Alessandra Ambrosio versus Odette Yustman

(Girls Friday vs Lioness Club of America)

Intro:

Two former champions lock horns tonight, Alessandra Ambrosio and Odette Yustman step into the ring against each other for the first time in their careers.

Alessandra is 38 years old; she stands 5'9 ½, holding a record of 38 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 10 defeats, she is the current BBU lightweight champion and a former FCBA lightweight champion.

Odette is 34 years old; she stands 5'8 ½, holding a record of 41 wins, 34 coming by way of knockout, 22 defeats with 1 draw, she is a former FCBA lightweight champion and a former Queen of the Ice Hotel.

These two were interviewed inside their gyms by the FCBA Networks Lucy Liu, first up she visited the Girls Friday gym to get a statement from Alessandria.

The Brazilian model was smiling as Lucy came in the break room of the gym, both women shake hands before they sit down to get to business.

"I have seen Odette a lot and honestly I was shocked when someone told me that I had never fought her, I have been in the ring with that many people that maybe my memory is going" says Alessandra with a cheeky wink.

She continues though more seriously "the thing is though now I know I haven't fought her, she is on my radar and she should ask around about what happens when you are in my sights, it doesn't end well for my opponents as they get knocked out cold"

Lucy asks lastly about Alessandra being in bad form with one win in four fights, the model laughs and replies "well you get in bad form, it happens and after I retained my BBU title last month, well I am not sweating it anymore, Odette is getting the full me"

Lucy then heads to the Lioness gym to find Odette getting her core worked on with a medicine ball by her coach Claudia Schiffer, when they finish Odette rubs her abs before asking Lucy "can't wait a minute till my abs feel better" grinning after she finishes.

Sitting up Odette tells Lucy "I have had Alessandra in my book of opponents I want for awhile, I guess things just haven't settled in the right place for it to happen till now" with a nod from Lucy.

"I know she hits hard but so can I! The advantage I have in my eyes is I am the better technician in the ring, if I can keep focused on the task then Alessandra is going to realise why she didn't jump at fighting me soon" finishes Odette.

Claudia tells Lucy before she goes "keep watch on Odette; if anyone is writing her off for a title challenge in future, well they'll look stupid when she bashes her way to that shot"

Fight night; out first is Alessandra with Lauren Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro beside her, Alessandra looks excited as she heads to the ring with the BBU lightweight title around her waist.

The model is wearing a black sports bra with a gold "AA" badge, black trunks with a gold waistband and stripes down the sides, black shoes and gold coloured gloves, her hair is tied back into a braid.

After getting her title taken off; Alessandra jogs up the steps and climbs through the ropes to a cheer, she gives the fans a quick shake of her hips, then gets down to serious business of warming up for the task at hand.

Odette now heads down the aisle with Claudia, she nods to her fans with a big smile on her face, looking confident as she jogs to the ring.

The actress is wearing a baby blue coloured sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves and her hair is tied into a fighting ponytail.

Getting into the ring Odette raises her fists to a cheer at the center of the ring, her eyes locked onto Alessandra's as she slowly steps back into her corner, warming up with Claudia drilling her.

The referee waves both women to the center of the ring, eyes locked as tension starts to fill the ring, no words are spoken as even the coaches lock eye.

When they are told to touch gloves; they do so with respect, turning back to their corners, once the referee is happy they signal for the bell to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:

Coming out their corners, they start off trading single punches as they circle, Odette landing a jab/straight combo to the face of her opponent before moving back to the outside.

The next attempt by Odette ends up with her taking a left across her face, Alessandra pushing back Odette with a follow up two more punches into her face.

Both women moving in close to work, letting their hands go as they attack the body, they both bark out with effort while they press in tight.

Nudging apart from each other; Alessandra catches Odette with a jab/right cross combo to turn the face of the American, forcing the actress behind her guard as she presses her towards the ropes.

Odette firing out jabs to try to keep Alessandra back, but gets caught with a left to her ribs, then a right lands across the cheek of Yustman to pin her back to the ropes.

The round comes to a close with Alessandra smiling as she sits on her stool, Odette annoyed as she returns to her corner, Claudia telling her to keep her cool and focus.

Round 2:

Trading jabs as they circle early on, Odette begins slipping more punches to get in close to work, landing to the body of Ambrosio to make her groan out.

Pushing back the actress; Alessandra manages to land two punches into mouth of Yustman, beginning to bash her backwards as she opens up.

But when she misses with a right hook, Odette counters with a left to the body, then an uppercut knocks back the head of the model.

Odette now drives back her opponent with two punches into the face, then a right to the jaw of Alessandra to knock her to the side.

Covering up along the ropes as Odette throws to the head, Alessandra is gritting her gumshield as she can't get out from her guard to fire back.

When the round ends Odette nods over at Claudia, who smiles as her fighter returns to the corner, both talking about what they need to do going forwards.

Round 3:

When they start trading; Odette slips a right cross to land two right hooks to the ribs, making Alessandra hiss out before Odette lands a left across her mouth.

Blood is running from the bottom lip of Alessandra, who is swinging wild shots in as her temper is boiling over, Odette is easily dodging before countering with her own hard shots to the body of the Brazilian.

With a left cross catching Alessandra across her mouth, making her cry out as she moves back, covering up as Odette steps in close to working the body when she isn't as successful up top.

A nudge to the face of Odette opens up space, Alessandra ducks a right cross to land an uppercut to knock back the actress, giving her an opening to press back Yustman with a double jab into the nose.

As seconds tick away in the round; they go toe to toe at the center of the ring, grunting out as sweat flies off them, till the bell rings to end the round with eyes locked.

Returning to their corners; Lauren tells Alessandra to calm down as Eva cools her down with a sponge, Alessandra nods as she thuds her gloves together before getting up for the next round.

Round 4:

Coming out their corners; they start off trading single punches, Alessandra pushes the pace with a left cross then a right to the ribs as she gets inside.

After nearly clashing heads as they work in close range, Odette manages to land a right to the ear of Ambrosio, then a left across her cheek as she begins to force her backwards.

Drilling Alessandra to the face with straight punches, more blood flows from the mouth of the Girls Friday fighter, making her cry out as she is pushed along the ropes.

As Yustman throws a left hook; Alessandra ducks down and uses her left shoulder to bump back her opponent, then lands an overhand right across the jaw to knock back the Lioness fighter.

Back comes Alessandra in the final thirty seconds of the round, throwing piston like body shots to make Odette groan out, forced into a corner by Ambrosio as Yustman has to cover up.

At the bell both women exchange a few words before turning to their corners, both get washed down as their faces are marked up, Alessandra getting blood washed off her lips.

Round 5:

Moving out to the center of the ring, Odette starts throwing more double jabs as she moves around her opponent, working more on the outside as she moves more side to side.

When Alessandra moves in close to work the body; Odette drags her into a headlock, the referee is quick to rush in to separate the two, warning Odette to keep things clean.

Alessandra is swinging again these wild hooks, being punished for her misses with punches smacking into her body, a right lands across her mouth to make Ambrosio retreat back.

The BBU champ is behind her guard as Odette goes to the body, digging several punches under the elbows of Alessandra to make her grimace.

Till a right smacks Odette behind her ear, making the American now take a step back, a right rifles itself into her nose, two hooks land afterwards to the cheeks of Yustman to smack her further back.

Soon the round comes to a close with both women shoving apart, they both seem to be enjoying getting cleaned up by their coaches, the Lioness corner looking the happier as the fight heads into its second half.

Round 6:

They both trade straight shots into the others cheeks to start; moving around their opponent, they are staring hard from behind their gloves.

Odette manages to duck down to get to the inside to land to the body, getting pulled into a front headlock though as tempers are rising, the referee pulls them apart with both exchanging words.

The next thing they exchange are hard punches as they come in close, fighting away in a phone booth style, Alessandra uses her left shoulder to bump back Odette, a right hook lands to the temple of Yustman.

Whose legs wobble! Alessandra hammers in two hooks that make Odette stumble, WHEN ODETTE TRIES TO CLINCH UP, ALESSANDRA LANDS AN UPPERCUT FLUSH THAT TAKES THE KNEES FROM ODETTE, WHO COLLAPSES TO ALL FOURS!

Stepping over to the neutral corner, Alessandra stares at Odette as the count begins, 1...2...3... Odette shakes her head as she looks up, 4...5...6.. She tries to push her way to her feet, 7...8.. But Odette stumbles back into the corner on her backside, 9...10 getting counted out!

Winner Alessandra Ambrosio KO Round 6

After:

It's Alessandra who wins the battle of former champions, she yells "come on!" At the top of her lungs, her supporters roaring their support as she pumps her right fist in the air.

While all Odette can do is stare across the ring at Alessandra, she rubs her jaw as she comes fully around from being dazed.

Claudia helping up Odette to her feet, acting as a crutch to help get her fighter back to her stool, where Odette gets washed down as her gloves are taken off.

Across the ring Alessandra gets her gloves taken off as Lauren praises her, Alessandra tells her "I am going to get my FCBA title back, this is just step one" with Eva patting her on her back.

Once both are ready; they head to the center of the ring, where Alessandra gets her hand raised to a cheer, Odette just looks up at the sky cursing herself for getting caught.

Though as she leaves the ring, Claudia tells Odette "it was one mistake tonight, don't beat yourself up so much after busting that cows lips, she won't be modeling for a few weeks" winking as she tries to cheer up her fighter.

Who smirks and nods as they head up the aisle, stopping to give the crowd a quick wave, then heads to the back to get to their locker room.

Alessandra meanwhile is posing for cameras with the BBU lightweight title on her shoulder, smirking as a chant for her rings out around the arena.

"I'm the f***ing best in this ring!" Yells Alessandra before she leaves the ring, Eva and Lauren walking behind her smiling as they chat about Alessandra's ambition.
