Results: Vassago, Story: Caspian
BEFORE: Mathilde Gohler still furious over the Skriver Danish derby result where she lost in controversial fashion, and that's bad news for the rookie tonight. Robin Holzken appearing recently as well on the VIXENs’ SI rookie card, where she fell in disappointing fashion as well to Chase Carter. Both girls need a win here to keep the fire going.
“I saw Holzken’s fight against Chase a few months ago. It was sloppy,” Mathilde emphasises with a thumbs down. “I yawned almost the whole way. If she couldn't put away someone like Chase, how do you think she’s gonna fare against someone like me?”
Gohler exuding confidence as she lounges in her seat at the press conference, shades on and feet up, already ready to fight in her white undies. Robin the underdog in this match-up for sure, but if the previous fight tonight was any indication, the underdog may just be able to bite back hard.
“I’ll tell you how I’m gonna fare. I’m gonna beat your candy-ass so hard, you’re gonna beg me to stop. I’ve heard enough of your useless words, Gohler. Let’s just get this started,” Robin almost shouting back into the microphone from across the table, drawing audible oohs and ahas from the audience. Even Mathilde sits up with a shocked expression, glaring hard at her new nemesis’ bold confidence.
The girls meet at center podium and the tension kicks up a notch immediately, as both girls come nose-to-nose and still taunting each other relentlessly. Suddenly, Gohler says something Holzken doesn’t like, and the Dutch native LUNGES with her fists aimed at her long hair! Shrieks from lips as both ladies go at it, tugging and pulling at the other’s tresses, whilst the ring officials do their best to separate them.
Finally, they’re led to the ring, where they make their final preparations. Mathilde in white bra and panties, as mentioned, with black gloves. Robin in a pink bikini, black gloves as well. Here we go with ten rounds of Welterweight action!
ROUND 1: Fast start as expected from two girls that willing to rip each other’s heads off. They CLASH in the center with an epic sound of battle, made even louder by the roar of the fans. The only difference is one girl scores and the other girl goes down in flames: Robin pulling that right arm back early, intending to STUN Gohler with an opening hand straight to the face, but the veteran fighter blocks and deflects the punch adeptly as it comes in… Robin rattled just like that, her attack only hurting the forearms… but what comes next is worse: Mathilde SWIVELLING her head clean to the right, with a counter-hook up into the side of her face! OUCH. Robin spinning halfway about on her toes as it connects, immediately goes flying into the ropes from the impact! Gohler not letting up - it’s still the first minute after all! Holzken absorbing blows to her belly left right left right, then getting wrecked on top with more hooks crashing into her guard. Mathilde just going ALL OUT and not letting the rookie breathe in this opening round! Robin not looking too good from the very start, some moments of respite when she clinches up, holding Gohler close and breathing into her shoulder. Gohler growling and snapping into the ear, still swiping at tummy below. End of the round and both girls’ bodies are already coated in sweat. Referee forces the separation and Mathilde roughly shoves Robin away with two hands to her shoulders, cursing into her face for not being good enough to go down in the first round. Robin however looks almost completely out of it, body hunched over and panting hard.
ROUND 2: Promising start to the next round as Robin is a little less reckless, coming forward and dancing between both her feet, trying to fight defensively for once. Well, it’s certainly a change for one girl, but no change for the other. Because here comes Gohler regardless, semi-chuckling at her opponent’s attempts at being defensive. She scores with a quick one-two hands straight into Robin’s belly, doubling her over with a shocked grunt, before another hook to the face WOBBLES the poor rookie again. Holzken’s guard now all over the place as she’s confused as to whether to protect her face or body - she can’t possibly defend herself against a last uppercut that Mathilde swings upwards fast - it CRUMPLES into her chin AND DOWN SHE F*CKING GOES!! Christ almighty - Gohler with a first minute KNOCKDOWN in the second round! Danish beauty already raising both her hands into the air as she parades herself back to corner. She beats her chest, shouting “I TOLD YOU SO.”
Referee beginning the count, but Holzken’s barely stirring, making a valiant attempt to crawl to the ropes but her body not cooperating. She’s barely on her knees when the referee hits the 10-count. It’s over folks!
Official Decision: Mathilde Gohler defeats Robin Holzken via KO2 in spectacular fashion!
AFTER: One Siren’s walking away with the win here tonight, that’s for sure. Whilst Pia had a disaster of a night, the same can’t be said for Mathilde Gohler, who looks like she’s back on the rise with an impressive win.
“It’s what I’ve been saying all this while - I deserve better, and I’m gonna be get what I deserve,” Gohler confidently stating to reporters later.
Robin now coming off a consecutive loss - not a promising start to anybody’s career. She’s carted off quickly by her team backstage to avoid the cameras and potential embarrassment. Poor girl - hopefully we’ll see her soon in the ring!
Hang on - what’s this? The crowd roaring as another newcomer enters the ring: a certain Mathilde Tantot mounting the steps, her white crop top and black leather pants suggesting however that she’s not here as the next main event. No - instead, the French beauty grabbing a microphone from the ring official:
“What a *beautiful* fight,” she says sarcastically, in a thick French accent. “It’s always fun seeing another Mathilde get rid of the trash. One day, Gohler, we’ll be certain to dance. But for now, I’m calling out Robin to go one-on-one with me It’s time for me to take out the trash as well!”
Tantot finishing with a drop of the mic, before sauntering out of the ring to cheers and hoots. The crowd’s certainly excited to see this potential matchup in the future. And it’s certainly a bold statement from the Frenchwoman, though some of us still remember the fact that she didn’t fare particularly well against Diana Korkunova the last time. Whatever happens, we can’t wait!
