Melissa Debling vs Catalina Otalvaro

BEFORE: Carla Ossa has made a successful breakthrough into BBU action over the past several months but it's time for a Colombian double punch as glamour model Catalina Otalvaro joins the fray to add the always exciting Latin spice to the ruthless female celebrity boxing dinner table. Her goal is to dominate the flyweight division and rise into a future JMD stardom as well, the lithe model stands at 5'6" tall but only brings 105 lbs to the scale so her superior reach might yet cause significant trouble to girls few inches smaller than her.

However her first opponent is one of the tallest flyweights around, Melissa Debling who scored some impressive wins as late as 2015 before a tough loss to Chloe Ferry last season set her back. She shows the Colombian newcomer zero respect but has agreed to standard rules instead of JMD which is backed by BBU TV announcer Anna Woolhouse. Melissa learned a hard lesson against Ferry and while we can't expect her to underestimate another rookie, Catalina's lack of experience leaves everyone scratching their heads if she's the real deal or not. Her 36D rack most certainly is and Melissa jokingly tells Anna she's gonna give "that Latin slut" a JMD rematch once she knocks all of her teeth out tonight. So much for taking the rookie seriously then?

Melissa Debling wears a pink bikini set with black trim and black gloves. Long blonde hair loose & straight. Catalina Otalvaro wears a brown bikini set with silver trim and orange gloves. Long light brown hair straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division though Debling carries four pounds over the limit!

Round 1:
This is indeed a standard rules bout - per TIG manager Melinda Messenger's request - but apparently the joyful pre-fight mood still affects Melissa Debling too much; she keeps her gloves glued to her rack but eats immediate hooking assault as Catalina wastes no time whatsoever in delivering the Latin heat! She rocks the fellow blonde's head back and just bends her to her heels while smacking her from both flanks! Ugh! What is going on here? Debling fails to recover her footing and gets pounded back to the ropes where Otalvaro fends off her counters and slams more vicious hooks that spin the blonde hair all over the place! The Colombian stunner then clips the rack to ignite some really bad temper but she simply keeps plugging away here at a shocked opponent and Debling sinks on shaky knees come the two minute mark already! She groans her heart out but just can't shake the fellow blonde off and soaks up more bulldozing pressure up the middle that punishes her rack before a late uppercut combo literally spins her back to Melinda Messenger at the bell.

Round 2:
The TIG entourage remains stunned by that opening round but Otalvaro quickly resumes the Latin pressure and picks the slow moving Brit off in close range. She splits Melissa's gloves at will and knocks her back to the ropes where she lifts the rack again to bury the fellow blonde into loud spasms! A couple of harpoons find the soft tissue downstairs before a scything cross on the jaw LAYS DEBLING OUT ON THE CANVAS!!! The hits just keep on coming for Melinda Messenger who's the loudest person in York Hall now and she just about urges her girl to beat the count at seven. However Melissa remains rattled here and she quickly gets swamped by another Colombian wave of hard blows to the body. Catalina bends so far forward she almost head-butts the hapless Ramsgate blonde who can't escape the heat at all and gets trapped along the ropes with the Colombian tourist ripping through her guts from both flanks again. Melissa bellows out in painful spasms and she just takes a beating here with Otalvaro shouting in Spanish to pump herself for more damage. However Debling's resistance is long broken here and she squeals out her demise when her rival plucks so many crisp shots on the exposed ribcage even Anna Woolhouse loses count! DEBLING SLIDES DOWN IN THE CORNER and slumps into a tearful mess. Melinda Messenger throws the towel to the audience in pure disgust but it's a massive KO2 Catalina Otalvaro!!!

AFTER: It's safe to say the TIG entourage got absolutely smoked by the Colombian rookie and some questions will be asked about the pre-fight routine. Melissa seemed convinced the Latin model will require time to get off the mark but we've seen anything but this kind of hesitance from Catalina who steamrolled herself into the BBU spotlight in truly emphatic fashion tonight. These glamour models often get overlooked by various singers or actresses alike but Anna Woolhouse hopes to see Otalvaro in more boxing action soon - JMD rules included.

While Melinda attends to the hurting Melissa, the York Hall audience has a chance to witness some Colombian booty twerking in the center of the ring and there's every chance Catalina becomes one of the most popular newcomers in BBU history very soon indeed! PageThrees coach Sam Fox looks relieved that she booked Otalvaro's debut against one of the TIG girls instead of her own bunch but something tells us P3 leader Jessica Jane Clement is the last person ready to send greetings to the new flyweight phenomenon around the league! Some personality clashes will become unavoidable sooner rather than later according to BBU TV experts!
