Madison Beer versus Halsey (Words & Results: Lookout!)
BEFORE: Halsey attracting the attention of Madison Beer after a recent appearance with Avril Lavigne at Halsey’s annual Halloween party and not in a good way. Madison’s enmity towards Avril is pretty well documented at this time and when she heard about this, she immediately sent a challenge to Halsey. Halsey, a good friend and ally of Avril, was all too happy to accept. Both of them coming into the match with clear goals as Halsey plans to hopefully remove this thorn in the side of her friend Avril and Madison eager to make it clear to Avril that anybody who aligns themselves with her is a target.
Halsey coming down to the ring in a black bikini and matching boy shorts - hair loose around her face and matching gloves. Madison coming down to the ring in a baby blue bikini top and matching shorts - brunette hair in a fighting ponytail and a microphone in one hand as she sings out:
Hey, hey, you, you, I don't like your best friend (That's right) No way, no way, I think you need a new one
Hey, hey, you, you, I could be your new friend.”
From the look on Halsey’s face, a friendship between her and Madison is very unlikely on this point as Madison is singing some modified lyrics to Avril’s hit song “Girlfriend.” That was the subject of the duet between the two pop stars and hearing them come from Beer is making Halsey glare even further. Madison tosses the microphone aside as she slides into the ring, getting on a pair of baby blue gloves on and just in time as Halsey charges her. The bell ringing as the match begins...
R1: Madison Beer shoots the best jab of her career in carving out a banging shutout. Left hand pounding away on Halsey - punch on the breast, punch on the breast, punch on the eye - Madison with her weight on that front foot, rocks back, steps around, then leans in again to continue to touch up her rival. Halsey stalking, then staring as Madison picks her apart - mesmerized by the brunette's sharp, precision stick.
R2: Halsey able to get her own jab working, getting close enough to hook body off it, but Beer won't be backed up. Digging hooks shoulder to shoulder - Madison gets the better of toe to toe exchanges and it's Halsey who starts to back down. By the final minute - Halsey looks uncomfortable in their, covering up, bending at the waist as Madison lets her hands go. Thudding body shots culminate in a clipping right uppercut to the mouth - Head-pop Halsey and she drops to one knee in shock as Beer turns and struts away all business.
R3: Halsey early, Madison giving ground, using the ring, and slowly turning the tables with her educated jab. Once she has Halsey covering up and tentative, Beer steps it up again, right hand at her chin to catch Halsey's jab, left hand low to hook hard into Halsey's creamy midsection. Halsey huffing and puffing from stern shots to her waistline, takes a seat at the ropes and soaks up a two fisted beating from Beer who pounds away uncontested for points to the bell.
R4: Halsey gambling, jumping in to reach up underneath Madison's arms and work out of the wrap close in. Halsey takes over with hard hold-and-hit - wrapping her left up around Madison's back while digging in rights, then wrapping up the right to scoop in the left. Beer ashen faced as the punishment adds up quick - she's hurt and wobbly butt at the ropes as Halsey continues to body up and work her over. At the bell, Madison visibly shaken, face pained as her mouth lolls on Halsey's shoulder - Halsey winded from the effort, but hopeful - she's got Madison right where she wants her.
R5: Beer has been coming forward all night - now she points her shoulder at Halsey, drops the left hand and slide-steps back, looking to counter. Halsey wades in, leaning into a spearing right cross - Madison rolls with it, comes back hard with an underhand right direct to the pit of the stomach and Halsey GOES DOWN! Halsey to all fours with a groan - Beer non-chalant turns and barks her kneecap against the pop star's forehead, sneaking it by the ref and leaving Halsey in open-mouthed, drowsy rage as the count tolls. Halsey up at 8, but swaying on the spot - she's hurt. On comes Madison - palming her right hand at Halsey's shoulder, then BITING in vicious hooks, body and jaw, body and jaw as the pop star sinks into the ropes. Halsey all but out, hands at her lips, grunting as she buckles forward from the gut-touch, then getting cranked upside the head and sinking backward. Savage power punching proves too much - Halsey finally spills to all fours once again, sitting back on her haunches and staring vacantly around the ring as Beer breaks into a big smile. Halsey deeply discouraged can’t get up - KO5 Madison Beer!
AFTER: Madison pumping a fist into the air as she shouts with excitement, ripping off her gloves as she beats a very tough opponent in Halsey. While it’s not quite the same as beating Avril, it definitely is a great feeling as she tosses her gloves into the air. Quickly, she demands a microphone and receives one as she sings out again, some more modified lyrics to Avril’s hit song:
In a second, you'll be wrapped around my finger 'Cause I can, 'cause I can do it better There's no other, so when's it gonna sink in?
She's so stupid, what the hell were you thinking?
Halsey clearly furious as she tries to get to her feet, but Madison coming forward as she goes to practically tackle Hasey back to the canvas. Holding onto the microphone as she straddles Halsey in her weakened state, going to slap at Halsey a few times with her free hand as she giggles, battering her towards her back as she purrs, “What the h*ll were you thinking, Halsey, picking Avril over me? We’re going to correct that mistake right now…” as she holds the microphone up close to Halsey’s face. Halsey trying to push it away as Madison keeps holding the microphone close as she slaps at her face and grins, “Answer the question - who is better? Me or Avril?”
Halsey insistent on Avril at first, but repeated slaps to the face and bounces of Beer’s butt across her tummy has her resistance fading until finally Halsey moans out in clear pain, frustration and anger, “You are better than Avril, okay?” Madison bellowing with clear enthusiasm, pumping her fist into the air as she tosses the microphone away and then snaps her fingers for some lipstick as she goes to write across Halsey’s tummy, “Beer’s B*tch” as she sticks out her tongue, “Welcome to the club and to Avril, nobody is freaking safe while I’m around. Enjoy your sh*tty tour but when you’re done, you can become part of my growing little club, because…”
Madison gets up to retrieve the microphone as she sings out: “'Cause you’re like so whatever And the league could do so much better I think we should get together now
And that’s what everyone’s talking about.”
If they weren’t talking about it before, they certainly are now as the rivalry between Madison and Avril is only escalating since that loss to Lavigne in Beer’s debut. Madison feels that they should ‘get together now’ and Lavigne will be hard pressed to continue ignoring Beer for much longer. At least that’s what Madison hopes as she saunters out of the arena, high fiving her fans as she celebrates a big win here tonight and before she goes, she sticks out her tongue and says: “And Avril, I sang that MUCH better than Halsey or you ever could!”
