BEFORE: Alicia Medina blamed the recent epic failure vs Georgia Salpa on food poisoning but is determined to prove she can actually make a career in the female celebrity boxing business hence tonight's clash against former Miss Universe GB Amy Willerton suddenly looms a little larger than even BBU TV's Anna Woolhouse had anticipated. Amy has signed a multi-year deal with the Beever's Babes last month and vows to finally break through as a serious divisional contender with the help of BBU coaching legend Denise Lewis.

Amy finds the new cocky attitude very suitable as she refeuses to touch gloves with her opponent and prompts Ms Woolhouse to claim she's inhaled some of that Beevers' magic already alas Medina isn't much impressed and both women have to be given a longer lecture by the ring official than usual.

Alicia Medina wears a red bikini set and black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Amy Willerton wears a pink bikini set and silver gloves. Long blonde hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Amy wants to impress her new employers from the word go and tucks some promising half-uppercuts into the brunette's body as Alicia looks a little sluggish on her feet and fails to avoid the early rush. She gets whipped on her heels as Amy works the high-octane drill to dominate the early going. The Cardiff Arena roars in delight when the Spanish model begins to wince while Amy moves upstairs to pick off her guard from point-blank range. Coach Lewis simply nods her head in approval as Willerton drives the hapless foe back to the corner where she unloads more body assault and leaves Medina yelping in pain come the bell.

Round 2:
Amy's up early for the second round and connects with the early punches again however Alicia responds with some scattered overhands that expose the blonde's high guard as well. Willerton's been guilty of some leaky defense before and that's one problem that even Denise Lewis hasn't cured on such short notice; Medina steps it up to outwork the former pageant winner and blasts her with a wicked shot on the left temple that sends Willerton reeling onto the ropes and she doesn't have the legs to avoid a proper follow up that nails her on the mouth and whips sideways against the turnbuckle. It's desperate earmuff time for the British lass who still eats a steady Spanish gallop up the middle and Alicia has to be shoved away by the ref at the bell with the Cardiff audience losing it's temper here!

Round 3:
Coach Lewis gives her new toy a right ole earful during the interval but Medina just keeps on coming at her having found some new confidence herself. Both girls engage in a spirited but otherwise lacklustre dispute in the center of the ring that only gets resolved when Amy misfires over the brunette's shoulder and wobbles into a belter of a shot on the boobs. Ugh! She yelps in pain but is too slow to react as the Spanish model WHACKS her over the top again and bursts her lips into a swollen mess. Uh-oh! The punches suddenly stack up against the blonde's wilting guard and she sinks on jelly knees as Medina finds a drilling hook on the temple to send her opponent into shimmy-shake mode... Willerton's gloves drop by her waist and she gets WRENCHED ONTO THE CANVAS with a powerful right hook on the ear... Amy collapses in a heap and takes her time in recovery... Alicia bunny hops in the neutral corner and issues a Spanish tirade when the former pageant winner gets up at eight. She lashes out at her moments later but fails to catch her with another bullseye and gets dragged into a desperate clinching struggle that allows the Brit to survive a difficult period. But coach Lewis is furious over in the Beevers' corner!

Round 4:
Alicia stalks her prey in mid-distance but finds the single punches well into her liking and leaves Amy tripping over her feet in a hectic retreat. She connects with a couple of combos but lacks the big punch even though her rival basically defaults the action and looks spooked rather than annoyed by the previous round collapse. That's not the Beevers' way at all and only Medina's inexperience keeps the stable's hopes alive here during the Spanish prowl. Amy finally enagages in a brief jabbing rally but sinks on the ropes again when Alicia outworks her straight up and adds more visible damage to those swollen lips. Ugh! Another clinch allows the blonde to survive but now she eats quick shots to the body as well and looks out of her depth at the bell.

Round 5:
Medina dances her way into another jabbing assault and this time closes the blonde in the center of the ring before firing over the top to rattle her opponent and fuel the crowd's response. Ugh! Willerton refuses to buckle though and catches the brunette on the solar plexus with a quick drill before finding some space below the elbows and blasting a harpoon that bends the hitherto dominant model forward. Alicia struggles to stretch her elbows and gets thumped on her heels with a classic jug-to-jug contact before a wild hook NAILS her on the jaw and triggers a proper Willerton comeback. The former pageant winner finally connects with a hooking combo upstairs but eventually settles between the Spanish jugs and pierces the solar plexus to cripple her foe on the ropes come the final minute. She lands more promising shots on the breadbasket and has Alicia spitting out more verbal abuse at the bell with both girls ready to lock horns regardless of the referee's efforts to separate them.

Round 6:
Alicia fires away first but skims off the blonde's shoulder and EATS a wild hook on the right temple followed by a quick pounce on the jaw next... She tries to smack one from the back foot but Amy beats her for pace and LIFTS HER OFF THE CANVAS with a brutal left hook that DROPS THE SPANISH MODEL FLAT ON HER BACK moments later! Whoa! Shades of some welterweight power right there from Amy who leaps in the air in delight but still has the count to deal with first. And Alicia's unwilling to head for the exit door as she scampers back onto her feet at seven... However she looks HURT and can barely respond the call as the plucky Brit bulldozes through her high guard and whacks her apart from both flanks thereafter. She pummels her to the ropes where Alicia gets wrapped in more aerial assault and simply crumbles underneath it... There's no easy way out from this mayhem here in Cardiff and Willerton pounds her lights out in supreme fashion that has Denise Lewis leading the applause... even Anna Woolhouse has lost count of how many punches smash into Alicia's pretty face but the girl is knocked out on her feet and eventually SLIDES DOWN IN DEADMEAT FASHION that finally brings this "In Private" bout to a close. KO6 Amy Willerton!!!

AFTER: Welcome to the Beevers gang, hun! Amy jumps in the air and actually gives the ref a hug before getting wrapped in equally tight embrace by coach Lewis: "Don't scare me like that next time!" Indeed, Amy looked good in round one but then allowed the Spanish free agent to take over and almost blow her away to really spoil the introduction party. Amy winks back to several journalists and fans as she leaves the ring and with bantam convert Lisa Maffia sitting as the only other lightweight on the Beevers roster, she's destined to make a really nice push towards the divisional elite accordingt to BBU TV. However she needs to improve that defense or else big hitters like Elisabetta Gregoraci or Belen Rodriguez will trample her to all the way back to Bristol.
