Brunette Ambition At The Asylum II: Electric Boogaloo

The Man In The Hat sits, as usual, at the center of the dais. To his left are Chloe Bennet, Ariel Winter, Gemma Arterton, Britney Spears, Neve Campbell, Pink, Grace Park, and Alison Brie. To his right sit Katy Perry, Charlotte McKinney, Taylor Hill, Jewel, Mariska Hargitay, Leelee Sobieski, Kesha, and Emily Osment.

Man In The Hat: "OK. As usual, before we get to questions, there are some people I want to thank. Let's start, obviously, with each and every one of our indy fighters, who are the backbone of Asylum. Without them, what we do every month wouldn't happen. And, of course, we can't forget the FCBA Commission for sanctioning these fights and making Asylum possible. Now. Questions. Cable Boy. Go!"

HBO Reporter: "I want to start with Katy again. She was in there with a good fighter tonight. She came out with a win. From what you've said, she still hasn't solidified her spot here. But, I'm sure, if you released her, there would be plenty of takers..."

Man In The Hat: "But. That's not how we make decisions here. We make decisions based on what's best for FRONT STREET, not what some other stable might do. We knew very well that Decker would probably get signed when we released her. And, we're pleased that she did and that she got a chance to continue her career in another stable. This isn't about someone else, it's about US and what WE need to do. As for Katy, this was a very good performance. As was last month's, obviously. Cable Boy II. Go!"

Showtime Reporter: "I want to talk some other lightweights, Arterton and Hill. Gems is coming back next year. Taylor looked good tonight..."

Man In The Hat: "Gems is a champion. Period. You saw why tonight. As I said last month, Taylor has a TON of talent. There was a lot to like tonight. We'll watch that video and see more to like, I'm sure. There are some decisions to be made around here. No doubt about that. But, Taylor's work tonight was excellent. Tess, dear, go ahead."

Tess: "Ariel and Chloe will be on the roster next year, and they both came out with wins..."

Man In The Hat (nodding): "Ariel did exactly what we hoped she would. That's a good fighter she was in against, and she found answers. This is what it's going to be about for her going forward. Everyone knows what she can do physically. The question will be how she handles the ways girls try to counter that. Tonight, she did it very, very well. As for Chloe, well. She had a fight on her hands. As one would expect with Munn. But. She handled that. She fought very well. And she fought very smart. It was an excellent performance. Very pleased with Chloe. As I always am. Smackeroo. Dinner time. Take us there!"

Reporter: "Let's talk about McKinney. That was a heck of a fight, and you had to be impressed with her..."

Man In The Hat: "I think it was an EXCELLENT fight. Both girls showed a ton of power and ability to take a punch. I think Charlotte did well to find a way to get a result. I was impressed with Ratchford. Here's a girl comin' in a heavy dog, unmanaged, on the road, and she fights like she fought tonight? Ought to open some eyes. It opened mine. Now. Dinner time. Tess!
