(Free Agent vs Beever's Babe's)

Intro:
The opening bout of tonights New Faces card sees model Neelam Gill take on radio DJ and television presenter Maya Jama in Monte Carlo with this being both fighters debut.
Neelam is 22 years old, she stands 5'10 and she is from Coventry, she is a fashion model and has walked on London's famous fashion week catwalk.
Maya is 23 years old; she stands 5'8 and she is from Bristol, she is presents gameshow Cannonball and is known for dating Stormzy.

Both women squared up at the press event, with them shaking hands before they head to their tables to speak to the press.
Neelam going first by saying "this is certainly going to be an interesting experience, I have been doing boxing training for a while to keep in shape, but to actually fight, that wasn't something I ever thought of doing till I was offered this chance, why not try it?"
She looks at Maya and says "Maya seems a nice person to be around, though I know she won't be of course in the ring, I think the biggest thing I need to worry about is that she looks to pack a punch, so this should be fun" smiling as she finishes her statement.
Maya begins her own speech by saying "Why did I decide to join the BBU? As much as I love my man Stormzy, I want to be recognized for my own talents and hopefully showing that I am more then just a pretty face"
Turning to Neelam, she adds "I guess the experience is in your favour, it won't really help you though when I start piling the pressure on you, let's see how well you do under fire"
Neelam just grins at that, almost saying "we'll see" as the girls start up and give each other a quick nod before heading off stage.

Fight night; out comes Neelam first with her coach by her side, she is wearing a black sports bra, with tight black yoga pants with matching coloured gloves.
Stepping into the ring; Neelam has a big smile after taking a deep breath, looking excited to fight as she jogs to her corner, giving the fans a quick wave before warming up for the fight.
Now out comes Maya with her coach by her side; she is wearing a red sports bra, matching tight yoga pants that show her firm booty off and matching gloves.
After climbing into the ring; she bows to the crowd before heading to her corner, warming up with a smile on her face as the girls lock eyes across the ring.
Jogging to the ring centre at the order of the referee, there is a light atmosphere in the ring between the two women as they look each other up and down with smiles on their faces.
Asked to touch gloves; they respectfully touch them up and jog to their corners, ready to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters as they test each other out with their jabs; Neelam using her extra reach to land the cleaner punches early on as they circle.
Maya tries to swing harder punches aimed at the head of Neelam, who shows her flexibility to easily dodge those punches.
Neelam controlling the early action as she shows off her classic boxing style; fighting from behind her jab compared to Maya's more power orientated style as she swings at the body of her opponent.
The smaller fighter needing to tighten her guard as Neelam starts teeing off on her face with jabs and then two punches at a time as she circles on the outside.
Maya finally gets her punches to land as she parries a straight and steps inside to work the body of Gill to back her up.
Neelam needing to step back and catches her opponent to the top of her head to force her back, it isn't long though till Maya slips inside again.
The girls trading in tight as Maya finally enforces her style on her opponent, driving Neelam back with a left to the ribs and an overhand right.
The round ends with both nodding at each other, Maya knowing that she is going to have to think and not just try to shove her way to win this fight if this opening round is anything to go by.
Round 2:
Back out come the fighters; with Maya stalking forwards behind her own jab, Neelam though is boxing happily off the back foot.
The Coventry lass controls the pace of the fight as she continues to catch Maya to the top of her head, using impressive footwork to get around Maya.
But Maya manages to deflect a right aimed at her head and steps inside to work the body of Neelam, with the model trying to step back but Maya keeping in tight to bully her towards the ropes.
The fighters go toe to toe with Neelam looking for the first time in the fight in trouble; Maya banging away at her ribs to make her groan out.
Clinching up; Neelam looking to the referee to break them up shows she looks worried about these inside exchanges it seems, with the referee stepping between them.
Once separated; Neelam doubles up her jab, pinning Maya behind her guard as the Bristol lass is looking to get back in tight.
Maya dipping down to try and get inside, Neelam though showing off pinpoint accuracy to catch her opponent to the top of her head with her punches.
The round comes to a close with Neelam looking a bit more weary of Maya after feeling her power, but her coach is happy enough with the way the fight is going so far, just telling her to maybe up the tempo to hurt her opponent.
Round 3:
Again Neelam starts the faster of the two as she works on the outside, Maya needing to keep her guard tight as Neelam is throwing more punches in bunches now.
The model manages to land two body shots to Maya, but she doesn't move back in to dodge a right that catches her across the cheek.
Maya stays in close; leading to both trading clean punches to the others face as Neelam tries to retreat back to work in space.
A missed right by Neelam allows Maya to knock her back onto her heels with an overhand left and a right across her cheek.
Neelam forced behind her guard as Maya backs her up, looking to work the body again as clearly she thinks that is her opponent's weak spot, Neelam groaning out each time she is hit.
The model nudges Maya back with her left to her face and lands a right to the side of head to create some separation as she moves into space.
The crowd getting behind the fighters as they circle and trade punches, Neelam looking happy again till her opponent parries a straight and lands a right across the chin to knock her back.
With the bell ringing to end the round, the fighters jog back to their corners with marks forming on both fighters faces.
Maya smiling as her coach tells her "much better babe; you can't let her get too far away from you" as Maya nods and feels like she finally has a foothold in this fight.
While Neelam looks a little annoyed at herself, her coach telling her "don't get down off one bad round, you can get her back onto the front foot and punish her pretty face"
Round 4:
Maya looking more confident; moving her head more as she comes on the front foot, forcing Neelam to fight at midrange.
They land to the others bodies and faces as they move around the ring; Neelam fighting off the back foot still as she tries to keep the distance safe for herself.
A missed right by Maya as Neelam side steps her and counters with a left cross to the nose of Maya and follows up with two more punches to the face of the presenter.
Suddenly Maya is on the back foot as Neelam starts throwing more combos now, landing to the gloves of her opponent, before adding more body punches to open up Jama.
Maya stuck on the defensive as Neelam pressures her onto the ropes, some in the crowd looking stunned as Neelam works the body, banging away at it and being rewarded by groans from her opponent.
Till Maya catches Neelam with a right hook out of her guard, beginning to fight back as the round is coming to a close.
Neelam getting her head down as she tries to keep Maya on the ropes, Maya clinching up with her and the girls grapple on the ropes till the referee splits them up.
The round soon ends after a brief exchange need the ring centre, with both women looking each other over as they pass each other.
Maya's corner team working on cleaning her up, she looks frustrated as she bangs her gloves together, admitting to her coach "this was harder then I thought" smiling as she tries to get into a good mood.
Neelam looking happy as she sits on her stool, looking over at Maya; she sees the marks on the face on her opponent, making her feel more confidence as she steps back up for the next round.
Round 5:
Neelam keeps Maya behind her guard early with straight punches, starting to get on the front foot again to try and pressure her opponent back onto the ropes.
Maya though waits for her chance and dips under a right hook and lands a piercing shot to the body of the model to force her back.
The fighters trade punches in the ring centre; with Neelam landing two straight punches to the face of Maya to back her up a step.
As Neelam looks to step forwards with a left cross; Maya dips under and lands an overhand right that lands on the chin of Neelam with enough force to turn her head.
NEELAM LOOKS STUNNED AS HER GLOVES GO DOWN, MAYA WHACKS HER WITH A VICIOUS OVERHAND RIGHT TO KNOCK NEELAM ONTO HER BACK!
The referee begins his count as Neelam's eyes look glassy 1...2...3...4 Neelam looks like she is trying to sit up but she looks badly rocked 5...6...7 till she lays back down flat and shuts her eyes 8...9...10 Neelam is counted out!

Winner Maya Jama KO Round 5

After:
What a way to make a statement! While Maya seemed stuck behind the 8 ball through that fight, she proved that she has knockout power as Neelam simply lays back defeated.
Maya raises her arms as she takes in a loud cheer from the fans; before she jogs over to her corner to get her gloves taken off and her face washed down.
Soon Neelam is helped to sit up and take a moment to breath to clear her head, Maya comes over to check on her soon enough as the girls chat away like old friends, amazing considering they were beating each other up moments before.
Maya helps Neelam up as they smile at each other; Neelam looking a little shook up as she stands but nods at Maya and tells her "that's some punch you have" as Maya replies "well you are hard to hit, I thought I was going to tire out before I got the knockout"
Both smile as they leave the ring together; Maya helping Neelam walk up the ramp as they chat about their plans for the night.
Pundits saying how interesting both are, Neelam has a great technical base to build from but needs to work on her strength to be a danger in the division.
while Maya has the power but needs to work on her technique, she seems to be all power punching for the moment and needs to learn to use her jab more.
So it will be interesting to see how both fighters careers grow from this point on, but one thing is sure for Maya as her new bosses at the Beever's Babes watch on in the VIP section, they have gotten a fighter to watch out for.
