Emily smiles at this: “I don’t doubt for a minute that Sasha THINKS she is tougher than me, but she will forgive me if I don’t agree. I have been a bit rusty I my recent fights, but I have been training hard at Medallion. I am ready to start winning regularly and Sasha is just the opponent to start. I am really looking forward to this.”
“So am I,” Sasha said with a challenging tone in her voice.

THE WINNER: EMILY BETT RICKARDS DEFEATS SASHA PIETERSE KO6!
After:
“That felt amazing!” Emily declares in the ring as she slapped on the back on teammates Caity Lotz and Shelley Hennig. “Sasha’s not that easy to take down, but I knew if I could just get enough power into her chin I could take her down! I feel I am finally on the right road!”
Sasha Pieterse is revived and helped from the ring, she later comments: “I was really disappointed in myself. I think I was doing a good job against Emily, but I got careless and she drove that blockbuster through it and suddenly it was over! I shouldn’t have let that happen, but you can’t dwell on your losses too long. I need to focus on winning my next fight.”
Pretty even contest with Emily Bett Rickards and Sasha Pieterse both having some good rounds. Unfortunately for Sasha, it was Emily who had the good round that won her the fight with an impressive KO in R6. It has taken a while but Emily looks to turned things around and hopefully this victory will lead to more in the new year. It was a painful loss for Sasha, but she has a way of bouncing back after a reverse and her fans are hopeful this will happen again as 2020 progresses.
