Blonde Ambition At The Asylum II: Electric Boogaloo

BEFORE:

"If I hadn't taken a break from the FCBA to start my family, I'd have been flyweight champion SEVERAL times by now," says the blonde with a smile. "I mean, Duff was champion and I kicked her a**! So, what chance do you think a second-tier girl like Levy has against me?"

"I like a girl who has confidence," says Jane with a smirk. "Too bad Kristin's is badly misplaced."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Bad Romance' by Lady Gaga you hear pounding through the arena, but, that's not Lady G herself on the way to the ring, but a big fan of hers, the lovely Kristin Cavallari!"

McCarthy: "And, you know, Cavallari might be right. This girl looked to have great promise to me when she was active last decade. And, fighting a Dancing Hooker is a PERFECT way to break back in in a BIG way!"

O'Dell: "Cavallari into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a sky blue number and a body that looks like it's been TRAINING for a decade. And, that's 'Pleasant Nightmare' you hear behind us, and here comes 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

Tess: "Jane 26-2 career, but she's still looking to secure her roster spot for next year."

McCarthy: "That's because Weirdo has ALWAYS been flavor of the month. It's why he only has one REAL fighter in the whole stable!"

O'Dell: "Jane into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that peach number she likes, and looking plenty good doing it. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Jane. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Cavallari actually HAS FCBA wins. Kristin!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel. We'll find out who's right. Cavallari right after Levy, stepping to and banging away. Kristin has always been an aggressive, physical fighter, and she's not changed her stripes. Levy firing right back and SHE ROCKS THE BLONDE WITH A LEFT HOOK..."

Tess: "Didn't land that clean, but it still had a ton of power behind it!"

O'Dell: "And, it wobbled Kristin! Cavallari covering up as Levy lets the hands go. Jane battering the blonde back into the ropes. Kristin in a high guard, jabbing back here and there as the redhead works her over to both head and body. Blonde tying up, trying to run some clock."

Cassie: "And, Jane wants to finish this RIGHT NOW..."

O'Dell: "Which is always a good idea, since we've seen how failing to do that can cost you later. Twenty seconds to go in this one. Jane WORKING over that body, then going back upstairs. Blonde hanging on desperately, trying to get to the bell...and she does it. End of the first. Levy. Wide."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Levy pressuring the blonde. Cavallari remaining on defense. Keeping the hands up, giving ground, tying up Levy. Jane shoving free and GETTING NAILED WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Oh, Cavallari landed a NASTY shot and Levy is HURT!"

Cassie: "Jane did well to stay on her feet..."

O'Dell: "But, she won't be there long if Kristin has her way. Blonde letting the hands go, pounding away at the wobbly redhead, driving her back into the ropes, and, in a complete 180, it's now Cavallari who's going to town looking to finish this thing early and Levy looking to run clock..."

McCarthy: "Give Cavallari credit. She's all in, but not getting sloppy."

O'Dell: "Not at the moment, anyway. Instead, she's setting up punches while she sits down on every thing. Levy in a high, tight guard, jabbing back here and there, doing just enough to keep the referee at bay. Blonde lands a SOLID right hand there. That shook Jane, but there's the bell. Great round for Cavallari."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Kristin on the attack. She's pressing forward on Levy. Redhead giving ground, banging back in spots. Effecting a fighting retreat, but, it's still a retreat. Blonde landing some HARD shot in there, but the redhead now taking it and firing right back..."

Tess: "Hammer and tongs, Jenny!"

O'Dell: "And, neither girl giving an inch now. Both winging heavy leather and both shipping the shell and continuing to respond. Crowd on its feet as Levy lands a BIG right and Cavallari lands a rejoinder that backs Jane up a step! Levy steps right back to, though and the trading continues..."

Cassie: "Not going to be able to keep this up for long..."

O'Dell: "Wouldn't think so, but nobody's willing to back down. Both ladies determined to impose will here, but nobody willing to be imposed UPON. Ten seconds to go. HUGE exchange sends sweat flying. Five seconds to go. One more BIG trade, and there's the bell. Close. Cavallari."

McCarthy: "And, Kristin leads 29-28 after three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Ladies back at one another to start the fourth, but, showing a bit more caution. The idea is still to bring the physical, but, there's more defense being played and more tactical stuff being shown on the offensive end. Levy working some body now, and Cavallari following suit."

Cassie: "Kristin showing something tonight. She can be plenty effective on these terms..."

O'Dell: "Certainly can. She's never been the kind of girl who's going to box you into submission, but she's always been a physical fly who can HIT, and she's demonstrating that she still is. GOOD right hand by Levy. Cavallari felt that one, but she fires back with a combination of her own."

McCarthy: "Tell you what. I'm starting to LIKE this kid. She won't back down from anything."

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds of the fourth. Cavallari and Levy banging body in the center of the ring. Good combination from the redhead forced the blonde to cover up. Kristin lands a nice right and Jane responds with another combination at the bell. Close round again, this time to Levy."

Tess: "And, we're even again, this time at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Back to work in the fifth, and the terms are pretty well set. Ladies working in the center of the ring, getting physical. They're banging some body in there as well as the upstairs work. And, nobody seems to be bothered by that body work, at least at the moment."

McCarthy: "Takes time to build up, but it will."

O'Dell: "Cavallari lands a nice right hand there, sends sweat flying. Levy a nice rejoinder, and Kristin goes to work downstairs in response. Blonde head down, working inside and LEVY NAILS HER WITH A RIGHT UPPERCUT! Kristin GOBSMACKED and DOWN SHE GOES!"

Tess: "What a right hook!"

O'Dell: "Cavallari on her back, eyes glazed, as Levy heads to a neutral corner. Referee counting down on the blonde. Three. Four. Five. Kristin trying to sit up. Six. Seven. Manages to do so. Looking up at the ref. Eight. Nine. Not going to happen. TEN! It's over. Kristin still seated in the middle of the ring as the count passes her by and your winner by KO5 is 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Jane Levy, and, Jane, it got VERY physical in there..."

Jane (nodding): "Knew it would. That's her game. But. It's MY game, too."

Tess: "Still not much clarity on next year's roster. Any thoughts?"

Jane: "Can't worry about it, honestly. Just go out and do your job, you know? Let the rest take care of itself."
