TESS VALMORE

The November PPV was a large event featuring 34 bouts. Once again, to nobodies surprise, all bouts ended in KOs

Upton retained her title in a bout with Lawrence, but needed what I consider, an illegal move to do it. Had she not gotten away with it, she would have been in real trouble. Despite the foul, it was the bout of the night.

Winstead retained her title by beating Ren and Dobrev remained the bantam champ by winning over Kosarin, who once again failed in a title match.

Williams retained her title in a tough match against Winter. I thought Winter was impressive in the loss. Give her some more experience against good fighters and she has the capability of winning a title

In the Welters, Rhoda beat G. Atkinson. It was Atkinson eighth loss in her last nine bouts It looks like her fifteen minutes of fame are over. T. Atkinson had little trouble with Kroes who was over matched. Kloss has to overcome at least four fouls in beating Nolin, but the post fight humiliation was uncalled for, even for of fighter like Nolin

There were five lightweight bouts outside of the title fight. Strahovski and Yustman will hold on to their rankings as will Ambrosio. Swift, however was upset by Palicki, but Palicki. a big hitter, can upset anyone. I would like to believe Palicki is back as the lightweights can use another fighter like her

In the bantams, Ratajkowski won’t get any credit for beating Glau who is a dead woman walking. Scodelario’s opponent was also not of the dangerous class anymore. Lily continued her drive toward the Hall Of Fame with a win over Michalka, one of the two remaining good members of Bazz,

In the flyweights. Sarah Carter was in her 98th fight which she won. She can’t get into the Hall Of Fame by her 100th fight, but she can soon after, if she can put together a small winning streak. Portman broke a three fight losing streak in her win over Moretz, but I fear her best days are long over. I have to mention Lowndes win over Hale so I don’t have to hear Mr V complain.

You have to pity Rosario Dawson. She had to fight a top lightweight in Yustman. She lasted less than three rounds. That was just half her night. She had to face Taylor Hill in the Asylum five hours later
