Sandy Moelling vs Katya Jones

BEFORE: Sandy Moelling was curiously ommitted from last week's BBU German Boxing Night line-up but she's back into the Black Eagles spotlight tonight with coach Gina Wild predicting an easy victory over Strictly Come Dancing's stalwart Katya Jones. "I never lost my faith in Sandy", she tells BBU TV's Charlie Webster, "It's just Mandy who looks so fired up I just had to delay some match-ups but it's all worth it! Katya made a lot of buzz back in the UK but she's gonna get wrecked here on our turf!"

The problem is, the Russian-born dancer has other ideas and points to the long-standing beef between the two nations that should fuel her epic upset of the German odds: "Look, I know what I'm doing here! Sandy is no Mollie King and I'll f### her up tonight! Just sit back and enjoy!"

Sandy Moelling wears a white bikini top, black hotpants and red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Katya Jones wears a violet basque top, black knickers and silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Sandy feels the pressure to perform as Collien Fernandes threatens to run away with the stable flyweight cherries but she meets a stubborn response from Katya who doesn't waste a second and slides into a steady jabbing drive that disrupts the blonde's rhythm. Both women give each other no quarter in the early stages but Katya's more effective in her punching and forces the blonde to cover up behind a high earmuff once she stacks up her efforts against her cheeks. There's more coming from the plucky brunette in the second half of the round as she switches downstairs to punish the singer's ribs and reels her onto the ropes to silence the Cologne audience and give Gina Wild plenty to think about as well.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Moelling's feisty assault gets blocked off and Jones uses the slightly longer reach and a superior footwork to keep her hidden behind a high earmuff once the pro dancer finds her rhythm. The high-octane offense neutralizes the blonde's plans very quickly indeed and when she misses several counter-punching shots, she drifts onto the ropes in a spooked retreat which further dents the crowd's hopes for a swift recovery. This also fuels Katya's pursuit; the supreme mobility allows the Russian native to sling through from both flanks and pin Moelling into the turnbuckle come the final minute. She splits the singer's mitts repeatedly once she has her trapped and rocks the blonde ponytail back & forth when the guard crumbles to run away with a mighty performance here in the second!

Round 3:
Gina Wild has had enough of this already and sends Sandy into a proper flyweight bash but Katya beats her for the opening drive and hauls in a wicked cross hook on the nose that wobbles the singer with a loud whimper. Another brutal hook finds the temple moments later AND DOWN GOES THE BLONDE!!! Ugh! The crowd begins to jeer at this Russian whitewash in the making and Moelling herself is stunned to say the very least. She takes the standard eight count but looks utterly shocked and suddenly Jones just wades in for more juice and hammers her back to the ropes where the blonde tails off into a desperate earmuff but still gets worked over into a stupor and only the bell saves her from a looming demise. Katya rips few hard shots on the breadbasket in the proccess and leaves the older girl crippled with Gina Wild fuming in the Eagles corner!

Round 4:
Sandy moaned her struggles out during the break and she doesn't have the legs to match the dancer's intensity which leads into a swift disaster early in the fourth. Katya runs rampage through the leaky guard and stuns the vulnerable singer with a hooking rally upstairs that glues the victim to her spot. A wild hook bursts Moelling's lips into jelly before a zipping hook on the liver PUTS HER DOWN in lightning-quick fashion!!! This is painful to watch for the Cologne audience and Sandy duly gives up the fight after getting whitewashed by an extremely impressive opponent. KO4 Katya Jones!!!

AFTER: Whoa! Katya simply drop-kicked Sandy into punchbag status and she rubs it to the Lanxess Arena audience with some obscene gestures before referee tells her to get lost. Gina Wild is the first one who wants to claw her eyes out but almost stumbles over the fallen Moelling as she charges at the dancer and order is restored when the medics signal that Sandy needs to be carried away into a safer spot. However Charlie Webster thinks the German pride suffered the biggest damage here and that Collien Fernandes is now the clear Eagles flyweight leader even though Lioness Club's Mandy Capristo remains the nation's top divisional prospect around the league.

Final result: Katya Jones def. Sandy Moelling KO4.
