BEFORE:
"Look, I've heard what people have been saying,” Ginny starting the ball rolling with a sigh from the press table. “I know I’m the underdog going into this fight, and with Ashley herself on a four fight win-streak, beating girls like Lopilato and Michalka, people must be thinking that I'm serving myself up on a silver platter to her. Actually, f*ck that! Guess what? I'm here to win, and I don't care how fit or experienced Ashley is. I know this is going to be one hell of a fight, and Ashley may be the favorite, but don't say I didn't warn you when you see her knocked out on the mat. I'm only getting better and better. And I’ll prove it tonight.”

“Gee, such a FEISTY blonde!” Ashley trying to hide her amusement at the other end of the table, smirking in her white blouse and khaki slacks. “Let me straighten things for you, Ms. Gardner - I’ve beaten plenty of girls MUCH tougher than you in my 9 years of boxing. All that ‘smack’ talk you just spouted back there - it’s just a bunch of hot-air. We’ll see how loose your lips get once you’re eating my leather gloves. K?”

Tense affair as these two ladies come together for the official pose at the podium, with Ginny in her usual Dollhouse baby blue and white-striped tights, and Ashley swirling her long, dark hair over the shoulders, cocks a fist too close to Ginny’s face.

Fight night finally rolls around and Ginny enters first, spreading the backstage curtains as she raises both arms to wave to the crowds. Spritely young lady that she is, Ginny’s bouncing light on her toes in her usual fight gear of black and turquoise, too excited and very confident about backing her words up. Ashley, by all accounts the so-called ‘veteran’ tonight, is looking focused and steady in her black bikini and dark blue leather gloves, barely a smile on her face as she heads straight for the ring, her sturdy, fit body on full display for her fans in attendance tonight and the cheers the brunette is getting definitely give Ginny a good run for her money in terms of who is the crowd favorite here tonight.

Ladies perform final stretches in their respective corners, as the referee calls them to the center of the ring and spills the rules. Surprisingly, both girls touch gloves when they’re ordered to, perhaps some mutual respect deep inside for each other’s bravery and accomplishment thus far. HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Good opening round for Ginny, who’s really settling into her role as long-range striker. The newest kid on the block can’t exactly go toe-to-toe with the all-time power hitters, but what Ginny’s good at is frustrating her opponents senseless with jabs jammed in from afar, and she does exactly that here, landing hits on Ashley’s cheek each time her opponent tries an attack vector. Ashley taking the hits unexpectedly, especially a lady of her calibre - she looks wholly shocked when Ginny’s lightning strikes repeatedly tag her face. But Greene knows the only way to win here is to crowd Ginny’s space out, and do it fast. Late round scare for the Doll as a result, when Ashley managed to get in close for a rapid exchange flying in both directions. Ginny however not hurt too badly, scrambling for cover and then reestablishing her comfortable distance for the remainder of the round. Round 1 definitely should go to Gardner l for her excellent game plan.

ROUND 2:
Ginny with laser-eyed focus, her arms locked over her head as she watches for any kind of motion from Greene. Greene moving a little more cautious too, none of that wild blitzes forward, with her face still throbbing from earlier abuse. Ginny’s strategy however quickly showing its holes, as Greene slowly marches towards her, exchanging fast hands at the same time the Doll does. This spells bad news for Ginny as she finds herself getting out-punched at her own game. Left right left hands pepper Ashley’s arms, before the Odds and Ends starlet SMASHES a right hand of her own straight into the waiting guard, stunning Ginny briefly enough to eat another flurry to her face and body. Gardner grunting, scooting away - kinda the only thing the Doll knows how to do in this kind of situation - she’s left reevaluating her path forward after losing here by a small margin.

ROUND 3:
Ashley back to grinning expression from behind her guard, finally having found that secret sweet sauce that may prove to be Ginny’s undoing. Gardner still trying to move left and right at fast, furious angles, all the while shooting jabs towards Ashley’s head. But all Greene has to do is stay rooted, remain calm and absorb, before dishing back the punishment three-fold as she pressures Gardner forward. As a result, Gardner getting caught by another counter-attack, her head ringing when Greene powers a right cross into the arms, that also bangs stiff into the side of the head. Ginny rattled, left stumbling to the side a few steps, allowing Ashley to come in closer, batter the body with low hooks, then an uppercut ROCKS the Doll - but just barely - as Ginny swiftly brings her arms together to guard the vulnerable chin. PHEW for a second there. Ashley still chasing as Gardner retreats, but not finding a similar opportunity to knock her pretty foe’s head clean off its hinges for the rest of the round.

ROUND 4:
Ginny’s corner getting worried, shouting encouragement and advice from the corner even louder and louder. Ginny all out of options herself, her eyebrows knitted in uncertainty as she chooses to CHARGE! Whooboy is this gonna end badly for her! Greene looking surprised as well for a split second, before throwing caution to the window and starts SWINGING! But Ginny’s agility winning the day, swerving backwards to narrowly avoid a lunging hook from Greene, and then another SWISH almost snags the cheek, before the wiry blonde PLANTS a left-right combo straight on Greene’s face, shoving those hands into the nostrils and lips at breakneck speed, sending Greene grunting back! OUCH! Ginny didn’t have that knockout technique down, but BOY are those fast jabs hurting when they’re bunched together in close quarters! Ashley herself can’t pin her assailant down with attacks, powerless to stop the jabs from landing on her face either! End result: Green left covering up on the ropes, looking desperate, a small part of her completely amazed to be in this position as she withstands the sudden onslaught from none other than Ginny Gardner! Last few seconds of the round and Gardner has to jump back, avoiding another hook, with Ashley trying a little to rally at the expense of her foe’s waning energy reserves. Both girls exchange a few more jabs to the face in the remaining seconds, then get pulled apart by the referee, who sounds the bell.

ROUND 5:
Greene’s corner doing their best to counsel her in between rounds - no doubt they too got taken by surprise by Ginny’s offensive in the last, and the end result Greene’s loss. Something tells us that Ashley ain’t about to make the same mistake twice though! She’s all locked and loaded, springing up when the bell rings to start the fifth, but then, Gardner’s wave of assault doesn’t come. Instead, Ginny’s back to circling mode, peppering the bewildered brunette, who locks arms over her head and begins eating a torrent of punishment to the body and arms. Ginny switching it up again, running circles around Ashley and planting leather on her stationary form. Around minute two has Greene trying to bite back, but her big swings unable to catch Ginny, who’s still light on her toes and moving like a shadow. Ashley takes another one-two to the tummy, which bowls her over in pain, leaves her face completely exposed for a moment. POW! SLAP of leather to the cheek as Ginny jumps in and SWINGS BIG!! OUCH!! Ashley half-rotated on wobbled feet as the so-called veteran fighter goes crumbling down to the canvas!

The entire arena shocked as well, as Ginny scores the knockdown of her career! But wait, Ashley stunned but very much alive, trying her best to scramble towards the ropes in order to pull herself back up. Greene heard grunting loudly as she grabs hold of the middle rope, that head of hers swimming left to right as she struggles with basic motor skills. Referee hits the 10-count and the poor girl’s still struggling on her knees! IT’S ALL OVER!

Official Decision: Ginny Gardner defeats Ashley Green via KO5!

AFTER:
WILD celebration in the Dollhouse corner as Ginny erupts, a huge smile plastered upon her face as the blonde high fives her team one by one. Not many expected Gardner, the underdog, as she’d put it earlier, to walk away with such a victory tonight, and in such a convincing manner over the 9 year veteran!

Ashley sinking down to her knees, eyes shuttered close, chest heaving hard, letting the final result sink in in her own lonely corner of the world. Her winning streak broken, now made to eat her own words, she does her best to ignore the cheers reverberating throughout the arena on Ginny’s behalf.

"Honestly? I expected more from her..” Gardner tells Carmen in her corner, chuckling as she high-fives the Dollhouse CEO before confidently striding to the middle of the ring, striking a pose with one hand on her hip, the other raised high in victory, that cute smile of hers raising the noise levels in the arena to the max. Ashley getting completely ignored here as Ginny takes a few laps around the ring to thank the fans before jumping out, leaving the defeated brunette behind and not looking back.

Outside the ring, Gardner still grinning widely as she speaks to reporters on her way backstage.

“Look, I’m not gonna say it was a walk in the park or anything….but like I told Carmen, I expected more from Ashley. But I’m not complaining!” The blonde pauses for a second, still breathing hard. “Maybe I’m just becoming THAT good….That’s a possibility, right?!” Ginny giggles, turning her attention back to the fans, waving goodbye before disappearing behind the curtains followed by the Dollhouse entourage
