' best career performances against a legitimate hard woman. Jeri's face beaten unrecognizable by the constant tattooing of Diaz' fists - Cameron very accurate tonight, getting to the stronger woman through sheer accumulation.
