TESS VALMORE
The first bout of the night featured two top models. One (Delevingne) had a record of 6-5 or one win above 50%. The other (Waterhouse) had never won a fight losing all five her bouts. After the fight was over, Delevingne was two fights above 50% and Waterhouse still hadn’t won a fight, as Delevingne won by a fifth round KO. It was pleasant to see that the two were good friends before the bout and good friends after. Nice to witness good sportsmanship after the fight
I wasn’t familiar with either Kelley or Mello coming into this bout. I picked Mello to win because she was a little taller. I can’t believe I was so stupid not to pick up on the most important feature. Mello is brunette. Kelley is blonde This is embarrassing. I picked a brunette to win. Of course, she didn’t. It took the blonde about 5 1/2 rounds to put the brunette’s butt on the canvas
In the Hadid/Turner about, yes I picked a brunette to beat a blonde. Not that I like it, but sometimes I have to face reality. Unfortunately I was right
In final fight of the night Alyssa Lynch beat Cailin Russo in a bout that was pretty much of a gimme. Lynch had far too much experience against far better opponents. It took Lynch about nine minutes to take care of business
I must compliment the Vixens for putting on a card that featured good sportsmanship rather than the trashy conduct of another stable
Now that the remainder of the card is set. Here are my predictions
12/8 Kelley/Delevingne—Delevingne Lynch/B.Hadid—Lynch
Final Delevingne/Lynch—Lynch
I will wait until a Lynch/Ren bout is scheduled It should be noted that they have fought three times with Ren winning two. It is highly unusual for a rivalry to develop between two members of the same stable. We hope this could go to the best of seven |
